Pros +
- Hotel rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. The most I like about the property is staff, very friendly and keen to help customers, in case of need try do the best.
- Very clean, big room, excellent breakfast
- It's situated at a very good location with some markets nearby. Generally a good place to stay at medium to high level budget but isn't a great value if you're looking for a Luxury kind of stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. View is okay. Washrooms are clean but basic.
Cons -
- Hot water pressure was very low, firstly we were at the 5th floor and it wasnt possible to get shower, then changed our room to the first floor, it was better than before but again wasnt normal. Couldn’t enjoy the shower. Location is not so central, a bit far from center lucky taxi was cheap :)
- I got upgraded to a bigger room but tv was on the side of the bed where you can watch it from the bed! Inconvenient ! The room was facing the street where in the morning there was disturbing noise of the traffic.Also in the early morning the house keeping maid was loudly speaking on the phone woke me up from my sleep. The intercontinental breakfast buffet used to be better. Less to offer today.
- The air conditioning was off for the entire hotel, apparently it is only turned on during the summer period. And so the room was very warm, a fan was kindly provided but it was still really warm in the room, would’ve been nice to adjust the AC in the room.

Great service and friendly staff, good location with easy access to the airport/city centre and local shops, good breakfast and gym facilities.

Good size of the room, the fact that there is a small fitness room
Very noisy room if the windows are on the boulevard
The location is central but next to a huge street so it’s very noisy. The room was not so comfy and I could hear the cars at night. The shower had mold, the shower head was broken and smelling mold. In consequence there was a lot of water on the floor. The breakfast was ok. The man at the reception was nice.
Clean and comfortable
Nothing - I had a late check-in and an early departure and all handled well.
Clean, perfect location, excellent staff, good price
Breakfast could be more diversed
First time I stayed here in 2013-2014. I will always recommend this hotel. The bed is comfortable, the room is cozy, clean and spatious. The batroom, too. Good and varried breakfast as always. We’ll always book this hotel when we come to Bucharest.
Parking is a little small and it costs 80 RON /day. I think it’s overpriced but it is very hard to find a good parking in Bucharest.
Nice location, nice staff, clean, comfortable room and bed; good food;
It was a little noisy outside - ambulances and trams;The hot water was not smooth, it was interrupted by a cold one;
I stay here often and I will come back.
I had to leave early for the airport and could not order a coffee before 7am. It's only a small thing, the hotel is lovely and staff and customer service is very good.
Good location Good sized bedroom Nice towels and toiletries Good bar/ restaurant Nice friendly staff who spoke English
NothingIt was a very good experience
To my surprise the room was much bigger than expected, clean, quiet, nothing to complain.
Breakfast was a bit poor, more vegetables would be a bonus. I failed to find the butter but that's maybe just me too sleepy in the morning.
Friendly reception, really stood out. Nice rooms. Market right next door.
Breakfast was mediocre. Weird food selections, such as blue/white cheese platter? Frozen cake, nothing stood out as fresh or tasty except the coffee machine. 2/5New years eve was loud, the hotel had hosted a party that went until 4am. No notice about this.
Clean, close and convenient!
The hotel was very clean and it was very warm inside.
There was no WiFi
Very Good
Thank you upgrade the room. But that room was cold. heating system doesn't work well.
room smaller than the usual one I get, traveling quite often with Capital Plaza accommodation in Bucharest
Convenient location for city centre (5 min walk from metro) and from airport
The rooms were relatively clean but grubby in places - eg shower caddy was very dirty and my drinking glass and coffee cup also filthy. I also had to fix the shower door so that it didn't leak water all over the floor. Our rooms faced the VERY busy road - recommend you ask for inside rooms. It was quite sunny when we went so our rooms were very warm. When we asked about room cooling we were advised to leave our window open at night as the A/C was now on winter warming so no cool air. When we advised about the noise (ambulance sirens - there's so many - and trams - so noisy - finish at midnight and start at 5am) we were told nothing they could do. Any fans? No. Change rooms? No. Then had not one but two fire alarms go off during that night. Given the pillows were lumpy and the bed very springy it was a night of even less sleep. No apologies and no explanation re the alarms were offered in the morning. Showers were two temperatures - hot then cold then hot then cold again, but I'm told that's the norm - so be warned! The staff on the desk were generally friendly as were the bar staff - very helpful and went the extra mile. The breakfast staff however clearly weren't morning people. The manager was so sour and miserable he made Basil Fawlty look like Michael McIntyre! It’s a very ‘masculine’ hotel if that makes sense.
