The hotel was very clean. The room was clean and spacious.

The lobby and room were dark. The breakfast could be improved. The service of the restaurant was slow.

1. Breakfast was very good and a good variety.2. Pool and Spa facilities were excellent and very clean.3.Shuttle bus to the town and Porto was a great service that was free.

1. Breakfast on first Sunday was very busy after a wedding and staff were very rushed and rude. Manager made aware and apologised plus a voucher for the spa pool. Thank you. 2. Shuttle was not readily advertised to clients , found out by reading reviews about the hotel. 3. Location was more remote than realised,

The hotel is big clean, pretty. The swimming pool is heated, lovely ! And one step to the ocean !

The beds were extremely uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The food at the restaurant was below average. One of our room had a defect airco, making a tin can noise all night, it could not be repaired, we got a replacement room smaller than the previous one, no commercial gesture....

Additionally, the pool area and beach access close too early for summer.”

The bathtub door and the bathroom door interfere with each other. If you forget to close the bathtub door before opening the bathroom door, the two doors will collide.

A marvelous stay, perfect place to relax! Comfy hotel, amazing heated and salted indoor and outdoor pools, great location.

Nothing not to like.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. They were very helpful, efficient and thoughtful. Grounds are very well maintained. Food was excellent, especially the steak, best we’ve had in a long time! Would definitely consider staying here again.

A little further out than I would have preferred but a beautiful location by the beach and very peaceful.

It's a bit dated

despite the privileged location by the sea there is no terrace with view, a bit complicated to navigate, somewhat outdated architecture. The beach in front consists of rocks with no real sea access. rooms are comfortable, bathroom a bit passé

The abundance of creepy naked old dudes in the spa area.

The swimming pool was warm and it was very spacious. The breakfast had a pancakes machine perfect for kids. The room was spacious as well. The kids play room was great with so many toys, and they have a lot of activities outside. And the live music is good.

Food in the hotel is pricey, there were broken drawers in the room, hair on the floor in the bathroom, there are many things that needs to be renewed.

We had an amazing check in with the most professional and hospitable Daniel at the Front desk. My children enjoyed the heated pools and gym. We loved this beautiful hotel which is perfectly located near the beach. The bath tubs on the third floor may need some renovations. The continental breakfast buffet was perfect, we will definitely return. All the staff were very friendly.

Great location with sea views, nice gym open at reasonable times, kettle in room, lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

TV didn’t work in the room which is really minor as we didn’t want to watch it anyway.

My room had a faulty aircon and the hotel immediately transferred us to another room and gave us a fruit platter and apology. When I did not enjoy the foot massage, the spa manager offered me another at no cost. This is what one expects from 5 star facilites yet is not normal in Portugal. We were very well treated

I have asthma and didn't like to have carpets everywhere, specially in bedrooms. Also didn't enjoy at all, a very long check-in when arriving late, after mid-night, with my husband and 8 years old son sleeping and waiting at the car. Booking already have all my data so didn't understand the need to check all cards and including having to pay in advance, before seeing the bedroom. Moreover, i asked another bed fir my son and the bedroom was not ready for him. I even called during the day to confirm and they said that they have that information

The place is beautiful and the location is perfect just on the beach crossing a tunnel under a rail that goes to Oporto.

Hotel was calm and clean, our room got neat every day.

Breakfast had limited selection. We expected more options to eat . Not tissue on our room. No plate and spoon for cups. No minibar in our room.the indoor swimming pool was not pleasant, space and water was cold . Hotel had a long Distane to city center; about 30 km far from city cener it means is suitable only fot those take car rental. We lost about 1 to 1.5 hour in highways to reach city atrractions every day!!

Breakfast was FABULOUS. The bar tender was WONDERFUL - very personable, pleasant and attentive The live piano music was enjoyable and relaxing. The spa service was very good. I booked a package of hydro/body scrub/massage and it was good and a very reasonable price. I was so disappointed because we paid a lot and it turned out to be terrible weather! However, the spa appointment was a nice treat in lieu of time at the beach and at least our room and the bed were both comfortable. The wind and rain finally cleared up the day we were leaving, so I requested late checkout and enjoyed sitting on the beach which is particularly beautiful with lots of interesting rock formations.

Menu at the bar was very short--in fact, we ordered the same food 2 nights because we didn't want to eat in the formal dining room. Seems either expensive fancy dinner or--not many casual options. The hair salon price was stated differently between the front desk and the stylist. The stylist also told me at the end that the shampoo and conditioner each cost 5 Euro which was absurd. I just paid the 25Euro which the front desk had informed me was the price. I was not happy with the blowdry result.
