Bucur Accommodation

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage facilities for clothes and luggage.Breakfasts were great and the metro was at a short walking distance.

Friendly staff, room was spotless, and the location was near the places I wanted to be.

Everything! I would go back to Bucharest just to stay at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the breakfasts were phenomenal. The front desk was very helpful in giving us directions and suggestions about what to see. The location was close to Old Town but far enough that it was quiet. There is a small market just across the street that was very convenient.One more thing about this property is the impressive art collection. The owner has impeccable taste.

Location is great, 10 min walk to old town, close to public transportation and convenience stores nearby. Staff was welcoming, accommodating and provided great customer service with our needs. Shout out to MARIA, she was awesome!!Rooms were clean and comfortable, Delicious breakfast buffet!

Location is excellent with easy access to the main attractions in Bucharest centre. Simple accommodations but clean and well maintained. Recommend getting the suite on 7th floor or the king room with balcony on the 6th floor

Good location within walking distance of Old Town and metro.We had to check out early in the morning for our flight. The staff kindly put together a go-bag with breakfast for us. Very nice touch and much appreciated!

Nothing really. Elevator a bit small so we had to go up one at a time if with luggage. But that seems to be pretty standard with elevators in older buildings.

Fantastic location, great bed and shower, pleasant rooms. Breakfast was very good and all the staff members were friendly and helpful, especially Maria. We loved our room and balcony on the 7th floor. It was so quiet, despite the central location.

There are 9 steps to get up to the lift, which stops on the 6th floor. If your room is on floor 7, you have another 18 steps up to get to your room.

Many Stairs ； random steps suddenly appear on hallways and between room and hallway ; elevator can accommodate only 1 person.

Bucur Accommodation facilities, staff and service were beyond our expectation. We transferred to Bucur from a nearby 4 star hotel for our trip extension. At booking, I was granted my request to store our luggage for a few days as we are travelling outside Romania and returning to the hotel. When we got there, the staff Maria was very helpful with the many luggages we need to store and there were 2 other hotel staff who lifted our luggages to the storage, which service we did not get in the other hotel. While the entrance to the hotel was rather small, we were surprised with the size of our room which is far bigger than the one we got at the other hotel for a higher price. When we returned, our room was even bigger. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and both rooms were already with breakfast which had good options. A grocery is nearby and many restaurants and places are just within walking distance. We also got assistance for a van to bring as to the airport. We got exceedingly good value for what we paid for. Many thanks to Maria for being so accommodating and helpful in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bucharest.

Excellent value for money. A great location away from the noise yet easy for walking to Old Town or taking an Uber right out of the front door. Top notch AC which is critical when it is 38C outside. Professional reception. A good buffet breakfast without having to wait for your turn.

I would have given 10/10 if it had not been for the last breakfast. Only giving 8/10 because of this kind of poor staff behaviour.A middle-aged lady with a long braid was in charge of the breakfast, but was deep into her phone while both coffee machines were out of order. I notified her and she said nothing and appeared annoyed by the distraction. She had not cleared the tray, filled the beans or water, and one needed cleaning. Her solution was to yell at people that only one was functioning (once she finally cleared it). She also kept on coming up to your plate with a stern "Have you finished ALREADY?!" and then regardless.took the plate away requiring you to fetch another.Management: please train your personnel on basic attitude abd behavior.

Location was great, every main attractions or landmarks are in walking distance. Room was comfy and very clean. The cleaners are very polite. Breakfast was good plenty of choices, lot of greens.

From the outside the hotel seems a bit run down. However, do not be fooled. Inside it is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very very good, and I am not a breakfast person. Rooms were well equipped and the WiFi was top. Highly recommend.

Location was very close to the old city. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, sweet buns, vegetables, cold cuts and cheese. Various types of coffee and tea. We received a very good map of Bucharest. Very safe, locked in day and night. Facing inner courtyard, quiet. Clean, good shower.

Very small elevator, no balcony or rooftop sitting area. Room with sitting area, also used for bedding storage.
