Hotel Il Barocco

Beautiful old building, with clean rooms, nice shower. Breakfast was generous, and included decaf options. They provided a nice map of Ragusa. They were also nice about storing bags while we wandered for a bit.

Driving in Ragusa is a little tough, (no fault of the hotel!) We did find street parking eventually.

The hotel is comfortable, located in a very centric location and the staff is very nice and helpful. We had a very nice view over Ragusa Ibla's old building from our room's balcony.

The rooms are not sound proof. You can hear people speaking in the next room almost as if they were in your own.

Its location in the heart of Ragusa Ibla is this hotel's best feature. It's quite comfy and charming, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is superb, with a wide variety of selections.

Parking can be a challenge if you're arriving by car. Be alert for the ZTLs when approaching the hotel, and when we arrived the frontage areas reserved for arrivals were full. There are no lifts, so you'll need to carry your luggage up some steps.

Loved the feeling of old luxury in a central location . Staff so kind to find car when accidentally drove into pedestrian area and could not find hotel in mountain top village Glad we stayed two days to walk, shop, eat.

The location in the Ibla is amazing! So pretty and scenic. The breakfast is excellent! The staff is super attentive! The beds comfy.

I rented a car and sometimes Google Maps turned me in circles. A couple nights I had to park far away, because GM just couldn’t get me to the property. There is public parking, but driving around for a while to find an open spot.

A great family own establishment with a fabulously affordable Michelin rated restaurant to boot. The members of staff were excellent and very engaging. Thank you for making our short stay in Ragusa an excellent experience.

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast included a wide variety of items. The location was great for exploring Ragusa Ilba, close to the gardens, shops and many restaurants.

Super large delicious selection of breakfast and good coffee

IF the restaurant next to the hotel (with the same name) belongs to the hotel, the food is disastrous. It doesn't work at all. It's really bad!The house salad was bland and dry, very overcooked eggs. The salad was missing everything. The pizza was heavy, oily and close to inedible

Great location. Charming courtyard. Big room with suite facilities. Balcony. Openable windows / balcony door for airflow. Welcoming, helpful staff. We could park directly opposite

We had a large room w good ventilation heat and cooling good hot water Very comfy beds too.Very complete breakfast w many options. Restaurant on the property is convenient and quite good especially their pizzas. Location super convenient for center of town .

Parking is a pain but that’s normal in historic centers

I’ll Barocco exceeded our expectations. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, and professional and available 24/7. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There are so many attractions in walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely go back!

Everything was fabulous!

The location is in the centre of Ibla adjacent to sites and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had antique fittings which added character to the room. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice to select from. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant on the evening we arrived. We were fortunate to get one of the three parking spaces outside the hotel. Otherwise parking can be hit or miss on the streets nearby.

We travelled by bus to Ragusa superior and were not impressed.Ibla is the place to stay when visiting Ragusa.

Friendly, professional, and accommodating staff, very clean hotel, property has character, and is in a wonderful location.

Perfect location for wandering in Ragusa Ibla. A short walk to the Duomo, restaurants and shops. Lovely breakfast as well.

The accommodation has a pleasant aesthetic, it is comfortable, it has a very good location, and it is close to the city's free parking lot and close to the city's attractions. The breakfast is very tasty and sufficient, the staff is friendly.

The only negative thing was the cold room and dining room, but after we prepared for it, we were able to deal with it, it wasn't terrible. ( The room has a heater, but its capacity is limited enough )

Very pretty hotel in convenient location. Room was quite large and comfortable. Everything worked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two of them in particular went beyond normal helpfulness when i was delayed and arrived in the early hours of the morning. General standards of cleanliness high.

Hard to find anything negative except the lighting in the room which was rather poor.
