The staff did not take care of our complaints. there was no heating on first day, then only late at night. the shower was broken and was not fixed. we had to hold the shower head with rope.

Everything was first class, beautiful hotel and location with friendly staff. Breakfast and bar were terrific.

The breakfast was exceptional as was the service. The location was also great for many activities in town.

Friendly staff

The biggest problem: there is no air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed in a freshly renovated room and were shocked to find out that the only ventilation was in the bathroom. The room was very hot and humid, even though the weather outside wasn’t particularly warm. This made the stay quite uncomfortable.The breakfast was good, but the snack selection was very disappointing. They served sushi with rice that was not fully cooked — some grains were so hard that I almost broke a tooth. It was definitely not sushi rice, and overall the taste was awful, probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had.Another issue: luggage service. Nobody offered to help us with our suitcases, and there is no luggage room available after checkout. The staff kindly let us leave our bags under a staircase, but it was completely unattended — meaning anyone could have taken them.Also, while I don’t mind paying a pet fee, I was surprised that the hotel doesn’t provide even basic amenities for dogs (such as a bowl or blanket), which most pet-friendly hotels usually do.

The staff was really friendly and professional, even a member of the staff went and added a parking ticket to my car so i wont get a fine for parking too long, respect.

The staff were wonderful right from walking through the door on arrival. We were Bed and Breakfast and ate out most nights there were plenty of restaurants. We did eat in the hotel one evening and the dinner was superb. Breakfast was excellent and offered everything you could possibly think of including eggs cooked to order. The swimming pool was lovely and generally everything seemed to have been carefully thought of throughout the hotel. Everywhere was immaculately clean and we had a very large room with all the usual requirements provided.

Not really a criticism but the decor in the reception area and bar was a little flowery and ornate for my taste. However, it was in the ski resort/Austrian style.

We loved our stay at the Tirolerhof. The location was ideal, our room was so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We found all the staff to be so warm and helpful.

A great hotel in Zell am See. Perfect location

Nothing. Some misunderstanding regarding my booking which could have been better handled really affected early days at the hotel. A note in my room with clarification and apology made our stay great again.

The hotel is in an amazing location, really near the lake and all good restaurants in the town and the city express for skiing. The hotel is super clean and very beautifully laid out and decorated with wonderful attention to detail. The spa, sauna and pool are really lovely and a real treat after a long day skiing. The bar area is great as well, we loved having an evening drink here, especially infront of the cosy fireplace. Our room was beautiful,on the top floor and an incredible view of the lake and mountains, we felt super lucky with our room and it made for a truly enjoyable stay. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco which was a wonderful touch. It’s a picture perfect hotel for a magical winter escape and we loved staying here!

Sauna and pool etiquette is not adhered to by all guests and the small space can become crowded and unclean by the end of the day. More staff frequenting the area would be really helpful to address this. Some of the staff were truly amazing and others came across as a little incompetent and rude, so it was 50/50. The food in the restaurant is subpar except for the buffet which was great but I am glad we didn’t get the half board option, other hotels in the area offer much better food. I think an improvement in the food would make a massive difference to an overall great hotel.

Beautiful property within walking distance of post Platz for the ski bus and everywhere else. Great sauna and spa facilities and rooms were large and comfortable. Great breakfast spread! Great Xmas atmosphere.

Lovely building with well furnished public areas in a good location a short stroll from the centre and lake. Very quiet and spacious room with a balcony. Exceptionally helpful reception staff gave us personal attention and advice.
