Pros +
- The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center. They offer a summer card for guests, which is a great bonus. The place is clean and the staff are friendly.
- Fantastic location, beautiful building, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff.
- location , clean place , quiet , spacious room
Cons -
- If you’re wondering about air conditioning, there is none in the rooms, but a fan is provided. There was also a bit of noise from the bar downstairs, especially because we had the windows open — the sound felt very close
- lady in reception
- Breakfast was disappointing. Started at 7:30 but if you arrived at 7:40 it was like a plague of locusts had passed through and there was virtually nothing left! Kitchen was really slow at replacing empty platters -if at all. Felt a bit hounded out on checkout day - yes, checkout time was 10am but was a bit fed up with a ‘hurry up’ on leaving breakfast at 7:50!

Excellent, central location for IM event. Comfortable, clean room with extra pillows provided on request.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Good location close to everything - train station, restaurants and the lake.
All was good.
Cella Central Historic Boutique Hotel is a very nice accomodation with lovely enterior and very nice and helpful staff. The room was clean and cosy, the bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom was also very spacious. The staff was very helpful with making it possible to store my bike during the night and also helped me very early in the morning to get it.
The weather was quite cold during my stay and I would have loved some heating in the room, but unfortunately it was already turned off. Unfortunately I had to leave early in the morning so I could not have breakfast, even though I paid for it.
size of the room was good. that is the only positive thing to say about this hotel.
Its incredibly noisy. even with only few guests in the hotel i was given a room right above the lane where all the guests party and drink until late at night. I did not sleep at all. Pillows are awful - pretty standard for Austria though.Had a terrible experience where the cleaning staff came into my room (1hr before i was due to check out ).I had headphones on and did not hear the door knock, yet still they barged into my room with approval and i was in the bathroom. Under no circumstances should anyone access a guests room without good reason. Unacceptable!! When i complained to reception, explanation was given staff do this to check if guests need more toilet paper or towels. This makes no sense, I was checking out in 1hr. If this is your process, change it. I was left in a state of embarrassment and shock. I do not recommend this hotel, unless you sleep like a log and aren't bothered about personal privacy. I am still furious, this hotel is a waste of money and a terrible experience.Lastly this hotel is spamming me through the booking.com website, emailing me deals for their hotel. I did not sign up for this and have complained to booking.com
Very friendly & professional receptionist GeorgeLocation was greatComfortable parking available
Friendly clean excellent location
That the spa doesn’t open until 3pm
Location is great. Few mins walk to the ski lift.
Front office staff may be overwhelmed. Couldn’t even take us to our room. And firstly took us to the wrong building lol
Perfect location to train, bus, restaurants...right in the center of town! Huge room with small slcove entrance and lovely bathroom.
Only positive part was the location
1. In a cold winter day, the heating was not functioning and they did not anyone to fix it. Seriously in a winter night, heating was malfunctioning.2. There was a bad smell in the toiletIf you have to stay at Zell am See and if this is the only option, bring your tent which is more or less similar to stay at this hotel
The hotel is super central! Great location in the old part of town. It was great to be able to use the spa facilities of the sister hotel.
We stayed at the start of the season, and did not see any staff for our stay. Which was a shame as we did miss the hospitality angle.
Hotel is very central located, nice staff, good restaurant.
Bread was ok, bit could be more fresh.
- No a/c but room had a fan in it and thank God because it was needed- we had two different receptionist, first one didn't give full information on anything, you always had to ask and ask and ask. The second one was very professional, very friendly and superb with information.- location very central and at the famous instagramable hanging umbrellas and less than 10mins away walk to the lake.- very classic austrian style hotel with long history if you are into that sort of thing.- very close to billa (supermarket)Tip: This town wakes up late, so only restaurants in hotels are open early, nothing seems to be open before 9/10am.
- No elevator for 3rd floor (you have take lift to 2nd ans then up you go on stairs)- There's no parking at the hotel (they have a very small one close to the hotel for you to drop your bags and then go to the rathaus parking which is 1-2mins away by car) you have to call them for them to open the barrier to the small parking. - I didn't like the beds (very bouncy and too soft) but that's a taste thing I guess.Overall, I was happy with stay and can recommend.
The location is excellent. But there are no insulators in the rooms. The disturbance of passers-by in the street next to my room wakes me up from my sleep. There is no air conditioning, but there is a fan.. It is good, but I do not think of returning to it in the future
good breakfast, located in the center.
you must pay for summary card (7euro) by default even if you don't use it
clean place , location is very good , and the treatment is very kind
Very good location, nice staff.
Balcony was shared with 2 other rooms!
big comfortable room
no staff after 10 pmhard to findno private parking..there is one 300 m and you have to pay 15 €per nightthere is one of staff (niki)not helpful and not kind
