Windtown Lagoon Hotel

Location is central.

The light was right at our room, and the curtains are nog blacked out on the contrary quite see-through. So we couldnt sleep properly with light shining into our room every night. Without blackout curtains any type of morning light comes straight into the room.Walls are very thin-can hear anything from your next door in your room.

The staff is super friendly, the rooms are amazing and the breakfust is delicious. Special mention of Lauren’s excellent skills in the spa part of the hotel! She works pute magic.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good value, and very high quality.

Internet connectivity didn't work for us.

The hotel has a great location, comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfasts. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was very spacious. Liked the layout. Bed very big and comfy.

We were on the groundfloor, so when you sit outside you are in full view of everyone walking past.

Staff members are welcoming and friendly.

The swimming pool was not heated,we could not swim in the evening.

Windtown exceeded our expectations!!! It was clean, modern, convenient and most of all the staff were so friendly. The breakfast was delicious and great having a pool on site. Everything is in walking distance.

It was our second times at Windtown and we‘d be happy to come back again. We love the location so close to the sea. Also very much enjoyed the pool area and restaurant.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The staff on check-in were fantastic, and went beyond accommodating. We explained to Lana that we would not be having breakfast on the first morning due to a race we were running, and we were immediately and totally unexpectedly offered an alternative, which started our stay in the most amazing way. The staff throughout our stay were incredibly friendly and helpful, and kudos to all of them. Our room was beyond our expectations, and we had a fantastic stay.

To be perfectly honest, nothing could have been better. It was simply a perfect stay.

Great location and restaurant

No staff on site after 9pm. No phone in rooms. Unable to find security they said was there. No answer to after hours emergency number. Constant load shedding meant we had to sleep with the door open as their are no windows in the front of the unit and the AC didn't work. All this left us feeling unsafe so we left a few days earlier than planned.
