Kantar Hotel

It has an amazing atmosphere and a great location, with excellent staff.

In my opinion, it would be better to make breakfast optional and provide some basic cooking equipment for the guests.

breakfast could be better like past. its been 2 years ive been taking Kantar as my accomoadation but the breakfast quality could be better a littw.

Staffs are very accommodating Clean place and accessible for everything. Walking distance to Republic Square.

I had bad experienced with some guest in the female dormitory good for four.

Spacious rooms, and really nice staff.

Definitely weird hostel vibes since it’s a hostel on one floor but a hotel on all the other floors and they both share common spaces. I was able to meet other travelers in my dorm, but it wasn’t so easy in the common spaces to do so. Also, some of the beds in the dorm were nice and new and others were thin with the springs pushing through. I unfortunately ended up with one of the latter, which made sleeping very uncomfortable.

The rooms are clean , the hotel is well heated. The breakfast is excellent and the stuff are helpful and lovely.

On your arrival when you don’t have a key to the elevator, you sometime need to walk seven floors up in order to check in.Once you’re a guest, you get the chip for the elevator and it is very good

The female employee at the morning shift counter wasn't very friendly and needs improvement.

The cleaning staff were working diligently, but the toilet had a foul odor because of the old pipes.

This was my worst experience from 7 years of travel!!We were abrupted in the early morning and were told we must leave the place..we thought they were mistaken or joking and we didnt understand what happened …but they were serious and the reason is we were “accused” of having a romantic moment on the balcony (which is not even true) and its against the armenian norms. There was a girl i was traveling with and we were on the balcony 1am dark empty and alone…suddenly she recieved very bad news and she started crying…i started calming her hugging her and telling her that everything will be ok.Suddenly 10 mins later one staff came and screamed that this is not allowed and he saw us in the camera…altho we felt monitored and our privacy is invaded aggressively but we still understood apologized and said we will not do it again.Next day we were suddenly abrupted in the early morning and told u guys must leave the property because of what u did on the balcony…we tried to solve the issue peacefully and apologize cuz we didnt want to resort to leaving a bad review and raising about this issue.But instead when we talked to the manager he was screaming and shaming us and embarassing us in front of all the other staff instead of keeping the secrecy and professionalism and protecting us and we felt we were dehumanized belittled and disrespected.We felt unsafe and shamed so we felt the urge to leave the place and above all problems we r experiencing..we still had to packour luggage and carry it on her back move somewhere else.More than that the staff were very rude and unprofessional they kept moving us between beds and lockers during the stay saying “your bed will be occupied by someone else, u must move now and we don’t care if u r in a hurry to go out”.There is no any tolerance towards guests from other countries and cultures and we feel like people has the right to know before booking this hostel! Pls stay away

They charged my card twice, and were unable to make a refund in any other way except just giving the money in cash.Very weird.

everything in hostel was perfect such as clearness of bathrooms and roomsbreakfast was perfect actually loved it .location was a great advantage for this place i liked it having a faucet beside the toilet very hygienic

this isn't about the hostel but i should mention it that some guests weren't quiet and i didn't have a good sleep cause of hearing snoring ? all night long . if you snore at sleep and you want to be in hostel for god and yourself sake get some medication.

Amazing stay. Delicious breakfast, comfortable place to work. I can spend all day in the hostel (and I did). Everywhere is spotless. Perfect location as well.

Loved my stay at Kantar Hostel! The place is clean, cozy, and right in the center of Yerevan. The staff are super nice and always ready to help. Great vibe and tasty breakfast — I’d happily come back!

Great location in the city center, very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend Kantar Hostel for anyone visiting Yerevan!

Maybe too few toilets and showers in the girl's bathroom.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast was sufficient and delicious. Kantar was a place where I met many friends.

Sometimes the bins in the bathroom and toilet were not emptied and were full of dirty towels.

Staff, breakfast and atmosphere were all excellent

The amount of people that live there long term and use it as their remote office is kinda strange for a hostel.

Staff were very responsive and tried to make you comfortable as much as they could.

It would be nice to have soup or meat, beans, or fish as part of the breakfast. But they tried with the spread.

It’s very well situated in terms of main tourist attractions. Beds are super comfortable. There is a large common zone for working. Breakfast was included in the booking and was delicious!

Great location as it was VERY close to many things in town. Twenty minutes north is the opera and Cascades, but about ten minutes in the same direction is the history museum and Republic Square. In the other direction is an outdoor gym PERFECT for getting your swole on! Limited machines, but plenty of parkour training options and punching tire stack. This city itself has drinking fountains everywhere with cold, clean drinking water! Back to the hostel, lol- the beds are clean and comfortable, the tea is free 24/7 and the coffee is free during breakfast! Breakfast could be it's own paragraph- where to start!? You've got eggs that come in three varieties- scrambled, sunny side-up and boiled. There's usually a second main dish such as grisha or rice. Plenty of side options with leafy green salad, various cheeses including cottage, coffee, juice, tea, granola, yoghurt, raisins, walnuts, various kind or preserved meats.There's a dedicated workspace which I'm currently using to type this review with beanbags and various seating options.Dope music all the time, no disrespect to Bob Marley, but I feel that some hostels and coffee shops overdo it on Bob Marley. Kantar, true to her name, has a good mix of music to hear at all times.

Hmm... I'm honestly tryna think of something the hostel could actually improve about itself. Certain things in the kitchen are only for use during breakfast, like juice glasses and are kept under lock and key until breakfast commences.

Everything! Breakfast, common area, working area, reception, beds, lockers.. everything was great!
