Great location & great staff

A bit dated but very well cared for

The property is beautiful and the staff except for the restaurant wait staff was superb. The breakfast was good however dinner was overpriced and incredibly disappointing. The owner was incredibly gracious and made himself available. If they could fix their wait staff and get a new chef this would truly be a 4 star hotel in the finest sense of the word.

The AC didn’t work well

We received a complimentary room upgrade with an amazing view of the lake, mountains, and swimming pool. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the swimming pool offered a fantastic view.

The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but that’s a matter of personal preference. Also, the swimming pool closed around 7 PM, although it was listed as open until 8 PM on Booking.com.

Very beautiful and quiet garden and pool area, heated pool, newly renovated single room, small but enough space for one, friendly staff, free transfer too Locarno Centrale!

No kettle in the room, shower curtain too short so useless, smoking allowed in all outside areas, breakfast below average, bed too soft.

Great place to stay uphill from city center with beautiful view. It has beautiful and green garden on site. We were surprised by apero offered for Easter Saturday. Very friendly staff, spacious room with balcony and view on the lake and mountains. Amazing breakfast. Walking distance to everywhere. Very good price. We will be back for sure :)

The breakfast was really good and the hotel had option for lactose intolerance individual. We had an apéro before dinner. The food was good and the price as well compared to the restaurant outside the hotel.

It felt exclusive. Vide from the terrace, breakfast was plentiful. Personal staff was friendly

Everything was great: the room, the view, the pool, the breakfast, the friendship of the employees and specially of the manager.

There is a part of the hotel that seems to have some outdated rooms comparing to those above the swimming pool. I enjoyed those modern rooms more ;)

The lack of air conditioning. I chose this hotel because it said that the single rooms have air conditioning. I was very disappointed when I entered the room to see a fan. Only a select number of rooms have a retrofit ac, but not the single rooms. I find this false advertising.

During my stay at the hotel in Switzerland, I really enjoyed several aspects that made the experience special. The hosting staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist and provide excellent service. The hotel's location was wonderful, with breathtaking views from the balcony that added charm to every moment. The breakfast was good and tasty with a wide variety, but it lacked a selection of fresh vegetables that would have enhanced the meal.

I didn’t like that the hotel looked outdated, and the room had several issues. There was a cable connected to the TV running across the middle of the room, taped down with duct tape, which affected both the aesthetics and safety. The flooring and furniture were old, and there were ants in the room along with a spider nest on the ceiling above the bed. The bathroom was outdated, with a bathtub surrounded by a curtain—a very old-fashioned way to prevent water from spilling out. The bathtub was high, making it difficult to get in and out, requiring caution to avoid slipping. Additionally, the breakfast lacked a selection of vegetables.
