Amazing villas, perfect location, exceptional breakfast, and very friendly hosts.

The room was great. Assos is a small, calm and charming place that makes you want to stay longerPopi and Panos, They really take care of you, providing anything you might need (from wine recomendations to beach equipments) The breakfast is really good also

there is not much privacy in the balcony pool.You need a car to get around in Kefalonia and the public parking is a short walk away from the Villas

Obsessed with Chromata! Couldnt recommend more than to stay there. I was super lucky and was upgraded to the corner suite with plunge pool. Poppy (the host) was amazing, lovely and helpful. Helped with my bags on arrival and departure. As Assos is a private area with minimal access, you need to park in certain areas and walk to the accommodation. The room was incredible, massive with 2 bathrooms and comfy beds. The pool and 'deck' area view is incredible. The breakfast provided each morning was vast and delicious. The staff helped with beach recommendations. I loved Assos - a beautiful tiny town (only 3 or so restaurants) but picturesque and quaint. Would recommend everyone to choose Chromata - it was a highlight of my trip.

Chromata Assos Villas are beautifully designed and spotlessly cleaned. Panos is kindness personified and arrived each morning with a thoughtfully presented and delicious breakfast tray. He arranged for an early check in which we really appreciated having had to leave Ithaca early due to stormy seas.

I had taken great care to chose a specific room when booking and opted for the most expensive because Villa 4 has a double aspect view and a bed facing the balcony/sea view & the most privacy. We were given Villa 3 instead. I was disappointed not to get the room I booked which was a treat for my husband and I at the end of our holiday on Ithaca celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. For context - we had stayed there in a gorgeous large interior designed apartment with a spectacular sea view and balconies, filled with sunlight - at a fraction of the cost. Our apartment at Chromata received no light from the September sun, neither did our pretty balcony morning or afternoon. We sat in the cafe in the village instead to be in the sun - which is not what we had expected or looked forward to doing. Had we paid less for the room I would not have minded. But the price was so high for two nights I did not recover from the disappointment of not getting the room I specifically chose on booking.com - Panos was apologetic and charming about it but I honestly felt short changed. I am conscious as I write how lucky we were to be on holiday staying in such lovely accommodation - a first world problem not to get the room I had meticulously chosen. I would not have booked the room we stayed in because of less window light and a different view.

Perfect accommodation overlooking the bay. Breakfast served to your apartment was welcome every morning.

The villa was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean. The owners were very pleasant, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

I liked everything about Chromata Assos Villas!!!

I cannot rave about this place more! Everything was gorgeous, from the room itself to the epic views from our two balconies/terraces, the service – and the breakfast! Panos looked after us so well, and was so communicative and helpful, a really nice guy! The breakfasts varied each day, and based on what we ate we could tell that Panos was adapting each breakfasts to our taste and so that nothing would go to waste! It's little touches like this that made our stay so special. Assos as an area is absolutely beautiful, and if you want to have an incredible view I don't think you could do much better than the villas at Chromata, it was so nice to have a lovely terrace we could relax on without feeling like we were missing out on being out and about and it's in the shade too so cooling down in our own pool was incredible! Honestly would come back and I'm going to be telling everyone I love about this place. Thank you so much, Panos and Pope, and I hope to see you again soon!

The hosts are amazing! They have big hearts and are very generous. The villa is beautiful, new, and well-equipped. Stunning views. Incredible luxury!

Everything about this place is perfect, the room, the location, the host and hostess. And the breakfast was so delicious. If you are looking to stay in Asos this is your place.

Great location, great view & plenty of space.The breakfast were the best.

Where to start? Popi is the most generous hostess. Her property has the MOST comfortable beds I have ever slept in away from home and her kind and generous warmth make you feel at home straight away. The in-room breakfast was so delicious, local produce freshly prepared each day a slightly different offering and so delicious. Very quiet and private accommodation but also a stones throw from the restaurants and beachfront of Assos! Very good aircon too which is a bonus! Thank you Popi and family for a great stay! Also thank you for for letting us be flexible it was very much appreciated!

Nothing to dislike

The property was only a one minute walk to the beach and to the village centre where there was a choice of restaurants and a beach bar. The property was very well appointed and was maintained every day to a high standard. Our host , Popi, was so helpful and friendly and provided an excellent breakfast every morning. There are lovely views of the mountains and sea which all contributed to relaxing holiday

From the moment we arrived Panos was the most amazing host, he was kind and helpful in every way and very polite and discreet.Panos prepared us the most delicious breakfast every day, brought to our apartment - we have never had breakfasts like this in all our stays. Panos offered us a complimentary bottle of wine too which was deliciousThe stay was so peaceful, restful and comfortable Beautiful terrace with plunge pool, luxurious towels and bathrooms products, very comfy bed. A truly memorable stay

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay.

Popi and Panos were very welcoming and helpful. We found the apartment to be charming and beautifully decorated with everything one could need. The views and the plunge pool were fantastic and breakfast was amazing! Only spent one night there and can’t wait to go back for a longer stay.Asos is a gem with gorgeous beaches, fantastic walks, great places to eat and absolutely lovely and helpful locals who make you feel very welcome in their little corner of paradise.

Amazing villa with kitchenetee, plunge pool, and lots of space with an awesome view of assos town, harbour, and venetian castle on the mountain. Close to great restaurants and beaches. Included breakfast is fresh, generous, and delcious! 5 star service, Panos and staff was the best!

An immaculate property with everything you could need for a relaxing break. A super short walk to the beach and to other spots for food. Panos took excellent care of us throughout, safe to say the breakfasts were exceptional. A brilliant trip.

We loved Everything, the little house was beautiful, wonderful service, yummy breakfast and a great location, just two minutes walk to the beach and harbour.

The villa apartment was exceptional. Panos was the perfect host, serving a wonderful breakfast. Style, layout and fixtures & fittings all amazing. Benefitted from two bathrooms and showers plus a small private outdoor pool area. Only a short walk from the main restaurants and shops. Highly recommended in a lovely part of Kefelonia. BOOK NOW!
