The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I was so impressed by the quality of the buffet, it was one of the best I've had. My daughter particularly liked the banana smoothies! The service at breakfast was also delightful, lovely smiling & welcoming. The location is fantastic. It is a minutes walk from the main bus station where you can catch a public bus direct to Salzburg airport. Also it's near a very pretty church & Christmas market + minutes walk from the City Express Cable car. Also a Spar supermarket on the corner.

Unfortunately Booking.Com made a mistake - they have since made the same error & I've complained to the customer service as this is not an isolated event & made for a very stressful check in experience.. Despite my booking being for 1 adult & 1 child, the reservation was only for myself. Despite showing even the price for 2 adults including breakfast was the same as for 1 adult (minus the city tax difference), I was told I would have to pay extra for my daughter's breakfast. Eventually this was resolved but I did not appreciate having to argue for over an hour & 1 male member of staff came & yelled at me so aggressively, he made me cry. The room I was given was 1st floor & road side (on the square).. there were drunk people at the outside bar on the square & I barely got any sleep. So I recommend asking for a room on the other side. Also when you turn on the light for the bathroom, there is glass so it lights up the whole room. There is a separate sauna area for adults but the way it's designed, noise from children in the Jacuzzi, destroys the peace. That is not the hotels fault but there were children with no adult supervision who were very noisy.

The gym was a little limited.

The hotel location it in the center of the city and very close to the lake and to the bus station which takes you to the cable car. We got a room with a nice view of the lake and the pool. The room itself was comfortable, clean and quite modern. The breakfast was nice with varied options. The dinner is totally worth it, I was expecting the typical buffet, but it is actually a 4 course dinner with excellent quality. The wellness and pool area were very nice. The hotel staff were always very helpful and kind.

There was no hairdryer in the room, which I never had this kind of experience by staying a 4 star hotel. No apologies from the hotel staff either.And the water boiler leak out even than there was only 200 ml water inside which is really dangerous.

The hotel has an excellent location and new furniture.

We had 11 rooms and as soon as we entered the hotel they said we would not take a deposit of 300 euros for each room and I said that this is a large amount and they told me to negotiate the price and they took a deposit of 500 euros from me and when we checked out of the room they delayed us for an hour and a half when we checked out and they kept delaying us

I liked the spa area.Staff was great, they did me a favor when I needed something with no hesitation.

On one day there was no tea and shampoo in the spa, would be nice if its checked and refilled daily.

Really liked the property, it was clean, facilities and location very good and food was great.

Good location to close to the lake, apres-ski and the slopes. Really amazing spa amenities, which were empty almost all the time so we could enjoy it all by ourselves, Food is good and nice buffet.

Really hot in the rooms even with the windows open. The matrasses are quite soft, so personally for me it was not comfy enough, so I could not get a proper sleep.

The breakfast was plentiful.

The initial room was very noisy, and we have changed it to a comfortable one, after the first overnight !

Lovely staff, great selection of food, warm cosy accommodation, great Jacuzzi/Pool/Sauna/Spa facilities for after skiing!

Rooms and hotel have been recently renovated and are of an excellent standard. Breakfast was great and the evening meal was of a very high standard. Could not fault the location either with both ski lifts and the town centre only minutes walk away,

They seem to have decided to play dance music with a heavy base beat in the communal bar area in the evenings. This is not in keeping with their clientele and they really need to reconsider, this is not conducive to friends sitting and sharing time together after their evening meal.

Outside pools not very inviting. Jacuzzi was great, but with kids screaming? Not relaxing. This area needs to be adult only. Naked adults and kids, that’s not right. Kids allowed in outside pool only.

The spa was nice and the beds were comfortable, the staff at the breakfast service were very helpful and friendly

We arrived at 3pm check in. The reception staff seemed annoyed that we were there,they asked for our names, told us the room isn’t ready, to sit over on the couch and wait. There was no apology, they actually seemed angry at us for being there on time. We don’t mind waiting, but to wait 30 minutes and to act as if it was our fault, is just bad customer service,.They offered us a drink and we assumed it was because we were waiting and thought , finally, they were actually trying to make up for making us wait., instead the reception insisted we pay when checking out. This hotel needs new management/training in customer service. Don’t expect a smile from the man behind the reception when you walk in.

No coat hooks in the rooms, boot room is terrible as it’s too small and cramped, it has carpet tiles in the floor which are permanently soaked, boot walmers aren’t warm enough. The hotel should remove the gym and put the boot room thereEvening meal food is good but not great, cozy double rooms are cramped especially with two people, little details could be better like having candle bulbs in the wall lights instead of the golf ball typeIt can get very very busy in the wellness and the outdoor pool/jacuzzi is a couple of degrees too cold

I didn’t get the room I booked. This room is not even in the pictures of the hotel. This is not worth the money I paid for this room. The spa only works from 3 to 8. The carpet was dirty.
