too hot, no AC (ok given the time of the year) and no possibility to open the window to cool off. We basically slept in a sauna

We had a fantastic time and will return for sure for the spa alone. Such a great addition to the hotel, if you are staying, make sure you book one day at the spa - it is the most relaxing and healing experience. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the selection of local cheeses. The outdoor pool (free of charge) was not too busy and quite good too. Free coffee bar was definitely a welcome addition and plenty of fresh water available everywhere. The bar next door had great atmosphere for evening drinks.

Room interior design slightly dated, but it is not bad. Parking on the street, but it felt safe.

The room was well equipped, we had one issue with the air-conditioning but it was solved pretty quickly. The spa and the pool were excellent and the breakfast options were perfect - loved the Galician section!

It would be nice to have a bar/kiosk available next to the outdoor pool to get some drinks and snacks.

Clean, good service and many options for relaxation. The views are breath taking

Great if you are 90 years old. Very boring location. Everyone looks like they have given up on living! Not our style!

No working aircon in the room. Breakfast room felt like a morgue. High end price but coffee from a vending machine!

The spa was very nice, salt water with a lot of features and amazing Turkish bath. The gym is very nice and complete. The breakfast is very nice and location is perfect for walking the island or even go to O Grove for a relaxing time

The dinner buffet is not really worth the money. The room is very simple, no extras and there was no place to dry the rope after the spa so it was damp from one day to the next.

With two kids, our room was great. Both beds had more than enough room for a family of 4. The breakfast and dinner were really good. Also everyone in the hotel and spa were super friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Noise. Some of the guest staying at the hotel were highly intoxicated and at 5:00 were making a lot of noise in the bedroom hall to the point that I was forced to leave my room go talk with them.

Food quality

We were banned from entering the spa circuit because we had a baby. The employees only let in one adult or the couple but we had to leave the child in the room. This is an insult to the common sense.I need to point out that we were not informed about this rule when the reservation was made (we inform the age of our children at the time of booking). The hotel only sent this information to late, on the day of arrival. If they had informed us in advance, we would have looked for another hotel, cheaper and more humane.This hotel is worth for its bathing facilities but if we can not use it, sorry but it"s only a vulgar hotel.

Nothing negative- bar was closed during our stay, but not exactly an issue

Very clean room and spacious. Good selection of treatments at the balneario (all of them not included in some rate types). Great breakfast.

The bar at the external pool was closed and there was no place to get a drink until 6pm, when the cafeteria opens. The external swimming pool needs urgent repairs as there are missing tiles.

won’t return

kids are only allowed in the indoor pool in two very short time periods that are either at lunch time or in the middle of the afternoon. the facilities and breakfast are not worth the price .

it’s a little remote, but the walk off the island is very pleasant to reach a huge choice of bars etc

We like the rooms and breakfast.

we don't like having to pay to go to the pool, I've never seen anything like it. There was no entertainment for children. During the night my daughter vomited in her room and we asked for assistance, and they gave my husband a broom to clean it up, ridiculous.

We like the hotel but some points could be better, buffet dinner and SPA one Saturday afternoon are exemples

The dinner as buffet was very expensive for the quality of the food offered . It needs to be improved . We had dinner once at the restaurant Casa do Marques very nice quality and service for the price, good value for money. Attendind Covid times, Saturday the SAP pull was very crawded.

The double bed consisted in two mattresses together… you can imagine how comfortable that was for a couple. Avoid buffet dinner. Incredibly expensive for the very limited amount of choices available. Only fruit and salads had variety. But other than that, no proper cooked options. Cheap boiled pasta and tasteless cheap meat.
