Pros +
- Unbelievable stay and just such a beautiful building and suite right in the middle of Ragusa. Our room was so lovely. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was to die for! Would absolutely recommend this property.
- This property was a great little surprise. We only spent one night, and given another opportunity we would have stayed longer in Ragusa and would have been very happy at this hotel. Charming, and very well maintained. The breakfast was exceptional, and it is a super location. The staff were more than gracious, very accommodating and efficient.
- Location is spectacular and the whole hotel is absolutely beautiful in the charming city of Ragusa Ibla. Staff and owner extremely nice and available. Breakfast good and different (not a buffet).
Cons -
- Nothing it was perfect
- Wish they had a little bar and maybe coffee in the room.
- We had more comfy beds elsewhere in Sicily. The property has a large internal courtyard where we had expected to meet our tour guide/driver, but it’s off limits to non-guests so we met them in the street or Square. No big deal, just felt a little stand-offish to the locals.

Very well located near the Duomo in Ragusa. Our room had a beautiful view over the main Square. Nice breakfast, friendly staff who helped make dinner reservations and transportation plans.

Incredible place! A piece of history to lodge in. Located in the best part of town, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, spacious shower, comfortable bed, quiet room, just perfect.
The parking is not on site. The staff does a great job at offering valet service and assistance, but the town doesn’t allow cars through at certain times and it’s a hike from the parking lot- something to be very aware of.
Excellent. There are two people who works there that is very kind, Rosalia, very elegant and attentive, she served us early breakfast the first and second time we went there, and Michele, who is always very kind. The breakfast is the must of the hotel, we stayed there 3 times always in a different room and all of them were so beautiful.
In the morning there was a noise in the corridor, maybe the cleaners dragging the vacuum cleaner down the corridor.
Great location. Nice room. Good staff. Great breakfast. Great experience. Would highly recommend. Would come back.
Nothing. Everything was good.
I was so happy to stay here. The best basic tasty yummy food on the entire trip. Simple, and clean and delicious. The rooms were spacious too.
Ad 1768 Boutique in Ragusa Ibla is truly a gem.As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of—from seamless transportation arrangements to thoughtful daily assistance. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.Breakfast was a standout—carefully prepared and distinct, reflecting the unique touch of their restaurant. The room I stayed in was dedicated to the owner’s grandmother, which added a deeply personal and emotional layer to my experience. It wasn’t just a place to sleep—it had a soul. The space itself was beautifully comfortable, and the owner welcomed me with her whole heart. I’ll never forget the genuine hospitality I received here. This is a place that stays with you.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location, in the heart of Ragusa. I loved that I briefly met the owner and she shared a bit about the history of this place. I would have love to know more. Breakfast was excellent and staff was super attentive and very accommodating. We felt appreciated and welcomed.
Would have liked to be able to dim the lights in our room, it seemed that there was only a on and off switch but I confess I did not ask staff since we only stayed one night.
What an incredible property! Beautiful, spacious room. Incredible bathroom. Phenomenal complimentary breakfast, wonderful staff and a great location. Incredible value!
Absolutely nothing.
Beautifully recently renovated palace with a mix of classic and modern elements. Large rooms and the largest bathroom I have seen in my trip. The location is at the center of the old town Ibla. You get personally treated by the owner who is a wonderful host. I would come back and stay here again.
Amazing staff, great location and love the hotel interior design

Bed was comfy, location was great, hotel was really stylish. The breakfast was the best we had in Sicily!
Lovely hotel we were staying in a room with very high ceiling and charming balcony in the street. Very comfortable and super efficient service/staff.
Nothing much except The room service - cheese/cold cut board is really disappointing with tiny quantity at super high price
Ideal location next to Piazza Duomo. Superb staff: always helpful, always friendly. Great breakfast. Large, comfortable rooms. Superbly renovated 18th century palazzo.
The room Donna Teresa is gorgeous. The location is perfect.
Heating can‘t be turned off and the room was way too hot. Soundproofing is also below expectations. LED Artworks on the wall cannot be fully turned off. Good a la carte breakfast, but was below expectations. Booking images show a rich buffet but in reality it‘s a a la carte buffet which is slow and inefficient as only three plates at a time can be ordered (even for hungry cyclists like us). Staff reacting defensifely to constructive criticism.
This place is something special, a restoration of an ancient building that has been transformed into a high-class hotel. The service is unbeatable, and the charming landlady tells an inspiring story about the construction of the hotel.
Beautifully restored XVIII century palace, with great taste and the right dose of personality, converted into a 9-bedrooms boutique hotel, with rooms and common areas in very generous dimensions. Managed by its owner Josephine, with utmost attention to detail and style. Best possible location a few meters away from the cathedral. Exquisite breakfast made with top quality local products. Staff very kind, attentive and professional.
A wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovingly decorated, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious.
