- The bathroom and bedrooms could have been larger relative to the price we paid. Some fences on the balcony were broken. No water was provided in the room.

The location and traditional French breakfast were excellent. The lodge is conveniently located on the main street of Courchevel, making it easily accessible. However, the rooms are outdated, featuring stained walls and carpets, broken door handles, and a strong chemical odor. One small heater is insufficient to keep the room warm at night when temperatures drop, and an additional working heater was only provided the following day. Overall, the lodge feels overpriced for a ** star establishment, considering the condition of the room and the level of service. Parking is nearby at €15 per night.
THE LOCATION. This is a great little gem in the otherwise vast expanse of over-indulgence that is Courchevel. It is nestled in a fantastic location: a 5 minute walk from all the important places at 1850: the ground transportation hub, bus depot, the super swanky shopping area, the ski hub (La Croissete, where there are several lifts, ski rental, lift tickets, ski instruction, and great outdoor cafes where you can watch the action on the slopes).THE AMAZING STAFF. They are really devoted to taking care of the guest. Their super friendly helpfulness and attention to detail is unparalleled, from the wide variety of room amenities provided, the superb linens, the comfortable bed, the snacks and coffee in the room to the overall cleanliness. The excellent free breakfast, and the cozy bar where you won’t pay the typical exorbitant Courchevel 1850 prices.
Not enough English channels on the TV.
Great location, friendly and welcoming staff
Heating not working, hotel provided an electric radiator. Internet very very slow
Breakfast was great and fresh everyday. Cosy place to have breakfast and nice friendly people.
Everything was great, very nice and friendly staff - very helpful, and the location was amazing. 5 minute walk to all the popular restaurants and places, and 5 minute walk to the ski lift.

The lokatıon
The room as very cold and there was no elevator also there vas no wardrobe !!! İn room
Excellent location (good restaurants nearby and short walk to lifts) , lovely helpful staff, nice bar.
The place was exactly how it was described we were not expecting a 5 star experience for the excellent price in such an expensive location.
Location of hotel couldn’t be better! Lovely breakfast Hotel only 2-3min walk from ski lift and nearest ski rental shop.
No elevator difficult in catting bags
No help
Fantastic location, Family room was functional, bathroom was clean and looked like it was recently refurbished, staff were very helpful, parking available in nearby carpark, less than a 5min walk to the main lift/ski school area.
Facilities were limited
Honestly from the reviews i was expecting something horrible but it was not bad. The staff were very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. My stay was pretty good actually!
I recently stayed at Madame VacanVES , and it was a delightful experience. The hotel boasts a breathtaking view, making every moment truly memorable. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect blend of luxury, stunning scenery, and top-notch service.

The hotel was in a fantastic location literally 100m from the slopes. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The WiFi coverage was very good in the room.Value for money - it would be very difficult to find as much bang for your buck anywhere near to this hotel.
I had read previously read comments regarding noise at night from a local club, our room was directly opposite that establishment and we experienced no issues at all. It is a small and very busy town so ultimately some level of noise should be expected.
The localisation
It was not worth for the price the bed got a weird smell , was not clean , breakfast is not so rich.
The location was perfect. The rooms were spacious and cozy, new bathrooms, coffee machine.
Before arrival, I got approximately 10 emails from the hotel but none of them informed me that on the day of our arrival the reception will be closed since 12h till 16pm, so after a long, long trip we had to wait for almost three hours in the bar around the corner, not knowing what to do with our luggage, ski gear, car etc They did leave an “emergency phone number” but the girl practically just told us to wait.I really do not understand why it was so difficult to share this info with us a day before the arrival. Or even on the same day, that would help us to organize differently.Housekeeping was a mess. One day they forgot to lock our room, another day they left our terrace door open, one day they would leave bottles with water for us, another day no, one day we were even left without an additional toilet paper roll. One day they would come to do the cleaning while we were having breakfast, another day so late in the afternoon, while we were taking showers or relaxing after skiing. The breakfast was very basic every single day and for the amount of money we payed for our two rooms per day we rightfully expected more.
The bar was an excellent place for breakfast and an early evening drink. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, in particular Lucille who shared her local knowledge about restaurants and the best lift to access the slopes which really added to our enjoyment.
The ski room is a bit glum! Also we had a room at the back of the building. Very comfortable but the view onto the bleak wall opposite spoiled the ambiance - a voile curtain to disguise the view and add to a sense of luxury in the room would be a welcome addition.
Great location close to slopes. Helpful and Friendly staff. Rooms recently refurbished and in good condition.
