    Very Good

    Pros +

    • Big hotel with a lot of facilities, nice spa. Especially after long days on slopes. Breakfast was really good. Everything you need is available at the hotel (ski pass, ski shop, ski maintenance, transfer, parking). View from our room (5 floor) was stunning
    • Breakfast was ok, nothing extraordinary. Location, staff, room size were good
    • Good location, lounges were clean, rest of hotel not as well kept as photos appear

    Cons -

    • Several areas require renovation. The heater in the room wad quite old and smelly. Parking was pricey (about 22 euros per day)
    • Restaurants' service did not match my expectations
    • Sometimes directions for parking and elevators were not always clear.

I don’t think they had enough staff or if they did, they weren’t working well enough. Constantly saw empty glasses and plates everywhere, taking ages to clear things up. I was bitten in bed three times and housekeeping didn’t clean the room, they made the bed and that was it. The dust on the phone in the room showed it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. For the price, it was disappointing.

Breakfast was only ok. Need more hot food choice.

Having to walk a little distance when your boot room is in the A part of the hotel.

    Breakfast was fine.

We booked ski school through the hotel. We booked and then cancelled lunch for our kids as it was poor and the cancellation was confirmed by both the hotel and ski school, however I had to pay the bill upon checkout that included the lunch charge as nobody in the ski school was available to query it. I send 2 follow up emails and phoned a couple of times, but the hotel have still not come back to me with a refund - of €364 so not insignificant.

Breakfast very good and half-board deal very good too.

Some parts of the wooden structures and surfaces in the 4 star hotel could use some refurbishing, especially in the spa area. The spa area could also be scheduled for refurbishment, especially the jacuzzi. An outside jacuzzi could be envisaged. Finally, finding a parking spot can be challenging, even though parking was paid.

Location is excellent but ski in/ski out not possible for beginners. The spa area is a welcome treat after a day on the slopes.

As returning guests it is sad to see the quality has declined significantly following the change in ownership a few years ago. Whereas the food used to be excellent, it is now little more than adequate. The soup served at dinner in Les Chanterelles is no longer fine cuisine but a thick purée of the cheapest vegetables - carrot, pumpkin, cauliflower or mixed vegetable - and, as other reviews have said, the main dishes, whilst tasty were often served almost cold. Choice for main dishes is limited to meat or fish, with no vegetarian possibility offered. Individual staff members were lovely, others are clearly just doing their job and at times I felt I was just a number. In the past, returning guests received additional toiletries or a sweet treat, but sadly no longer . If you eat in the restaurant serving Savoie specialities there is little choice for half board customers who do not want to share raclette/fondue unless you are prepared to pay full menu prices.

Great value for money - fabulous half board restaurants & kids loved to pool Comfort family rooms , are a little ‘cozy’ but great value and worked well with x2 teenage boys!

    6NataliePosted on: 2-24-2025

The ski in/ski out location of the hotel is great. Worked well for ski school drop off. Dinner at Chaumerie and Le Gourmet were great! Staff were super friendly.

The hotel is dated and we struggle to see how it is rated 4 star. We stayed in a duplex suite which was dark and stairs were so narrow and steep. Horrible smell in the bathroom and the jacuzzi bath lasts 5 mins. Gave up trying to use the sauna. The hotel spa and swimming pool weren’t great- water was so cold. Ski bootroom is carnage. Breakfast is chaotic after 8.30. For these reasons, we wouldn’t stay in this hotel again, especially given the amount we paid.

The location is truly superb and made for a very relaxing holiday. Dropping off our daughter for her lessons was easy and took pressure off the morning / afternoon rush. The staff were also fabulous. Sweet and accommodating. We liked the versatility of being able to visit different restaurants , especially la Chaumière is fabulous.

The cleanliness and breakfast were a bit disappointing. I dusted our room upon arrival and removed some stains / hairs. The communal areas and staircases were a bit yuk. I also would have appreciated more fresh produce at the breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs not fresh, boil own eggs and other than cucumber/tomatoes no salads.

Location was amazing. Pool and spa were great, and the staff were very patient even when there were too many people using the spa and pool. Very professional. Food was excellent.

It was a bit complicated to have to book dinners ahead of time at one of the four restaurant. On the other hand it was good to have choices.

    3FarukPosted on: 1-25-2025

Location and the restaurant which is outside of the hotel, but hotel own it, so you can have your half board diner there

Spa is very bad, the stuff is unpleasant, breakfast is bad

    7JozefPosted on: 1-15-2025

    Good

The room wasn't as clean as expected, the bild frame was dusty in the line can be seen, I didnt want to check it on the top, we found a long black hair in the bathtub. The cold crept along the floor throughout the entire room due to a very very poorly insulated balcony window. (Outside temperature at night -15°C, day -5°C) Room number 309. The wall by the bunk beds is so cold that you keep pushing away from it all night and end up hitting the ladder instead.

The property was in the vicinity of the slopes. It was really good positioned there off. The staff was very kind and eager to fulfill our requests whenever possible. The Breakfast was really versatile.

The facility was not as spacious as we saw on booking, contrary to our expectations. My daughter who is 16 slept in a really small bad and didn’t have any sunlight during the day whatsoever. Her “bedroom” turned out to be a hallway that leads to master bedroom. Honestly we expected more taking into consideration the amount of money we paid. When it comes to money as well i have to mention that the half board which was included in our price was anything but. All the drinks for the second meal (dinner) were additional payment as was the food which was not included in half board menu. Additionally the half board menu did not have a variety of choices.

The most fantastic location! Wonderful skiing and loved the pool!

Although we paid for half board, only 1 restaurant was open. This was a pity. It was also unnecessary to ask for money for the pool machine. Rather include in the room so the kids can play without hassling for cash

    9ShizukaPosted on: 12-15-2024

Twice, staff showed me individualized attention, unsolicited! I was amazed of the attentiveness. “Oh, you want some soya milk? I can warm it for you!”, “are you looking for water? We’ve put it away but let me get you some” busy staff running a large organization did not forget to give heart warming very appreciated attention. It made all the difference. Thank you for your hospitality.

Dinner was incredible ?Staff very nice, rooms great ?

Breakfast wasn’t very good sorry basic and not very nice. Hotel needs a bigger hot tub.

    10MatthewPosted on: 9-16-2024

Lovely room and a Pool with a mountain view. friendly staff.

Breakfast was a little lacking. Catering staff seemed to struggle keeping up with demand, we ended up losing hope for Bacon and pancakes! also no Hot Chocolate, when you pay a premium for breakfast you expect the basics.
