Hotel La Dimora di Piazza Carmine

The location is great. We wished the church was not being renovated it would have been a better but the view to old town was wonderful. Our hostess admitted us early and the accomodations were excellent. We highly recommend.

Dirty bathroom, the cleaning lady was overworked but had a reasonable attempt at cleaning the shower after the complaint.

The location is very central and the view from the room was nice.

The AC was not working and the bathroom wasn't older and not very clean. The host was nice enough to include free breakfast due to the issue with the AC though.

Super easy check-in, welcoming and helpful staff, sufficient breakfast. Free upgrade to room with balcony. Good location between the train station and Ragusa Ibla, close to two different routes (one with fewer steps!)

Unless you are pious, the church bells are excessive. Bring earplugs. Room temperature was uncomfortably warm, and, given the noise from the bells, leaving the balcony door open was not possible. Also, like many hotels in Italy today, the pressure to respond to every single breakfast request means more food but lower quality. I would have preferred fruit, yogurt, and fresh, locally made cornetti.

Central location in Ragusa Superiore.I'm always a bit concerned about places (like this B&B) where I need a code to enter the building, but the instructions provided by the B&B were clear, and I didn't have any problems.Very nice breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for what I paid.

Lovely little hotel with self check in. Friendly staff available for any issues or questions. Lovely view of Ibla. Spacious comfortable room and bathroom. Would definitely stay there again. Good breakfast for €10.

Small mix up with the room when we arrived but they sorted it out and we were happy.

Very great view from out apartment. everything clean. Also the location is perfect, as you can reach the old part of ragusa as well as the new part easily by foot.

Just a bit old furniture in parts but nothing to worry about.

Very good location, very clean room. Good access to the enjoy the scenery and access to Ibra area. There were no empty space to park in front of the hotel but easily to find out the free parking space near the hotel. The breakfast was also great!

We felt very welcome right from the start. The location is great and you can walk to Ragusa Ibla. We were able to park in the street for free. The hotel also gave us helpful recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was great! We really enjoyed our stay here!

The bathroom light appears to only operate by a motion sensor, so if one needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night, the bright light is not ideal. Sofa is a bit low to the floor for a couple of old guys.

The rooms are really comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room for luggage. The shower was great and the room temperature was perfect given it was cold outside. The hotel had very easy free parking opposite, and overlooks Ragusa Ibla which was beautiful at night. It is walking distance to the restaurants at Ragusa Ibla.The breakfast buffet was fabulous - deli meats and cheese, eggs, bread, and homemade cakes. muesli and yoghurt as well as cappuccino and teas. This was a wonderful surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

I under estimated the walking involved to see the monuments in Ragusa, I should have done more research, planned better and stayed for more than one night

Excellent little hotel in a lovely piazza next to the path down to Ragusa Iblea and it’s amazing Duomo. Get the bus back up from outside the gardens then a 10 minute walk to another magnificent Duomo and multiple cafes/restaurants. Exceptionally helpful staff, spotlessly clean room and very decent breakfast. Loved it.

1. First class cleanliness overall. Super kind and very helpful staff. They tackle any minor needs instantaneously. Thanking all for the care shown well before our arrival till the end of our holiday. Very much appreciated!2. Good breakfast, coffee and fresh home-made cakes though no croissants as in ad.

1. We were offered a ground floor room directly overlooking the square. Though very convenient, only a glass door with a blackout and another curtain seperated us from the outside world, which we felt it wasn't very safe.2. No mirrors in the bedroom, only one above the sink in the bathroom which is a bit uncomfortable for makeup.3. I suggest to find a better way for the hotel to always automatically provide hot water in the sink and shower.

Spacious room. Lovely staff. Great location between Upper and Lower Regusa. Amazing breakfast!

We really missed a big mirror in the room. The one in the bathroom is somewhat small and you basically need to squat to use the mirror.
