Hotel Palia Puerto del Sol 3 Sup

Location

Due to property closing for winter on 13/10/2024 the restaurant was very inadequate in its range of meals on offer.

It was very pretty and in a lovely location right on the marina but didn’t realise it would be so far from the shopping area and the beach.

We booked taxis on two occasions to go to the shopping area and both times after already waiting for 30 mins were informed by our receptionist that they would still be 45 mins! Which was both unacceptable and disappointing. There was only 1 shop locally and that was a fair walk. Everything seemed disjointed with the restaurant and bar at one end of the area and swimming pool snack bar and children’s area on the other side. You needed to be able to walk quite a lot and the pavements were very uneven. We were given an apartment on arrival on the 3rd floor even though we had specifically requested a lower or even first floor as I am disabled. It was also opposite the bar/evening entertainment which was really noisy and went on until 11.30pm then people shouting and laughing until around 12.30pm even with the window closed it was very noisy and the first night it was impossible to get any sleep. We were moved to a better area which was very quiet and all was ok after that. In my opinion this complex is not advisable for disabled people or someone who struggles with walking and for this reason we wouldn’t stay here again.

The room the a/c didnt even work at all absolutley roasting , cleaners didnt even clean done nothing left 1 towel for us twice when in highlighted with staff nothing was done

From start to finish we had a great break away here. There are a lot of steps but this didn't bother us. The room was super clean, the food was lovely and had a decent selection for my fussy daughter including fresh pizza and pasta in the buffet restaurant. Always food at the snack bar. All inclusive drinks were a bit limited and I would say they should at least have two of the standard cocktails included (sex on the beach and pina colada). Location was perfect overlooking the beautiful marina and is about 20 mins walk to the town. Overall no complaints whatsoever and we can't wait to come back and were impressed.

I would say if you are wanting a tea or coffee in the room, they only have powdered milk and this would settle on top of the coffee or tea so we just gave that a miss but could have a hot drink in the restaurant.

Steps lots of them , we are in our 70s have had knee replacement so steps didn’t help , we got put on the third floor room 345 whilst having a marina view the stairs were hard going a few times a day , we asked for another room ground floor if possible we got told the complex was full up all week ?‍♀️

The air-conditioning didn't work.The shower ran hot/cold every 2 seconds so you had to hokey pokey in and out.Not ventilation in bathroom so on top of no air-conditioning it was sweaty.Lamp didn't workTv didn't connect to WiFiVery basic rooms.Fridge was luke warmFood was poor. Clean and spacious. Room was perfect. Excellent views over the marina and excellent location for Cala Dor. The bar played house music all day and night which was lovely when sitting over the marina or sunbathing. Self pour your own drinks which cuts down on queuing times - beer sangria Fanta lemon coke etc.. wine also included at lunch and dinner. Main pool was lovely and lots of sunbeds.Night time entertainment was good - amazing singers that went in till midnight.

The adults only often let children in. The adults only bar - the server would vanish for 10 minutes at a time meaning you couldn’t get a drink. Happened more than a few times so just gave up.Lots of steps - if you have mobility issues book with caution!

The hotel is pretty big but there arę shortcuts everywhere. There are multiple pools, the biggest one has a nice bar nearby. The rooms were fairly clean, nothing fancy but the stay was comfortable. The food was pretty nice too. It is similar everyday but sometimes there are some special items on the menu. At sunset there is usually some concert or game in the chillout zone. But as other comments suggest most of the people staying in the hotel seems to be from France so the games are also in French. Nonetheless if there is a concert you can still have plenty of fun here. There is a marina nearby, on it there is also a shop where you can by any necessities. Under 30 minutes of walking there are at least two beaches so it's perfectly located. There is also a bus stop very close to hotel from which you can travel to other places like Cala Mondrago or even to Palma.

Location was really nice. Apartments were spacious for 2 adults.

Restaurant catered mostly for French. ( not suitable for Irish teast) Delph not particularly clean.

Rooms were cleaned every day

The food wasn’t great at all,the menu was very repetitive and some dishes were very tasteless

Not having enough all inclusive in the room for beverages Toilet seat not cleaned properly Not enough staff in a morning at breakfast felt sorry for them.Lack of evening entertainment .The awful cellar like entertainment room needs upgrades , too dark and dingy only went in and straight out once .

The food was excellent, the buffet had lots of food to suit everyone!

The footpaths were very poor - tiles sticking up meant you had to watch your footing all the time! Not buggy accessible, more lifts needed!

Location was amazing - overlooking marina for meals. If you like boats, amazing location. Rooms were great size and very clean & modern. Bottle of water in fridge when we arrived which was appreciated @ 3am.

Only fault would be evening entertainment. It wasn't great.

Great location, right on the harbour. Hotel had a free shuttle bus every 10 minutes to the beach. Bedroom was clean and spacious.

Food options were ok and very similar each day.

Hotel is a perfect location with beautiful views over the marina, they offer a free shuttle bus to and from the beach. Food was lovely and had good variety, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious and spotlessly clean.I don't know what more people could want!

Spectacular views of the marina. Food was ok. Nothing special but always an option available. Could be served warmer. Quality of drinks on AI package not great.

Hotel is set up to favour the French. They are given priority at reception, bats etc. Entertainment also very directed to suit the French visitors
