Pros +
- The cove and breakfast options.
- Property was clean and spacious
- The staff were very nice. Smiling and tried the help the most.
Cons -
- The shower was full of rust and the walls are paper thin.
- Not very new, in some areas a bit old:tile in the bathroom, mirror was cracked, door unglued, TV didn’t have Netflix and internet access.
- The water is salty in the rooms and even the water dispensers at the bar are salty water. We had to buy water bottles to have a proper shower. The rooms are not very clean, there was a big yellow mark in our shower and towels had makeup marks from other people. I think they don't wash them well enough. The beach looks amazing on the photos but in reality its a dirty pond with so many kids. Also at night people were singing and talking loudly at the beach so we had to call security almost every night. The buffet is mid, and we realized that the rice and pasta are leftovers reheated and dont taste very good. At the "gastronomical" restaurant they served us cake that tasted like the cheapest cake you can buy from lidl. There aren't enough elevators and you have to wait quite a while to get the elevator and the elevators are dirty.

Room was spacious and clean. Location was great.
Food and drinks could be better.
The room was big (we got one of the suites so it was supposed to be bigger for the price you pay anyway)The Location was good, close to major beaches in the area and had its on beach in front of the hotel
We paid for half board but it doesn't include drinks (like sodas) and although they have 5 restaurants we could only eat in the main one which was pretty disappointing. So we paid for that and did not even eat in the hotel in the end. Something that by the way should have been mentioned when we booked. It said half board (breakfast and dinner) however only when we got there they let us know the dinner was only for one of the restaurants (very different experience from what I have had from different Hyatt Hotels in the past, whenever i go to hotels that have multiple restaurants i want to have variety thats why im paying extra, otherwise i would just not get the meal package, and not to mention it was not even clear anywhere which i think its absurd)
I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my mum. Unfortunately we were both quite disappointed with the hotel. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and our room was ready ahead of time. The room itself was perfect despite being opposite a very noisy hotel. Bring earplugs! The food at the hotel really was not good. Dinner seemed a real mix of foods and nothing seemed to go together. One evening we went to one of the a la carte restaurants and we were not impressed by the very limited menu.Best advice would be to head out for dinner! We went to Cala D’or one evening and also ate at Tony’s on the Cala Egos high street which was delicious. Highly recommend. The hotel pools were very busy - one had loud music most of the day and the other the sunbeds were packed in pretty much one on top of the other. If you want a sunbed round either of these pools be prepared to be up and racing to the beds before 8am. We did not want to do this…so instead opted to go to the terrace area just past one of the pools where it was a lot quieter and no morning sunbed race required.Although the area was beautiful I feel like this hotel was not as good as the reviews I had read and I wouldn’t go back.
Easy to park in front, food was good. Overall well balanced choice.
A bit far from the center. The beach is nice to look at but definitely is far from the best beach in the area.
We liked that it was clean.
The buffet was mediocre, it was a little chaotic when we arrived and during meals, the music was too loud and there was not enough space/chairs near the pools. People would stash their towels to save a seat and not be there.
We loved that the hotel was well situated and that you had a public beach just beside.
We opted for the half board. The food was buffet all inclusive style. We did not like the food. It was not to our liking. Also the rooms smell like humidity. The air conditioning doesn’t work well either. Over all our stay was ok. I appreciated it being adults only and having access to my privilege side but we went in May and all the chairs at the private pool were already taken by 10 am. I will not be staying again. I prefer small hotels and this was a big resort. Also you can hear absolutely everything in the hall…. I tried it for our first time in Cala d’Or not knowing really how it was going to be. Wasn’t awful but wasn’t great.
It was modern, clean, great food , friendly staff , good entertainment, all in a ideal location .
Nothing not to like
Hotel was exceptionally clean and beautiful - staff very friendly and accommodating
It was a little bit far from Cala D’or itself but not a major problem
Food & beverage selection was great, very high quality for all inclusive standard. The beach is wonderful & the best part by far was the staff!Jose, Moises & Marian! Jose & Moises on the bar kept us entertained and put up with attempts at speaking Spanish.Marian on events was incredible, organised a football tournament for us and was always a great host. Very good at football as well!
Only thing that was a tiny tiny downside, the main pool was closed on the hottest day we were there. I think it’s just bad luck as I imagine it was closed for good reason.
The hotel property and beach is beautiful and the food everyday was amazing.
I did not like having to wait for hours on a room to be ready. Arrive at 9am and did not get in a room until after 4pm.
Very good hotel. Emerald sea, tasty breakfasts, cosy rooms.
The hotel gym is situated out of the building, on the fresh air. The dinners are tasteless.
Wonderful stay at central location in Cala d'Or. Semi private beach, fantastic breakfast and meal selections - there was plenty to choose from. Our room had a partial sea view and was above the evening entertainment area - some nights we joined in the nightly entertainment and for the nights that we were a bit more exhausted we could enjoy the music from our room (only till 22:20pm max ;) We took the local bus from the airport which was a breeze to use and stops right by the hotel.
Nothing was bad. Perhaps to note is to remember mosquito spray for the evenings. And while the bus to the hotel was fantastic, the bus ride back to airport became stressful as the scheduled bus arrived completely full so we couldn't get on. So besides that surprise - the taxi stand was also right there and the situation was easily rectified.
