Hotel Illuster is a good choice in Uster. The staff is attentive and helpful, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the breakfast is very good. It is possible to park your car in a garage immediately under the hotel (at 9 CHF per day)

Great location just 5min from the train station. Lots of shops (grocery stores) right next to it as the hotel is placed on top of a shopping mall. Amazing breakfast - they also organized gluten free bread for us. Amazing service and very attentive staff! Great price value! If you’re looking for a great hotel in the middle of Uster - then it’s Illuster!

The breakfast the hotel provided was very good quality. I appreciate that they prepared the food safe for the allergic person as I requested when they contacted me in advance.

Well located near the train station, and in a quiet part of town. The breakfast was good enough, as was the room.

The pillows were too large and soft for me. Having a selection of pillows would be a great added benefit.The room was quite warm, even with open windows.

Room was super spacious with a balcony. Bathroom had a bathtub and strong water pressure and hot water which was very relaxing after cold days outside . Breakfast was tasty. The hotel is in the supermarket/mall type of complex which was convenient if you needed anything and it was extremely close to the train station. I would definitely stay again

Our 7th floor room was comfortable with a pleasant balcony and very nice views. Breakfast was all you’d want in a pleasant dining room. All staff were very friendly. The hotel is situated right in the centre of a shopping centre and is very convenient for the train and bus stations.

The bathroom was on the small side.

Easy to walk from Uster train station. Located near shops and grocery stores. Free water bottles provided. Breakfast is so good!

I liked the room, the position of the hotel in the city, the staff at the reception and the restaurant. Pretty good breakfast, clean room, heat, quiet. I would love to come back to this hotel.

Perfect location: it is located in the city center, 200 meters from the bus and train station.The room was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable. This is not the first time we have stayed here. The breakfast offer was also adequate, but I would rather call it average compared to the standard of the place. . I would highlight the selection of premium quality teas (Sirocco). Parking was also easy, the underground garage was also accessible by elevator. Part of the parking lot is reserved for hotel guests. Bathroom is equipped with bathtub, you didn't have to wait long for hot water. There is also a great self-service restaurant in the shopping center accessible from the ground floor of the hotel. Terrace with seating and a view of the city.

Connecting to wifi was quite difficult on one of our devices. At breakfast, refilling the consumption and cleaning the tables showed temporary difficulties by the curly haired waitress who was visibly unable to smile,specifically giving the impression that she doesn't like her job. .. It was also typical that, in the absence of house rules or management, lonely people sat down to breakfast at the 6-person tables, with whom one would not necessarily want to eat at the same table.

As usual, it is always quite nice to stay at ILLUSTER.

If you have to stay western side during the summer time, the room becomes too warm. No AC.

Breakfast variety could be better. A lot of things were missing. Also the rooms were not really soundproof. I could hear someone from the nearby rooms blow their nose.

Breakfast buffet was amazing. Location couldn't be better, right smack in the middle and very close to the train station. Great base to explore Uster on foot and the region by train.

Bathroom too small, shower stall not fully closed (water splashing all over), no AC in room - might become more important with global climate change.

Lack of aircon; a fan was provided but it was extremely hot in the room even with the windows open

Is located in the Migros mall with access to stores. The mattress and pillow were excellent

The price is way to high for the value. Breakfast was average and much bellow other choices half price in Bavaria

We have used this hotel in the past and it meets our requirements when visiting the area, convenient to train, bus and airtravel. The staff have remained a constant offering assistance when required.

A bath /shower with easier access for older folks.

The service staff were extremely warm and friendly. Most of them could communicate in English. The breakfast was good. Shopping for last-minute personal items is very convenient as it is linked to the Migros supermarket.

The bathroom for a family room was a bit small.
