Pros +
- As capsule hotels go it was quite good. It seems like everything was new, it was clean, modern and comfortable.
- Very near local Funabashi Station, easy to find, clean, safe and pleasant. Straightforward checkin/out with nice size lockers for bag storage and clean showers.
- The location to Disney is great. It’s also a super quick walk from the station when you’re tired after a long day at the park or hustling to the morning train. Lawsons like a block over, very convenient. Staff was great, attentive and patient.
Cons -
- Really not much.
- Nothing stood out as lacking.
- I stayed at another Leo Yu, and this one seemed slightly more run down, more tape covering things in the bathroom, more mildew growth on ceilings and walls, my capsule was full of all kinds of body hair and dirt where the thin mattress didn’t quite reach the door curtain. The smell in the sleeping room was also the worst of any shared sleeping room I’ve stayed in in Japan, like mildew and wet gym socks. It was quite stuffy and hard to sleep the first night, better the second two nights (and this was at the end of September, I’m sure peak summer gets pretty rough). The bathrooms were dirty, but that also depends on who is staying at the same time you’re there and how much they respect shared spaces. I saw a lot of hair and piles of trash left behind in shower spaces. Made me feel kind of grossed out.

Clean, convenient and super quiet and comfortable!
The capsule area was the widest I’ve seen, plenty of room and very quiet , I slept great here. The bathrooms were also very clean.
I like the location of the place and the staff. They are kind.
However, unfortunately, during my stay, a small fire accident happened, and I needed to wake up as early as 5 am. It's not the hotel staff fault but I hope people will be more aware of what they can do and do not during their stay in capsule hotel. Also, the price is a bit higher than the other capsule hotel.
The ladies room was clean, it was affordable, accessible and it has everything you need. I would book here again. I liked the superior capsule room. You have more privacy and there are two restrooms for 4 people.
The bed bas a bit hard
Very organized and great amenities and shower were great even pjs and curling irons
Not talking was a bit tough
Cheap and simple
Capsule was a bit too hot for me
Close to the station and easy to find. Facilities were clean and liked that guests received their own locker, towels, and pj's. Showers had shampoo and soap while the bathrooms had hair dryers. There's even individual steam rooms and washer+dryer.
Keep in mind that since it is a capsule hotel, walls are thin so bring earplugs. I do wish the light switches for the capsules were by the entrance so you don't have to crawl all the way inside to turn the light on.
Bad
My initial reservation was between 16th - 17th September but I was so impressed by the hotel that I extended my reservation as soon as I arrived. Upon my return the following night, I was unable to check-in due to the contactless payment methods I had to hand which were not accepted by the hotel. Understandably, the hotel advised that cash and card were the only payment methods they accepted; however, the lack of consideration and discourteousness from the Receptionist during this time was reprehensible. After attempting to submit payment via Apple Pay and Suica, I was crassly advised by the Receptionist that the hotel was unable to accept any guests who were unable to pay upfront. I was not expecting to be granted access to the guesthouse without making payment; however, my request to speak to a manager was denied. With consideration to the late hour I was checking in, I also enquired whether it were possible to submit payment using my card details via phone or by transferring the balance directly to a bank account; requests which were refused by the Receptionist with no further explanation. Throughout this entire process at the front desk, the Receptionist was unprofessional enough to keep breaking away from our exchange to deal with other guests which I understood as her disinterest in assisting me. After a final, failed attempt to make payment via a Chinese payment app, the Receptionist used a translation device to ask me to find another hotel. Not only was this ill-mannered on her part and embarrassing in front of other guests, I was bemused at her complete lack of empathy for the fact that it was past midnight and, as a tourist with no knowledge of the area, she was willing to dismiss me from the premises with no regard for the potential safety risks as a female travelling alone. My experience at LEO Capsule Hotel was very good on first impression but this incident involving a member of staff has been extremely disappointing.
Clean, neat, efficient. There is a laundry and dryer machine too.
The locker is a bit small.
Staff were very friendly, nice and clean and tidy too with modern up to date facilities and even micro saunas
Another washing machine would be nice, if one person is using it then no one else can, but it's a very minor detail that normally isn't a problem!
cleanliness and proximity to the station and restaurants .
snoring neighbors . and thin mattress
Staff was pretty friendly, helpful with any questions you had. facilitaties were always clean and well kept, bedding was comfortable in the VIP rooms
It was a quiet place. They had individual showers. Also, beer and drinks are available for purchases.
Good price to stay for a short time. Facilities were all provided and the location is quite easy to find.
If we get the bed on the upper side, it is quite hard to "climb up". The mattress is not the most comfortable bed too, but at least it's enough to have a rest.
The place is near at the station.
The noise of the other stayers.you cant sleep well because the sound proofing of the room is bad.you to use headset for you to sleep.
Great value for money, the location by the Station. Not quite centre of Tokyo bud excellent transport options Subway and JR
clean with great amenities. separated male and female areas
other guests were loud (snoring, talking at 5am) and it’s very easy to be unable to sleep/woken up. also the lights never dimmed, it was extremely bright for me