Overall a good experience. I travelled with family as a surprise for my Mum's birthday. We are 4 ladies aged mid 30s to mid 60s and we made lots of new friends during our stay (both couples, families and solo travellers) who were great people and a lot of fun.The all inclusive was brilliant value and the view across the bay from our rooms in the second block (2315 and 2316) was incredible. This block is also further away from the bar which can be a tad noisy with guests having fun late in the evenings. The food quality and variety surpassed our expectations and some of the entertainment and facilities were excellent. The little beach area is great and Soul Avenue and Queen were definite highlights!! There were however a few negatives to note which unfortunately did manage to detract from the plus points I've mentioned....
There were however a few negatives to note which unfortunately did manage to detract from the plus points I've mentioned....There was no a la carte restaurant availability for the duration of our stay so we felt we had been mis-sold that. A better system needs to be in place to avoid this.Receptionists at check-in were rather abrupt and unaccommodating and it was quite an unnecessarily lengthy process. We were welcomed with a glass of chilled Cava though which was a nice touch and our cases taken to our rooms for us.One of our two rooms was fine but the other had a damp smell and shower appeared to leak with a knob missing on the control. It didn't bother us enough to request switching rooms though. Our water etc wasn't replenished every day which was a shame.Whilst the food at the Italian buffet restaurant was absolutely delicious and the chefs friendly, a couple of the waiting staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, giving us a dreadful attitude when we asked for more water/wine. They were very slow and spilt water on me and all over the table on several occasions without any apology or help to clear up.There was also a rather rude barman at the pool bar and a security guard who angrily kicked a table and chair over which was totally unacceptable. We found a few of the staff (not all) to be really quite aggressive and unprofessional and lacking basic customer service skills which is a real shame and did let it down a bit.The entertainment team were incredibly hardworking and the programme varied. The live sax at the pool and the paella and sangria masterclass were our favourites. We did feel the evening entertainment ended rather early/abruptly each night with just 2/3 songs played by the DJ following the live music finishing by around 10pm, despite the bar remaining open until 11.30pm and staff, security, some other guests getting apparently rather cross about the noise of laughing and singing etc continuing during that gap.
Location was good, it’s a little bit of a walk from the main beaches but it was a nice walk. The property was super clean and there were great facilities. Comfortable rooms and beautiful scenic views. The pool was awesome as well and so was the buffet breakfast and dinner.
For such a short stay I couldn’t get into one of the three nicer restaurants on the other side that I had one complimentary feed at which was unfortunate. The shower water also was a little off… I don’t know if it’s just Spain water but it was salty. The elevators were quite slow too but it wasn’t much of an issue.
Things we liked:•Wilson and Alessia made the entertainment program amazing with fun sports activities during the day and fantastic shows every evening. The shows were of a really good level, making each night enjoyable.•The restaurants offered a great variety of food, so there was always something new and delicious to try.•The beach and swimming pool were just steps away, super convenient and comfortable for relaxing.•Parking was easy, which made our stay even more stress-free.•The bed was really comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest.•Fresh water was provided in the room every day, which was a nice touch.•We had a drying rack on the balcony, making it easy to dry our swimwear.•It was an adult-only environment, so it was peaceful and quiet throughout the stay.•Beach towels were provided, and it was easy to exchange them when needed.•An iron was available, which was really helpful.Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great amenities, high-quality evening shows, and a perfect location for relaxing by the beach or pool!
Things we didn’t like:•The tap water was salty, which wasn’t ideal for drinking or showering.•There was no information provided in the room about the hotel services or facilities, which was frustrating.•The room wasn’t clean when we checked in, and overall, the cleaning wasn’t up to standard.•The lifts were painfully slow, making it a hassle to get around.•The bread at breakfast was dry, and most of the food felt old and not fresh.•The bathroom door was transparent, offering no privacy at all.•The staff in the restaurant spoke little to no English, making communication difficult.•It was hard to figure out which dishes were vegetarian, which fish was being served, or what type of meat was available at meals.•We could hear the TV from the neighboring room, which was quite annoying.•There was no staff in the spa—no towels were provided, and people were using the facilities without towels, which felt unhygienic.•There was no system in the restaurant to indicate that we were coming back to our table, so we had to explain ourselves repeatedly.•The reception was very slow, with long wait times for basic requests.•The hotel’s app didn’t work, which was supposed to help with bookings and information.•We had to book the restaurants in advance, but some were only open two days a week, which made it hard to plan meals outside of the main buffet.
Location is stunning, staff amazing, food excellent, drink choice great
In almost all areas it was good or brilliant, the 2 areas of feedback are 1) the carpets on the landings are really worn and stained. Easily replaced without great expense2) The hotel for our stay was clearly overbooked. I booked a suit but was informed it had already been allocated
Having an evening meal at one of the a la carte restaurants was unexpected and much appreciated. We had a great meal at the one with a tasting menu, beautiful view and lovely staff. This was by far the highlight of our stay.
Our room was a pool view, which we would be a premium. However, evening entertainment was then poolside and made our balcony unusable in the evening, and the room loud. Everywhere was loud as the hotel has too many room in comparison to size of facilities - the bar, buffet restaurant and pool area were overwhelmed. We also returned from our holiday poorly which we are sure is as a result of the pool or buffet.
