- The property is unique with winding stair cases set in on the rocks . Very charming design and taste through out
Cons -
- The humidity in the room at times was very high, which made the bedding and my clothes feel damp. They do have a pretty sophisticated dehumidifier system in the room, so I’m not sure what they can really do about it. But other than that, it was a great stay.

The hotel is a nice old home renovated for the purpose. It has few rooms, which are not large but comfortable. The staff is amazing, even more so in the breakfast room. The breakfast was great.
Access by car is difficult. It's great once you are in (no traffic around, you're straight in the old town), but a bit stressful on arrival.
- Staff extremely gentle- Excellent breakfast buffet
- No private parking- In the room there are some minor flaws in terms of maintenance, nothing too serious, but I would expect pretty much perfection for being a Chateau and Relais- Very very steep stairs for getting into the room, not OK for elder people for example
Location, attentive staff, very good experience overall
Bathroom very small, we stayed one night and the room’s fridge was not working.
Guiseppe on the front desk was extremely helpful with advice on restaurants, places to visit and drinks. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and great breakfast. Superb location. Valet service was amazing.
All was perfect. More than we could wish for.
Splendid historic building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We received a free upgrade upon arrival and enjoyed a spacious room with a lovely aspect.Breakfast was delicious with good coffee.
The location was superb and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful
I booked a Junior Suite and it was perhaps not as useful as it might have been - the seating area was upstairs in the bathroom and no view
the hotel was beautiful, the room was great and the breakfast was fantastic. the best part was the staff. Eugene and Enrico went above and beyond to help us and make our stay perfect.
it is on a very narrow one way road that is also a steep hill. don’t try to go up. park at the bottom and walk up the short distance. figure out what to do with your car afterwards
staff was amazing,location, charm
there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, it was perhaps a bit expensive given the size of the room.
The reception Manager & Restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good quality but absolutley not at the level of choice, variety, ambience experienced st other 5 & even 3/4 # Hotels.
I booked the cave room for the architectural concept, 2nd down from the most expensive room. The Hotel had either a chemical cleaner or room freshener which was disgusting.I requested another room as it was toxic to breathe. How this hotel was rated as a Relais & Château is a mystery. It was an amateur attempt in the Hotel/ Hospitality industry. It chemical used by the Hotel tainted the covers of my documents, and they in turn needed cleaning with simple soap & water. This has made me suspicious of the Relais & Chateu brand.
nice breakfast and friendly staff
it’s to expensive for the room standard they offer
The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and offered us things that were not on the buffet. The room and bathroom were fine but not exciting
The access was very tricky with a car and should have been explained more clearly. Once I called them to say where we were then it all went very well. This in not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Everyone was very helpful and the location was impeccable. The room was comfortable and very clean, and we were made to feel very welcome. Small details of local sweets on arrival and water upon departure were great.
The stairs are a bit tricky, and we weren’t told about an easier way to get to the room without stairs until I took a tumble. I find it a bit pricey compared to other hotels in the region, but the service was outstanding.
An interesting location being world heritage, the reality was a modern presentation of superb rooms and space. The staff were helpful and informative providing good service. The time we spent coincided with the festival of St George worth being there.
challenging drive to the property through the streets of Ragusa, poor breakfast for a Michelin property (note the restaurant is remote from the property. Wi-Fi good but there should be USB charging points
Staff was very pleasant and helpful
Room was tiny and washroom was cramped to the point of being unsafe
The staff was amazing. Nunzia, Eduardo and Mario were so friendly and gave us great advice. It felt so nice staying there. I 100% recommend it.
Should be delisted from Relais & Château group asap. A disgrace to the brand name.
Small, dark. No wifi. Hair dryer works a few seconds and automatically stops due to over heating.
Pleasant
Very disappointed that neither the bar nor the restaurant was open.Internal staircase to room vertiginous—unusuable, even without luggage to carry!! Had to walk out on the street to access room-lucky that rain hadn’t arrived at those moments.
