    Pros +

    • The hotel was just what we were looking for, friendly staff, large rooms, good parking and a lovely breakfast.
    • The staff were lovely, the room was a great size and was kept very clean. I really liked having a balcony and the view was great. Location wise, it was close enough - 10 or so minutes from gondola.
    • Nice breakfast would have liked the option of prepared fresh fruit and flat white or cappuccino coffee.

    Cons -

    • The walls are very thin, you can hear absolutely everything that goes on next door. Unfortunately, there was a young group of lads in the room next door to me, that were up laughing and shouting till around 3am. I didn’t get much sleep. I tried to call reception but there was no answer. The walk back to the hotel is also up a pretty steep hill, so it can be tiring carrying your skis at the end of the day.
    • Having to drag my heavy bag up to the top floor, using 5 flights of stairs.
    • Sadly not ski in ski out due to poor snow conditions

It was very friendly. The breakfasts were really good with a wide variety of food. We didn’t have an evening meal but the other guests said the food was really really good. The rooms were lovely. Great views and really comfy bed. The walk into Morzine is about 10 mins. Most ski shops allow you to store your rental stuff at their shop overnight so there is no lugging it about.

Nothing. If we’re ever in Morzine I will try to come back.

Super super nice people. Good location, with a nice (small) pool

Pool is only open after 1600

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel shuttle to ski lift was really handy, and breakfast was great. Very good value for money.

Unfortunately our bed wasn't very comfortable and the room didn't have much light.

    Family run and friendly

room was a little dated and slight smell of damp

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly nothingWas too much trouble.

Bed was 2 together and one was slightly higher than the other which made it a little uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful breakfast the next morning. The family who own and run their hotel are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We were visiting Morzine with our van and had trouble contacting a mechanic, and the owners went above and beyond to help us. Would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

    Never again.

Check your credit card statement! Property took payment twice. Still not repaid full amount of fraudulent transaction taken in February. No apology and booking.com seemingly uninterested to resolve this. Lots of time spent trying to resolve. Very disappointed booking.com customer.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very friendly staff. Family run. Always attentive. They transfered us in the morning to the avoriaz bubble and picked us up at night.Breakfast was first class.Whole family were very polite and had a great sense of humour.Quiet well furnished rooms, good powerful shower.Good ski and boot room downstairs.7 min walk to centre of morzine.Didn't try the pool but looked nice. Pizza very good! Will definitely be back.

Nothing... A great stay in a great hotel with great staff

    It was in Morzine

Boot room wasn’t warmed, wet boots still in the morning. Bar menu had 4 pizza options, only 2 were available.Indoor/outdoor pool, but not heated. Pointless and unused in the cold environment. One of the reasons we chose this hotel over others and very disappointed by the cold pool.

Breakfast was very good. The room was cosy and comfortable. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Pleny lift which was fine. The lounge area of the hotel is nice and relaxing.

I had booked a twin room. I had, had confirmation of that from the hotel as per the photo attached, but when we arrived the room had been made up as a double. I went down to ask if the room could be changed over to a twin. The hotel manager (I think the daughter of the family who run the hotel) said that housekeeping weren't around so I asked if anyone else could do it. At first she said 'no' as it wasn't her job to do it and that I clearly didn't request a twin room. She got very abrasive very quickly. Eventually she said she would make the change herself. She continued to say that I clearly had not requested a twin room. There was lots of banging and crashing around whilst she got the new bedding out so my friend and I went out!

    Well run family hotel

Short up hill walk at the end of the day but you can get buses for that.

    8GillPosted on: 2-16-2024

Excellent breakfast. I was with my family who had an apartment in the town so I spent little time in the hotel and did not use the facilities. If the swimming poll had been warmer I might have used this. The times of the shuttle bus were not obvious except the limits so I walked to and from the lifts.

Actual times of bus not shown

Centrally located hotel, family ran hotel who were very welcoming. Provided a shuttle mini bus up to the cable car to Avoriaz. Very good breakfast.

Small double bedroom with small en-suite.

The staff make this hotel, the family are so friendly and welcoming. Very relaxed stay due to their humour and happiness. They are the reason why you would stay here, so rare to find these days especially in larger hotels with under paid transient staff, here you have a family who love their hotel and their work. They make you feel so at home and nothing is too much trouble. Beware of the son in the bar, great humour and generous measures!

Lovely friendly hotel. Good breakfast and accommodating hosts. Lovely bar and restaurant area.

Some of the bedrooms are a little tired but have all that you need to be comfortable.
