Location next to beach Good private parking

Gave us the wrong room at first ! Old room , different look from pictures. Once we told the guy we wanted to change he became super rude ! Shower head was broken , water squirting all over the room.Pillows were super thin , finished my stay with a sore neck!We could here all the conversations through the walls , not soundproof at all!

Great location, very close to the beach

We felt like we were in a hostel, not what we expected. The AC really doesn’t work at all, so the room was always hot. The beds were very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. They add one sheet for you to cover up with, but it feels very cheap. The bathroom is basic; they have this all-in-one shampoo and body wash solution, which is not very nice. The door is made of glass and doesn'teven close properly, so if you go to do your number 2, the other person must leave the room, or you’ll have a symphony. The TV worthless, 4 channels in Spanish nothing about any app that you may want to see. We checked out before the completion of the days that we paid for… we couldn't stay any longer.

Nothing really!

Excellent location, and the staff was super friendly, helpful and always with a smile. After checking out, they let us enjoy the beach and take a shower before going to the airport, which we highly appreciated. I also recommend the restaurant in the hotel: the roasted fish we had was superb.Breakfast was also very good, fresh and with high quality items.The beaches are also, in my opinion, the best in the region. Don't think twice!There is a bus stop right across the street as well.

Some small details (fixtures, shower head) in our room's bathroom could benefit from a bit more upkeep, but everything worked well and we had no issues.

The service - family ran business - the owner always provided good advice for restaurants and directions. Very helpful

Just the location.

The aire conditioning was very poor. Once you left the room the air conditioning shut down. While we were in the room and nobody was moving everything wouldl shut down, including the t v and the lights. There were ants in the room.

Location is amazing , the parking is free and inside the hotel , the staff are wonderful , the food is good .

THE AC

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They seem to remember everyone at all hours of the day in and out of the hotel. You just can't beat the location with the pool and beach right there, no using the car! Hotel felt boutique and small and not the common over crowded holiday hotel craze all over island. We enjoy the breakfast and ate all our meals onsite.

Showers were a little small and cramped. But I am American, so.....

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a little sparse. As is typical in Europe the queen bed, was two twins pushed together, a little hard, but comfortable. The beach is a 5 min walk from the hotel and since it's in the national park its not as crowded as any of the others. Also there two other beaches you can reach by walking along the cliff trail 5minutes on either side.

The rooms were a little sparse and I wish you could dim the lights or there was a nice warm table or accent light. Also we had no balcony light. When you want to just sit sit on the balcony or relax before bed you don't want the lights on full blast. Would be nice if there was a dim light available, but that's minor.

Quiet and out of the way. It felt like we had our own private beach in the evenings. Easy to drive to many towns and other beaches.

Food options were limited.

Locations can’t be beat! Right on some world class beaches with a many great options to either plop stuff right down to enjoy the sun, or walk to get away from the crowds.

This hotel is pretty bare bones. Don’t expect much from the room expect a clean place to sleep. They only provide the very basics.

Hotel is a stone's throw from beach. Good location and not somewhere you'd go if you wanted night life.

This was our second stay at Hotel Playa Mondrago and can't wait to go again! The staff are brilliant, the hotel is lovely and the location is perfect.

Location and nature is wonderful! Two very good beaches! I did jogging and swimming a lot.

Airco was not strong enough in my room

The location is great - it’s situated in the national park and the beach is just here. The hotel itself has been operating since 60s and was renovated. The room interior is not super modern but nice. There is everything that you may need. The only thing that my room category should have tea/coffee maker. But ours did not have it, but it was quickly resolved. The room cleaning was everyday and really good.The only thing is noise cancellation wasn’t so great betweeen the rooms. We could hear the baby crying, but the noise outside was completely shutdown. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.The breakfast was good too. Not super various and I lacked some greens, but overall it was good.

Pillows were hard, uncomfortable.Water from the tap is salty and no facilities to supply clean water or no notice from hotel about water quality.We purchased bottled water to drink.

Amazing location right on the beach surrounded by a Natural park with nice walks and not crowded shore with tourists / other hotels. The staff was very nice and accommodating (early check in for example) - Sara was especially helpful supplying us with great recommendations for the area. We loved our stay.

Staff were exceptional. Receptionist couldn’t be more helpful and Yolli and Carlos were very good. Really work hard. Room had everything you needed and any issues were sorted immediately. Good car park and the food was delicious with a great choice

Nothing but I would recommend ear plugs as it can be noisy from other guests at night.

The best part of Hotel Playa Mondrago were the staff. They were so attentive and no request was too much. They were all so friendly and uphold the family run business vibe of the hotel - making our stay all the more special and genuine. We had a delay on our way over and Juan was so helpful in arranging a taxi last minute to come and collect us from the airport. We loved the Cuban music night and the breakfast was delicious too. Fantastic location and great parking facilities as well. Room was spacious.
