Good location. Only 5 minutes to bus station and lake promenade, ships pier.Very quiet surrounding.Good breakfast. Several types of bread, Eggs prepared right away for you. Enough to cope what a breaksfast mud thave.

Wi-Fi in my room was very weak. At times the mobile telephone was unable to find the name of the connection. Did not find TV control in the room.

Wonderful place. Well located, quaint hotel. Staff is extra friendly and helpful. Small hotel, in a wonderful way. Good breakfast included with the room. Great sized room. Great location. We would absolutely stay here again.

The only area for improvement - the restaurant decided to close one evening without much warning due to a lower than planned number of guests, and that was the evening we planned on eating there. This made things a little hard for our family.

Giada, Ivana and staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful! The room was well appointed and hotel located right in the old town, minutes from the square, restaurants and shopping (and the welcome drink was sure appreciated!) Giada provided the code for car access, so bag drop off and pick up was easy. The buffet breakfast was delicious with optional cooked breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel and congratulations to staff and management for making us feel so welcome!

Beautiful hotel with charm, a wonderful outdoor patio, incredibly nice hosts, delicious breakfast. I like the authenticity of the old post and the perfect location.

Jazz festival meant it would be impossible for a quiet room. Great for tourist, but not so much if you need a good nights sleep.

Everything! The proximity to the lake and restaurants, awesome breakfast, quiet and romantic. Even got a drink coupon for the wine bar that’s next to the hotel!

Staff were very friendly from the get go. We were given a free drink each to enjoy in the very nice courtyard, as well as a very generous breakfast buffet. The room was spacious, and the location was great.

Location was perfect. A beautiful b&b so quaint and pretty. Breakfast was to a high standard. Giada on reception was so lovely. I didn't catch the other lady's name at breakfast but she was equally as lovely. I booked a standard room. It had everything I needed

Small & friendly, exceptional position and friendly accomodating staff. The restaurant was fantastic with a wonderful 1600s authentic room and the food was the best we had in Ascona.

all the smells from the kitchen are felt in the room and in the hotel lobby. Hotel rooms look much better in the pictures then in reality. Breakfast is rather basic ( musli, eggs) no vegan or more sophisticated options. no electric kettle in the room. quality of the service is to my opinion overpriced.

Breakfast was good and was in the beautiful restaurant. Located right in town near all the restaurants and close to the lake.

Although the location was right in town, it was difficult to drive a car to the hotel through the large amount of people out. The directions were confusing. The air conditioner was difficult to turn off and was noisy all night.

Easy and relaxed check-in/check-out procedure.Even in off-season (almost no guests) everything felt cozy and inviting.Staff extremely friendly and helpful.Free welcome drinks in the bar at the sister property. (they also do amazing carbonara!)Complementary room upgrade was nice.

Excellent location, 5 min to the bus, the lake site just over the corner, but yet a quiet location. We were there at the time of jazz festival and still good to sleep. Very good breakfast, Very friendly staff. Good ambiance in the old building. We also took a dinner in the restaurant - very nice place and good food.

It might only relate to our room 7, The room was relatively humid, may be due to a facility room near by. To compensate, the room was facing a quiet small street - was possible to keep windows open for the night.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at thanks to the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the staff! We stayed mother and daughter back in April, and found the hotel beautifully decorated, the rooms very spacious and located just next to the lake and small shops. The breakfast was very good and of high quality, as well as the dinner and drinks. The ladies at reception were simply amazing, helpful, easygoing and extremely professional, especially Giada:-) Thank you for this extraordinary stay, we will for sure be back and recommend your hotel to friends and family!

Convenient location not far from the lake but on a little street in the pedestrian zone. Beautiful very old historic hotel with a lovely breakfast room, very good breakfast, friendly staff, good value for money
