    • Free parking and breakfast
    • I enjoyed the classic look and space within the room.
    • View to atlhantic Ocean, and outlet of Douro River . The location near beach, make great point to return or indicate to a friend or relatives The breakFast , its good , simple , but delicius Near to a lot of restaurants and caffes

    Cons -

    • Assigned different room then what I booked but at least was offered $120 refund. Internet was almost non existent in our room 313. Overall very disappointed
    • The furniture is old and in bad conditions The bathroom is old and the shower is too low for tall person
    • There was no soap or shower gel when I arrived at the room. I had to ask the front desk to supply the what was needed, plus for a 4 star hotel that has a swimming pool and spa, they didn¿t have robes or slippers.

Great location and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food items. Lovely view of the beach and boardwalk from the room. Staff were lovely and facility was well maintained.

There are not many food options near this place. Most places close around 7pm.

Great view, for those with ocean side rooms. Breakfast was sumptuous and one of the best views of any breakfast rooms. The property does not have a ramp, so if you have heavy suitcases, it is a bit tough to negotiate the climb. WIFI is anemic - but there... but then again why do you need WIFI when you ought to be up and about? (Ans: To check on flight status etc).

The location... practically on the beach.

The location: the boardwalk along the water was just outside the door. I also appreciated the free parking.

The hotel is ancient and the mattresses must be as old as the building. They are among the worst I've ever encountered. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the server although kind, didn't speak English. What we received wasn't at all what we thought we were going to get. It was not inexpensive, so that was a big disappointment.

Charged for water on day 2?? Very basic rooms. Hotel needs modernisation.

Excellent, carla, Lucia and Caroline at reception very very helpful.. good breakfast, kitchen boy very nice

Maybe a bottle of water complimentary for guest for one night would be nice

Only the location was good, since it is very closer to the beach

I stayed at the hotel for 10 days, from April 1 to April 10, 2025. During this period, I had to change rooms three times due to various issues with the facilities. Some of the major problems I faced included:Unstable Wi-Fi connectivityAir conditioning not functioning properlyTreadmill in the gym not workingWater seepage from the ceiling whenever it rainedMalfunctioning bathroom shower handleDespite raising these concerns, most of the staff were unresponsive. Out of the four reception staff members I interacted with, only one was helpful and addressed my concerns in a professional manner; the rest were not supportive.I ultimately reported these issues to the hotel’s Director on the final day of my stay.

Staff was really friendly and helpful, Karla at reception and the morning lady and kitchen guy very helpful

Maybe a shuttle service would be good

Size and quality of room and bedding and pillows and bathroom Plenty of parking space Right at the ocean for a nice walk Breakfast, and view from breakfast room Fantastic size of, and good quality interior swimming pool

All personnel are kind of a bit slow Furniture is really looking old, and Louis XIV styleThe roof of the interior swimming pool is likely going to collapse due to humidity within the next 5 years if they don't repair it

    Nice location and fair price

Very hot and swimming pool was very old, breakfast was poor

The receptionist Ricardo was extremely nice. Muito Obrigada. The view from the room I was magnificent- couldn’t get enough of the view and sound of waves. Room was very warm ,even without heating being switched on, this is so nice in winter time - real bonus.Easy to reach by bus: around 20min with bus 902 from Porto ( Rotunda da Boavista ).

    9OlenaPosted on: 1-7-2025

The view, breakfast, staff, location, vibe. Not the first time here.

Maybe the hotel could make some room renovations

    5IvanPosted on: 10-15-2024

    Good location. Clean room.

There wasn't any mosquito protection; There was a constant and loud noice coming from an aspiration pipe/ventilator next to my balcony, from the hotel's restaurant roof. The sea view is actually side sea view. In general, everything in this hotel is quite old.

Good staff, nice location, breakfast was good

No more jacuzzi, no easy access to the city center
