- The view was amazing. The ambience was very quaint
- Nice experience to stay in a 15th century building. Clean and nice staff. Diner was good for a great price.
- Lovely hotel, not in resort so quiet. A 15 min walk to town centre but only 5 mins to Dolonne cable car
Cons -
- Bathroom was a build small, especially the shower.
- Nothing! All good! ☺️
- What I did not lke is the dogs in the hotel which were very noisy and unfortunately the staff did not care about who wanted to be quiet. Dogs were let alone on the room while the owners were skiing or eating and it was very noisy. Very dispapointed bout this!!!

Courmayeur is a quite good ski resot

The hotel Dolonne is an old property with a lot of charm. The personal was excellent ❤️
The hotel Dolonne isn’t 3 star hotel, more a 2 star hotel. The room was in a bad shape with no good WiFi connection. And as it says it’s not a ski in/ out hotel.
The hotel was so unique with its medieval features maintained. But it also felt really cosy and welcoming. I loved it as soon as I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The only improvement would have been a self service drinks machine for breakfast rather than waiting to place a drinks order

A very sweet, small hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. The dinners were an exceptional value. But mainly, I enjoyed the eclectic nature of the place. Lots of wood and stone, exposed beams and rafters, and vintage furniture contribute to the hotel’s charm. Every room held something surprising.
The only drawback this older, non-driving client experienced is the infrequent (once per hour) bus service to town. It’s a short walk but with significant vertical: a chore if you’re hauling a heavy suitcase.
Great value for money, clean, great views from rooms. Excellent staff, just ask and they will help. They have lots of adapters at reception between the many Italian plug types.
Could do with a makeover, but if your looking at this hotel you filtered by cheapest in Courmayeur so can’t be picky.
This hotel is lovely, in a very peaceful, beautiful location. It's comfortable, and excellent value for money.
The breakfast needs a little work, it was very basic, which is a shame, because everything else was exceptional.
We loved that the hotelWas kept in its original state, with stone hallways, rooms with exposed original beams, and gathering areas reminiscent of the 17th century!
We would have appreciated better pillows and a bit more light in the rooms.
Atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Location is awesome
The pillows were very thin - I should have asked for another one but it was late….
Everything was fine but what got me the most was that authentic feel and the views.
Leaking roof got my clothes a bit wet as it was pouring all night.
Nice little hotel out of the main town. I had a single room which was a little dated but did the job and was clean
At breakfast all of the boiled eggs were gone and when I asked for some I was told there were no more. Also no fresh bread available.
Absolutely stunning building. Never seen anything like it, feel like you’re inside a castle. Huge social lounge with a massive fireplace, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly, helpful and chatty. Would highly recommend staying and if I’m in the area again I will for sure stay here. The food menu also looks superb but I did eat there on the evening I stayed.
Rooms were very warm in the summer, a fan in the rooms would make it more comfortable. I didn’t ask at reception as we’re only stayed the night and was up and out very early but maybe they had some.
Quiet and beautiful- nice little balcony. Good shower and comfy bed. Great place to rest up if you’re doing the Tour du Mont Blanc.
Staff were a bit weird / unhelpful. Reception desk not always staffed even though you have to hand in your key when you go out. We had to wait more than a few minutes. But we had a very nice older gentleman deliver a carafe of wine plus snacks to our room late one night so that made up for it. ;)
The dinner was very tasty with several courses. The breakfast was also very good with variety.
The beds were a little hard.
We loved our stay here! The stuff was absolutely nice, and the place itself it's amazing! very old, you feel like travelling back in time. I also recommend to have dinner there, the price is excellent as so is the food. And the view from the Mont Blanc is just lovely.
Very friendly staff , good food and very clean room.
Very kind staff, fantastic food and hygiene. The hotel is cozy and not crowded. Perfect location to the cabin lift, we are absolutely pleased with our stay and would visit again.
