    Pros +

    • It’s a lovely location and the rooms are large.
    • Great location for skiing. Very close to the slopes.
    • Location very close to the Dollone lift and 4810 ski hire

    Cons -

    • A few items were broken - the bathroom door did not close. Would have expected that these things were checked. Also while the breakfast was pretty decent - the quantity was limited - so if you arrived towards the end - you would not get all the items - which is not acceptable. As long as the guest is within the time - the entire breakfast should be available.
    • The building needs major renovations. Its original…
    • Not been refurbished for 30 years. Contrary to its website and the booking.com description there was no parking, no restaurant, no spa. The ski room was just some dexion shelving in the underground carpark (all the car parking bays filled with junk behind broken bay doors) with a non-functioning light and the exit to street level was four floors above. Breakfast very basic, saccharine reconstituted fruit juice and 1970s tinned fruit salad. WiFi barely useable.

Very kind and attentive staff.Large and comfortable room.Good breakfast

Inconvenient and narrow driveway for cars.

    very convenient location

Hotel feels unloved. Spa wasn't functioning 'due to covid'. Breakfast was poor quality - cheap squash rather than fruit juice, bread sometimes dry.

Everything was perfect! The hotel has an excellent location with beautiful views of the mountains and the river, creating a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. But the most important thing is the staff – they make the stay truly special. Such kind and welcoming people, they make you feel at home. The breakfast was simply amazing – delicious and varied. We will definitely come back!

It was conveniently located for the Dolone Courmayeur cable car, a 3 minute walk and the staff were very friendly. The Breakfast and coffee was reasonable as was the view.

The overall theme for this hotel is that of quite decrepitude It was not clear from information or photos that the hotel is built under a stone viaduct that support the busy narrow single carriageway main road. The Hotel front door opens straight on to this viaduct,. Whilst picturesque, the location makes it virtually impossible to pull up to main door to drop of luggage/ski gear from cars. You have to park at Dollonne cable car car park and carry/drag it 300m luggage along snowy roads to get to the hotel. Although there is an incredibly steep drive to ground floor reception, it was coated in thick ice that was not cleared and impossible to walk down, let alone drive down. Once inside the Hotel's viaduct front door, you have to carry luggage down a flight of stairs to get to the lift and then go down to reception, which is at ground (river) level some 3 or 4 floors below. Its all a bit awkward. The room was also not the best standard; the ceiling over the bed was covered in polystyrene tiles (?fire hazard in UK) and where was not, the paint was blistered and flaking. We had small leaks from both radiators (room and bathroom) and a very large leak from either the sink or bidet. The shower head was so broken it sprayed everywhere other than through the rose, and curiously the shower hose was too short to place in the wall clip. There was also a wrought iron and glass shelf at face level which was perfectly placed to bang you on the head if you were over 5 foot tall. We reported the faults to reception and they did at least replace the shower head, which was appreciated. The leak was catered for by a title rolled extra towel wrapped around the bidet pedestal; I hope there were waiting for a plumber to come later that week? Radiators remained leaking, but again guessing will be fixed if/when plumber arrives. Still no Spa facilities (? leaking) and from other reviews have not worked several years.

Lovely old style hotel …. Lovely vibe … really enjoyed my stay and will be back

No parking on site but large car park nearby so ok

Location was excellent for skiing and a short walk to the town centre. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The property is in desperate need of a renovation. The exterior door of our room was very drafty and our room was extremely cold until additional heaters were brought into the room. The bathroom was clean, but the wrought iron fixtures were rusting and light bulbs needed to be replaced. The “ski room” is a corner of the unlocked underground car park - if you value gear leave it in your car (which won’t be parked onsite).

Staff were very friendly. The hotel was quite dated, but a unique charm. Right next to the river which was really nice. The shower is very small and would be difficult to get in for some people. The breakfast was exceptional.

We booked last minute doing the Tour Du Mont Blanc as wild camping is not permitted in Italy. Great value for a last minute booking and great service from the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very close to the city centre for some food and drinks too.

Very good breakfast, very close to Dologne lift.

There is a kitchen in the room but out of order. The beds are not so comfortable.

    8RubenPosted on: 9-5-2024

The breakfast was really good, we could start eating early so that meant we could start our day early as well. The room was spacious and met all our requirements to have a enjoyable stay. The location was okay, we were directly in the city-center.

The room itself wasn't quiet, due to the river being really loud and wild.

    9GemmaPosted on: 9-2-2024

Great location, half way between the town and the bubble. Loved the rushing river noise, very white noise.

Stunning location, clean and comfortable room. Excellent value for money and a good breakfast.

Couldn't get the WIFI working in our room but not a problem.

    Good location and breakfast

WiFi didn’t work, rooms very dark and small bathroom

    7ThomasPosted on: 7-29-2024

Nice staff. Close to city center. Clean rooms.

A little bit dated. Have seen better days.

    7SimonePosted on: 5-14-2024

    Perfect location, good price

Minibar was noisy. Room a bit old, needs to be renovated

    9LorenzoPosted on: 4-22-2024

Beautifully situated by the river with great alpine views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast good. My room was lovely; attractively furnished and the bed comfortable. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but an excellent one within easy walking distance.

Difficult to find the reception. The hotel is built into the side of a ravine, so that one enters by an upper floor, but the signage in the lift and on the stairs is a little deficient
