Fabulous service. Beautiful building. Amazing breakfast buffet.

Very nice and comfort hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Highly responsive and helpful stuff. Very good breakfast! The hotel's bar is open until late hours offering good food and drinks. Loved that the hotel's price includes free use of the room's minibar (very thoughtful). 5 min walk from the lake shore).

Value for money is only fare. Fare location to meet Munich.

Everything. Except for the fact that the small fridge was warm and the room was super hot!

Dinner service for the reservations we had at olivs. The service wasn't that great. They took our order, brought the salad, took forever for the main meal, then disappeared after that We had seen lots of servers floating but not the one who helped us. Took over an hour for us to settle the check. Ended up settling with someone who didn't come to our table. Food was great ! Service not so much. the breakfast staff Friday morning was amazing! Waiter was very friendly and kind.

Breakfast buffet was great, staff were very attentive and helpful with any special requests Location was great, trains and subways nearby to travel into city centre and bikes available to rent for biking adventures.

I have stayed here four times and loved it every time. The food in all the restaurants are delicious and the views from the balcony is amazing!

The rooms were too hot, the only way to cool them down was to open the balcony door

The staff, especially front desk was stellar. They helped navigate (spoke on the phone as we don't speak very fluent German) a late night pizza delivery for our sports teams. The were always kind and helpful, the entire staff.

Property was very nice and staff was great!

Because we were there for medical reasons for a lengthy period of time, we would have appreciated some laundry services and optional mini fridge items and a microwave.

Woken by hotel staff “checking the room” after 11pm

I was woken up after 11pm by a member of hotel staff knocking on my door and then opening it. Apparently someone else had tried to check in to the same room after I arrived, and he was checking the room. As a woman travelling alone, this was a horrifying experience, which left me unable to relax and get to sleep afterwards. I complained to reception the next morning and although they were sympathetic, they were ultimately unhelpful.

This is one of the nicest hotels for the price (moderate) that I’ve ever stayed in. Superb facilities, incredibly helpful and welcoming staff

A little bit away from the town center

The room was spacious and it was great to have a full size bath tub.

There was no window that could be opened in the room, so there was no fresh air at all and no way to regulate the temperature and so it was very stuffy inside. The breakfast was good, but there weren't very many vegetarian hot choices - no hash browns, no baked beans etc. It was mostly just meat, meat and more meat. The TV in the room didn't work properly, the QR code for room service didn't work and the staff didn't "sell" anything about the hotel. They didn't point out the different facilities. It did not feel like a 4 star experience.

Very conveniently located in the south east outside of Munich. In the countryside by a beautiful lake but less than an hour from MUC airport. There are frequent trains from Starnberg station to downtown Munich Hbf

Parking is very limited free of charge and the small underground park is EUR 18 per day.

Clean, ample parking, a short 5-10 minute walk away from city center Starnberg, an excellent Spa facility (with 65/85 C rooms and an area for outdoor relaxation afterwards), and decent access to the lake for swimming in the morning - this is a great place to stay in Starnberg

The closest swimming location in the Starnberg See(Bürgerpark) is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Not that this is particularly far - but I thought it was a bit closer from previous reviews.

I had a problem with a lost passport and the staff could not of been more helpful. Staff are all very pleasant Short walk to the lakeTown was nice too

The road is a bit noisy with the patio door open

Location is very good to access the lake. It was close by foot.Interior looks nice and modern. Thanks for a powerful air-conditioner, I slept well on hot night.Its breakfast is one of high level among conventional breakfast buffet.

Nice and quite room with very comfortable beds. Wide bathroom. Water and beer from minibar offered. Great breakfast, top quality. Very close to like seaside and 5 minutes walk from Starnberg city center.

Clean, spacious room.

The hotel had an event on with a DJ playing until midnight. This made it impossible for me to sleep. I was travelling with a four year old child and I found this quite unacceptable and I would never have booked this hotel knowing that I wouldn't be able to sleep.
