- Rooms on small side, breakfast pricy.
- Frankly, some of the staff are not friendly at all, especially the women. Their smiles often feel forced or fake. Something easily noticeable to anyone attentive to human behavior.Additionally, the major issue found all over Armenia, which is the constant language barrier. My honest advice to management... invest in proper hospitality training for the staff, not just in surface etiquette but in genuine communication skills. A real smile can’t be taught by scripts.Genuine smile and sincere interaction leave a far stronger impression than formality without warmth.

The place is calm and cozy, and you can truly feel the scent of history all around. The cleanliness is remarkable, it seems they take “ultimate cleaning” seriously, as everything was exceptionally spotless. I really enjoyed my holiday here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Armenia who’s looking for a clean, comfortable stay with delicious food.

Very good location- in the center, working distance from everything, there are a lot of good restaurants around.Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Room was big and clean, but еhe windows faced the courtyard right next to the air conditioning units. they were terribly noisy. It was hot in the room, but it was impossible to sleep with the windows open because of the noise.
Perfect location, clean room, delicious breakfast.
Noisy at night (not all the time) since there are a lot of cafes with loud music. The bathroom (the washing tub) was not perfectly white as it should be
excellent Location clean roomfriendly staff
Great hotel with everything you need available. The staff are helpful with all questions. The swimming pool is always a nice addition. The hotel is a good location and most things you want is a walking distance.
The AC was horrible and asked them to fix it multiple times but it was still bad.The elevator is extremely slow.
Great Service, Location, facilities, Breakfast, Room and Value for money! Highly recommended.
Location .nice small gym. And rooftop pool.
I asked for a higher floor room did not get it.I was on the second floor, facing the courtyard too noisy.
Location, friendly staff
I had booked a twin room, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that no twin rooms were available. Instead, I was given a room with a king-size bed and an extra bed, which was not comfortable
Location was perfect. Staff was very helpful
It was expensive according to the service quality
Location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast
Location is perfect and any part of the Ciry Center is within walking distance. The foyer is quite grand with a lively bar and live music in the evening, piano and violin and during the day a nice place to just relax or do some work, the hotel restaurant has a good menu and the food standards are very good. The breakfast has something for everyone and they have a very good a la carte breakfast menu if you wanted something a little more special. The gym is not massive but adequate for purpose, and the Spa is also equipped with a big enough steam room and sauna for a few people with a small jacuzzi and a few beds to relax.
We booked the grand suite which is a very good size but ran into problems with some of the electric switches not working issues with a few things in the bathroom that needed fixing and instead of putting through maintenance people disturbing our stay a whole entourage of staff came and took us to the Presidential Suite and moved all our belongings with no fuss at all! That was amazing and a wonderful treat! No words can describe the warm hospitality we received. Thank you!
Location, good breakfast
the bathroom requires a refreshing renovation
This is an amazing hotel. Excellent service, fascinating history, great food and wine, and beautiful interiors. I would definitely stay there again!
Location is excellent. Staff is very helpful. Hotel is luxurious.
Room is a little tired, especially bath. 5 star hotel needs a indoor swimming pool but unfortunately there is not.
The only thing I like is the location. You can quickly reach any scenic spot you want to visit in the old town.
The cleaning of the room was very, very perfunctory, and no bottled water was provided for two out of three days. The hotel settings are very old, the shower facilities are extremely difficult to use, towels and other items are very damaged or even partially damaged. There are always a lot of them around this hotel. A four-star hotel is far better than this so-called "five-star hotel" in terms of service and hotel facilities.
The location was great. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very helpful.
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Grand. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The Hotel is located in downtown Yerevan, within walking distance to prime locations, bars, restaurants and cafes. My room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good - the food was pretty much the same every day, but tasty. I used the gym once - small, but well equipped with brand new machines.
I stayed in a room on the fifth floor and could smell polluted air coming from outside through the A/C. The shower also needs urgent renovation - the shower head seemed stuffed with calcium and sprayed water in all directions. The shower faucet was also loose and I sometimes struggled to turn the water off completely. As regards breakfast, it's such a pity that the traditional Armenian lavash was dry as a bone during breakfast - the first one I took clearly wasn't fresh as it was completely crunchy. Other loafs of bread also seemed to have been baked at least one day before and left out to dry... Hard to explain at a 5 star hotel.
