    Pros +

    • Comfortable, quiet rooms, clean with a friendly and super helpful staff. We would stay there again! The views were wonderful. If you’re looking for a place with good value, convenient and with beautiful views - this is the place to stay!
    • The things we loved SO MUCH were: The location (1 minute walk to nearest ski slope and all the restaurants, supermarkets etc) , the staff (they couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile), the breakfast was delicious and fresh, the views over the mountain and valley from every window was just magic, the open fire in the bar area, the cocktails! And also the fact that it has a ski shop on site is just epic. The beds were the comfiest ever and we all slept so well ☺️
    • Comfortable beds, friendly staff and excellent food.

    Cons -

    • The rooms aren't the biggest but they have lots of clever storage so at least the space was used wisely! And I think tea and coffee facilities in the rooms is an essential offering in any guesthouse/hotel and sadly we didn't have them here, so we bought a kettle in the local supermarket!
    • Nothing it was all extremely good
    • We left too early for breakfast so it would have been nice to have coffee making facilities in the room but really this is the only thing I would change and I will still return despite this.

The location was perfect, parking was easy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The meal in the restaurant was very good.

The location of the hotel is handy: close to the city center and next to a ski lift. The view was amazing from the hotel and the room spacious, clean and confortable. The staff was helpfull and always nice.

Great family hotel with friendly and helpful staff, lovely accormodation.

Baby football table should be free - daft to charge a euro for it as many people simply don't have a euro coin. Minor detail though.

Lots of options for breakfast at the hotel. Dinner in restaurant of the hotel was good. Bar/ lounge was nice. All the staff are super friendly!

Dinner service was a bit slow. I would have preferred to chose a time and allow staff to spread out the service to make it more personal and timely. It was very warm in the rooms even with heaters turned off.

Good location. 1 min walk to nearest piste. Selection of good restaurants nearby. Lounge area with open fire was lovely. Good breakfast. Great views from restaurant and bar. Room 101 and 102 have less good views as at side of building.

Room was really warm!!! Too much for me, but ok for my wife. Room 101 and 102 have less good views as at side of building.

Great location and views, staff friendly and helpful. Room size big.

The room smelt damp, the bedding smelt damp too, had to find a pillow that didn’t small to get to sleep, disappointed no fridge or kettle available.

The location is great. Close to everything there is if you have a car handy. It is at the last bend of the Alp d’Huez climb if you are a cyclist. Awesome and helpful staff and speak better English than me.

The breakfast is order form but everything is there albeit basic in hotel level. The corridor is a bit dated and the elevator is kind of small. Prepare to walk. The room is sufficient and the TV is kind of small. BUT you will be looking at the view outside the balcony rather than the TV

    Location

Parking spots very limitedBed not very comfy Worst part is that I paid 3 nights and I stayed 2 nights only. The night could not be refunded, however, they charged me for the dinner I had there fully without any discounts even though they knew I gifted them a day which they could be well sell to somebody else and I did not use it. Not fair.

The location, friendliness of the staff, warm atmosphere, simplicity and practicality. 3 minutes walk for the office of tourism and the main free lift that takes to the intersection of EFS slopes.

Good sized rooms, great views. Nice hotel

Not much - bit of a walk into town but no complaints

    8JosiePosted on: 3-31-2024

The hotel overall was excellent. The room is cosy, with a great view of the valley. The bathroom is lovely, and there’s lots of storage even though the room is small. The breakfast was great, lots of options and a lovely view whilst eating it too. The bar was a good place to relax (if you don’t mind a few kids). The location is amazing, so easy to virtually ski in and out of and five mins to good restaurants etc.

Only two things, but I hope helpful feedback. 1) there were never any bowls available when we went for breakfast. It was as though the early ski school rush took them all and they couldn’t clear and clean them in time. Buy more? It was annoying having to wait. 2) The ski hire is very convenient, but if you’re looking for quality skis and the right ones for your ability, go elsewhere. The guy didn’t ask us a single question about our skiing level, and gave me skis that were far too small for me, were on the wrong din setting and definitely not serviced. I ended up handing them back and going to Intersport which was great. It was concerning that there was so little care taken to give us the right skis. Not something you want to get wrong.
