Hotel Del Viale

Beautiful old decor outside and in common areas. Excellent breakfast in gorgeous old dining room. Very accommodating staff, esp. Luigi, who drove the shuttle and gave us an excellent recommendation for pizza restaurant. Walkable to town.

Room decor could have been outfitted with more old world elegance to match the rest of the hotel. Carpeting also tired and ugly. Beds coukd be more comfortable.

Love the older stylings. Location can’t be beat, right under Mont Blanc. Short walk to the Courmayeur restaurants.

Bed was hard and lumpy.

The property was really lovely and a nice breakfast was offered!

The rooms are a little outdated and it could’ve been a bit cleaner but overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Hotel Del Viale is in my opinion truly an amazing experience. You can fill any building with people and call it a hotel, what you get with Hotel Del Viale is a homely environment with staff that care and enjoy there job. The building itself is incredibly inside and out. within it’s walls it’s filled with inspiring art and heritage of the local area. Outside it has amazing views. I shall definitely be returning:)

All good, surely this hotel is better for a quiet vacation as it is a family business

The staff were passive-aggressive, every one of them. The old bald man at the reception was the worst. I wouldn’t come back because of this—they were not welcoming at all.

Perfect character, ease of access.

Very hot, windows open couldn’t keep air circulating for proper sleep.

We have spent here 3 nights as a stop from Tour de Mont Blanc, watching from the balcony the clouds and the rain. Everything is just perfect here.

The staff (except the owner/manager) were extremely kind. The young lady at the breakfast bar was so sweet & nice. The room was clean and a decent price.

The owner/manager was very rude and it felt like you were unconvincing him by staying there. The hotel was clean but could use some updating.

Lots of charm with a more traditional feel, great location only a 10 min walk out of town. Rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was excellent so more than happy.There was parking on site as well not that I used it.. Finally Staff couldn’t do enough which is great, especially when you can’t speak to much of the language.

No kettle in room (just a personal thing)

Comfy big double bed, bath, plenty of towels. Terrace outside to sit in the sun. Superb breakfast, lots of cereal, fruit, juices, coffee and pastries.

all seemed fine, lots of history around the place.

Hotel had great character and charm.The food was great served by very friendly staff.

Would like to have tea and coffee making facilities available in the room.

Family run and they were all great. Able to put up with my complete lack of speaking Italian. Food was awesome.

Could have turned on the boiler the one night it was cold but still not that bad ( really just wanted to try out the towel warming rack).

This was our rest day for the TMB. Facilities were great after a couple of long days of hiking. Shower is great and breakfast buffet was a treat. The bus stop is a 4 min walk for you to continue on your journey
