Capitol Hotel

The room was amazing!!! The staff was very helpful. My husband was impressed when the staff came in to make the bed and folded his clothes. Excellent service. Everyone was eager to help! We will definitely choose the same hotel for our stay in the future.

The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Bucharest. Everything is clean, the rooms are excellent, and the food in the dining area is outstanding.The staff is polite, but not always welcoming: they do not always smile or greet guests, even at the reception desk. This was the only issue that bothered me.

Never slept better than on this one. Like sedated :). Great location, staff, breakfast, WIFI. Fast check in and check out.

Central heating station was on automatically every night. Even when in October it was not necessary in my opinion.

I travel all over the world. I truly appreciate when a country has its unique flavor. I absolutely loved this hotel because it had Romanian touch. Breakfast was all Romanian food and some dishes were truly incredible authentic. Whoever manages this place is very smart. As a tourist I was very happy to see that this kind of places still exist!

Great old school hotel in a great location. Easy walk into the old town with plenty of cafe and restaurant options in the area. Didnt eat at the restaurant but was busy so I'm sure it's probably good. Great breakfast as well and the staff were great.

Great location, with perfect staff at reception - they were extremely helpful with advice and arranging a taxi. The breakfast was very rich and varied, which was a big plus.

Wonderful location, exactly on the pedestrian street (only during weekends). Room was good with all the amenities, bed comfortable and breakfast quite good.

Parking outside on the street, only 10 parkings available, make sure if you’re coming by car to book your parking in advance. But hotel is managing well, our parking was booked when we came.Also on weekends the road will be closed, only pedestrians, not easy to access the hotel by car.

Internet connection was not the best. Staff at the reception desk was not kind nor helpful

The location is top and the overall atmosphere; room was very big with a nice view on the square. Breakfast was rich and OK.

Maybe the bathroom was a little bit small, but for a night perfectly OK.

The location us excellent. We could by feet go to a « free » tour and rent a car at avis 10mn from the hotel. The breakfast is good. There are many choices even vegan ones.

The smell in the room wasn’t good. At check in we were told the booking doesn’t include breakfast and this wasn’t true. We had to prove it.

Great central location, comfortable rooms, very friendly/helpful staff. We checked in at 2am and realised we had mistakenly booked a double room. We’re good friends, but not THAT good friends. The staff went out of their way to help and find a twin room, even at 2am when it would’ve been easy to say your mistake, your problem. Excellent service!

The location is really good, the parking is not free but you can make a reservation. The stuff was friendly and helped us park, considering how narrow and crowded was the spot

The towels were dirty, the elevators smell bad, the breakfast was horrible. Everything smells like sausages. Hardly a 4-star hotel, more like a 2-3 star. The TV had a very bad resolution, we couldn`t watch anything.
