    Cons -

    • Being ONLY pietonal area, very hard to reach the hotel with luggages. Any car left you about 200 yards far from hotel door and the road is granite pavers, the killer of luggages wheels. I was in vacation for a month in România, means I carry 4 large luggage and other 4 small. Still thank you to the staff providing help, but the hotel owners need to think foe an alternative. Everything else, meet or extend standard.
    • The tub has a handheld washer but no pole to hold it to make a shower. You have to hold the handheld shower head to wash otherwise you can only take a bath.
    • Hand held shower only. I wish there had been a way to mount it on the wall.

Large room, excellent Italian restaurant connected with gluten free pasta and bread, very helpful staff

The location was perfect for visiting Old Town Bucharest. The staff was exceptional, helpful in every way including helping us move our luggage to the meeting point for our driver (the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, no vehicles allowed). They arranged a wonderful airport transfer upon our arrival. Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and quiet.Providing water every day was a nice perk, especially given how hot it was. The hotel has its own restaurant with wonderful food for lunch and dinner.

Hand held shower only. I wish there had been a way to mount it on the wall.

Mansion Boutique hotel is exactly the accommodation we had hoped for. Perfect location in Old Town Bucharest. Walking distance to many attractions. The staff exceeded our expectations. When we were on tours that left before the breakfast starting time, they packed us 'to go' breakfasts and made us coffee. We were welcomed to the hotel with a glass of sparkling wine while we checked in. The hotel has an Italian restaurant open until midnight. Although the restaurant is average, it sure met our needs when we got back late from tours or one night when we did not want to go very far for a light meal. Breakfast had many hot and cold choices and was satisfying. One of the waiters learned quickly how each person our group of six people wanted their coffee. He started making it the minute we walked in for breakfast. Each room is individually decorated. Rooms were comfortable and sufficiently quiet given the Old Town location. Staying at Mansion Boutique was such a treat. Glad we stayed there for 8 nights.

This hotel does not have an elevator so you will get your steps in! We did not find that to be a problem (we are all over 75). Moving luggage up to and down from our rooms was done gladly by the staff.

The Mansion is perfectly located in Old Town Bucharest. Close to the busy dining, shopping and nightlife pedestrian areas but on a quieter street. The reception area has lounge seating to gather with friends. Our room was the "Minimalist". The simple decor was refreshing. The room size was ample for two. Good storage. A very nice bath. Our windows overlooked the pedestrian street below but street sounds were minimal at night. The breakfast each day was wonderful. Fresh made coffee. Eggs, meat, bread, fruit, juice, etc. We ate several evenings at the hotel restaurant and would recommend it for food and service, especially since the streetside dining was in a less busy part of Old Town. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed every one of them. No cars allowed in Old Town so we carried our luggage about 100 yds from closest drop off/pick up. When we left, the staff happily helped carry our bags. If we are ever in Bucharest again, we would only look to stay at the Mansion. It was the perfect place.

Excellent location. Comfort room. Very good food. Good value for money.

    No elevator. Stairs to rooms.

It was very lean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly.

The hot part of the breakfast setup was usually not very hot.

Location and ambiance. Breakfast was very good.

The only downside is that the hotel has no elevators.

Location was great and ultimately bad because of the noise

Advertise AC but we didn’t find any… the lighting in the room was weak at best … the noise from the restaurant was terrible and no elevator was available to get to our 3rd floor room… it’s location in the historic city is great but you pay for it with banging noise from kitchen downstairs, the restaurant downstairs , and the clubs around the property…

    Great location, Beautiful location.

Just a word for people with mobility concerns, as I am. There is no elevator and the tub is difficult to use. You have to carry your luggage z2 blocks as is on pedestrian zomly street. Breakfast staff could be friendlier. There are steps again and I tried to balance a plate of food while using a cane and trying for handrail. Young woman just stood and watched me. She was on way down the steps too—she could have taken my plate. Happened 2 dayss.

Lovely Girl on reception when we arrived. Very polite and friendly, and helpful Lovely room.

The breakfast staff clearly didn't want to be there, which was evident in their service and it was lacking in options. What was available was nice. The restaurant in the hotel for dinner was closed due to Easter we were not aware of this until arrival. Parking is available, but it is not onsite. It's roughly 2 blocks away across the main road.

The locationThe Espresso prepared by Ana at breakfastMy large clean Bedroom/BathroomA bottle of 50 ml water dailyTV RAI 1 and 3 [Italian stations]Very good WiFi in the bedroom

No lift. 80 winding high steps each time to reach my room. [ At least the Staff take up/bring down the Luggage]Free toiletries non existent. Bathtub has a height of approx 18 inches = not ideal for a Senior.Breakfast repetitive for 5 straight days.

We were upgraded (I assume because we arrived at midnight) from Mansion Deluxe to Premium Mansion Deluxe - ZEN room. As far as I understand, the main difference is the room size (35 m2 instead of 25 m2) and the second floor instead of the third. All rooms are on the second or third floor (see attached map). There is no elevator in the hotel, but that was not a problem for us.The hotel is very beautiful inside and all the rooms are unique. The breakfast was good and sufficient, the Wi-Fi was great, the location was excellent and the room was perfect.

We knew this so this is just a reminder for other people: the hotel is located in a pedestrian area so it is about 100 meters from the taxi/bus stop to the hotel (for us it was not a problem). The minibar was too small and it was filled with different kinds of bottles and snacks, we had to remove some of them to make room for the food we bought from the 24-hour Carrefour (located 500 meters from the hotel)The TV size (32 inches) was too small to watch it from the bed, but we did not have time to use it (except for the Champions League matches), most of the time we spent outside the hotel enjoying Bucharest.

The staff was very nice and the room had a very interesting design

During the night and the early morning it was a little bit loud, I could hear the lady mopping the floor downstairs.
