    Pros +

    • Outstanding view of the mountains, excellent breakfast, incredibly helpful and friendly staff that made excellent dinner and hiking suggestions...everything was perfect...will definitely go back and will stay at this particular location
    • Fantastic location & a very comfortable room! Pay for sauna at a 4 star hotel - this is my 3rd visit (2x to this hotel) both places we stayed were 4 stars but charged for sauna maybe a common practice…
    • Thanks to (almost) all the staff at Le Pic Blanc - very accommodating and helpful as we arrived early and left late to enjoy the slopes.Particularly enjoyed the breakfast and spa

    Cons -

    • everything was perfect, even the weather!
    • Nothing really
    • The room was quite basic considering the cost of the stay at £350 per night. £100 per night would be more reflective of the room quality. At mealtimes we felt rushed. The breakfast was removed unnecessarily at 10am on the dot. At dinner it took an age to get a waiters attention. When we were finally able to order dinner the main arrived moments after our starter, with the waiter forcing our food onto the table. The staff seemed raw and inexperienced for what we expected from a hotel of this standard.

The location was great with easy access to the ski shop and equipment. We were 100 metres from the main ski lifts.

Lovely log fire. Good breakfast offering. Lots of choice. Rooms were comfortable but small. Nice to have a bath and shower option.

A ‘spa’ hotel which charges €20 extra for its sauna/jacuzzi! Expensive drinks and supper, which was unimaginative. Unsophisticated room TVs.

Great location and good rooms, always lots of hot water. Staff super helpful and friendly

    6SamPosted on: 2-16-2025

Room was lovely and shower over the bath was good. Ski hire service was exceptional. Very accommodating.

Breakfast was ok, eggs were cold. Pool was stained with black algae. Needed a good clean and the lining needs replacing. No lunch option or bar snacks for when you come back for the children’s lunch break. You don’t always want to stay on the slopes from 9am-5pm. The children want to warm up and chill out. Restaurant food was not child friendly and the food was basic with just 2 options to choose from. When the restaurant was full, the restaurant staff were not accommodating to the children who were hungry. So we had to go out for dinner, which we wanted to most nights. But some nights you just want to stay in, so we ended up getting a takeaway as no room service either. If the bar is busy, you can wait 45 mins for a drink. Reception won’t book restaurants for you which is fine, but again, not accommodating. The pool table needs €2 bit we were cashless. They wouldn’t add €2 to our bill or take payment there and then in exchange for €2 so the children could play. Again, not accommodating. No robes or slippers in the room, you have to ask for them. To use the spa, you need to book, but you only get 1 hour which is long enough as it’s small and 6-8 people at a time. This costs you €20 per person and is not included in the €3.5k you spend to stay in the hotel!!!!

The hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean and cosy, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect for skiing. The spa and wellness facilities were also excellent, providing a relaxing end to a day on the slopes.

There was nothing to dislike; everything was perfect!

    6GeorgePosted on: 1-30-2025

Location was excellent and staff were attentive although busy

The half board dinner options were very limited. The NYE gala dinner was a shambles unfortunately.

    8CsabaPosted on: 1-26-2025

The room and the dinners! And the lounge!

    Distance feom the nearest lift.

    9GaryPosted on: 1-14-2025

Good choice at breakfast, staff friendly, room good size.Very close to the slopes - 200mMain town is 10 minutes walk. There are a few restaurants at the bottom of the slope along with a supermarket.

If you have a room at the front of the hotel you do hear the noise from the car park and people coming back after a night out.I recommend booking restaurants in town as they do get busy especially at the weekends

Lovely hotel. Comfortable, clean room with an amazing mountain view. Lovely lounge and bar area and great outdoor terrace/garden. Excellent breakfast. Reception staff were fantastic - very helpful and kind.

Dinner in the restaurant is really not good - surprising for such a nice hotel. The restaurant service was truly terrible and the food is low quality and expensive. Don’t book half board - there are far better options to eat elsewhere.

Incredible Mountain view from the balcony, great location, very helpful and kind staff.

    5AudreyPosted on: 8-18-2024

    The location

The service is so poor, they are lost at the desk, at the bar, at the breakfast…no organisation at all, they do not answer your mail or your phone calls, they asked us to change room in the middle as we were having different bookings for finally land in the same category of rooms, the carpets are so dirty - need to be fully refurbished - like the sofa in the rooms - the breakfast is equal as a formula 1 type of hotel, everything industrial except the bread, I will never book this hotel again / a pity with the location they have and a 4 stars and the Price !!!!

    10AlistairPosted on: 8-13-2024

The views from the Mountain View rooms are absolutely wonderful with no vis a vis. The rooms are larger than average for French Alp hotels and are comfortable and well organised. The bar lounge area is cosy, the breakfast great value. Above all, the staff are superb; friendly, helpful, happy - especially Oksana!! Highly recommend

Nothing to dislike except maybe the noise of the mountain stream!!

    8KejoPosted on: 8-6-2024

    Nice rooms and helpful staff

    No food options after 9pm

The staff was amazing and friendly. Very helpful.Specially, thanks to Chris the head of housekeeping and Tristan and his team in the restaurant. You guys made my stay very good.

Booked a privilege room. It was a great size and well laid out. It was quiet too. The staff were great. The dinner was good.

The changing area for the swimming pool and the doors leading to the garage need some TLC.

    8SleepwellgoodnightPosted on: 7-24-2024

The room was very nice and comfortable, the view fantastic. I liked the powerful fan for drying my hair. The furnishing felt new or very well taken care off.

I do not appreciate it when hotels serve scrambled egg made from powder, certainly not in this price class. The TV didn't work properly at the arrival of rain. And unfortunately we lost a birthday card that was accidentally blown on the balcony below, but when we wrote to the front-desk after departure as the receptionist had asked us, we didn't get a response.
