East West Motel Ceduna

Bedding clean, Restaurant great

The room was dirty across multiple surfaces and had a strong musty smell. There was no hot water in the shower, which was particularly unpleasant as we were attending a funeral. Not all power points were working, there was only one light for the entire room, and the TV only had LG channels with no local stations available. The family room kitchenette was poorly set up and felt very cramped, and the beds were extremely low and uncomfortable.I contacted the motel directly before writing this review to provide feedback but did not receive a response.

Location and silent air conditioning

TV not working on room 35 and found a live cockroach at the sink

Pool, air conditioner and price

More options for dinner at the restaurant but it is good to have the restaurant so close

Easy to book and check in. The staff were friendly, and the place was perfect for my team size.

NA

Easy arrival and check-in. Car parking was secure. Comfortable for the one night stay.

Nothing - the short stay was enjoyable

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the bed linen and towels are quite dirty and have yellow stains. Also, the bedside lamp switch is broken.

Friendly and polite reception staff

Food was over over priced for its poor quality… I tiny fish for fish and chips at $28/ vegetable curry consisted of frozen mixed vegies boiled in a curry gravy(??) at $28 - some of the peas not even thawed completely…

We felt safe and secure. Rooms were relatively clean.

Apparently the Internet was down at check-in, so I was asked to write down my credit details on a piece of paper (breach of the Privacy Act). Our room had mould and visible termite damage. Shower screen was badly cracked. WiFi was essentially unusable. Beds had little support and lacked structural integrity. Rooms are very outdated and need updating (and maintenance). Toaster was provided, but no crockery/cutlery was supplied. The rooms really need to be gutted and renovated.

Continental breakfast and friendly staff.

Bit old and tired. No cutlery to use if you cooked in the microwave.

The property was basic but clean and quiet. The complex had security gate closed at night for safety of vehicles.

Good location, nice staff, offers some cereals and coffee included in the price. Bathroom was clean.

One of the pillowcases looked that hadn’t been washed and it had stains and wrinkles. The bathroom sink is separated from the toilet, and it was dripping non stop which made it quite annoying for our sleep. The single bed was sinking, we had to turn the head down to the other side.

Friendly staff and focus on security in the evening.

It’s incredible dated and many areas of it and unkempt.

Easy to find. Car parking was good.

There was someone else’s face wash all over the tiles, as well as dirty marks all through the bathroom.

Location was good

The shower was disgusting and not clean at all And the other shower had no hot water

Room was very clean, bright and airy, but felt cozy and was well maintained. Facilities in the room were great, even had a microwave! The bed was very comfy, the breakfast was continental which suited me perfectly. Finally my interaction with the guy on reception was great. He was very competent and helpful. He even walked around the grounds with me to find a suitable place to park as I had a trailer with me.

Had to stop over Easter because of car trouble. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Dinner at the motel restaurant was excellent.

Location and car parking

Garbage from the previous guest and the bathroom was too old and not look like properly cleaned. The breakfast was just coffee, toasts and cereals.

Comfortable bed so good for a stopover sleep

Needs updating in particular higher shower heads

Handy for us but old and run down

Had to change room due to bad housekeeping

Free breakfast

The room smelt musty from the obvious water leak from shower alcove seeping into the main room. The room needs a total renovation. They need to learn how to make a bed.
