Clean, confortable, good location

The hotel is placed in a urban area where you get the actual feeling of the city as it is, not the tourist version. It was comfortable and quiet, even though it was very close to a main street artery. The room had everything we needed for a short stay. Great communication with the host, very easy check-in process.

The place does need some ongoing upkeep, but overall we had a great experience and didn’t run into any problems during our stay.

There have been a couple of issues that I had to deal with during my stay and unfortunately have not been resolved. Ants in the room and the bathroom, and a bad smell in the bathroom coming from the sewer. I reported it without a successful treatment.

Good location, close to shops and restaurants, short trip from airport. Night check in was arranged which was very usefull due to flight delay. Room was clean and comfortable.

Location and cleanliness

The heating was turned off (usually so in Bucharest in May, but the weather was really cold and windy) somehow unpleasant when you got a 18 Month child.

Room was very nice and clean.

The room on the GF was very noisy.

That said, the staff was very kind and accommodating. My flight was delayed, and although they couldn’t extend my stay by the full 5 hours I requested due to other bookings, they kindly allowed me to stay in the room for an extra 1.5 hours, which I really appreciated.

I travel often for work, and while Lagom Hotel is in a great central location and offers a clean and modern environment, I noticed a few small details were missing. For example, there were no separate face towels, and there was no shelf or support inside the shower to place your toiletries, which would have been helpful.

Comfy and very clean.

Floors were very squeaky, woke up when people going to the toilet in the night/early morning.

Excellent location (Victoriei Square at 15 min walking distance, The Triumphal Arch at 20 min walking distance). Nice to have parking on the street side. Pretty quiet location aside from the main street. Quite easy access at only 50m from the main street. Very friendly owner/host, good communication via phone/SMS for all needed details.

A couple of glass made glasses would have been appreciated. A bottle opener (wine and beer) would have made things easier. A small esspresso machine (like Nesspresso, Dolce Gusto, etc.) would have been a real treat.

Great room, great location for transportation, restaurants and attractions. The room was very clean and cozy. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything is fine!

The information of how to get into the properly was sent promptly.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we noticed that the door handle was broken and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Although no apology was offered, we were told we could move to another room. On the last day of our stay, we were disturbed by loud and long-lasting “adult” noises coming from a neighboring room, which made me question whether the lingering cigarette smell and the hair I found on the pillow were signs that this hotel might be used for purposes other than regular accommodation.

The Apparent was clean and it has a balcony. It’s an old house but nicely renovated in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We did not use the kitchen but there is a supermarket Mega Image very close which is 24/7 open. Public Transport is also very good. From Airport you need to take bus 100 to Piata Victoriei and from there you can walk or take the Bus.

Previous guests have smoked in the apartment :((

Good location, fairly clean.

We got the worst room in the entire hotel (room 6) which is underneath a loft studio that was built on the cheap, with no sound insulation. You could hear everything happening above, and that combined with a rowdy group of lads coming back at 3-4 am made for a memorable stay for all the wrong reasons.There is no lift, so people with a lot of luggage would probably struggle a bit.

In the center, but quiet, warm and with all amenities

Pros: Convenient location, comfy rooms, helpful personnel. Cons: No elevator, we did not find a place to clean the dishes.

Everything was ok

I stayed here for only a few hours, and overall, the experience was decent. The rooms are nice, very clean, and well-maintained, including the bathrooms. Hot water was readily available, and I appreciated the complimentary tea, instant coffee, and water. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great.However, it's important to note that this is not a hotel—despite the name. It operates more like a professionally managed Airbnb or guesthouse. While it is very clean and includes housekeeping with fresh towels, there is no reception, no restaurant, and no breakfast option. If you need to eat early, you’ll have to wait until nearby restaurants open around 9-10 AM.One major downside is the poor soundproofing—you can hear everything happening in the hallway, and other guests arriving or leaving may disturb your sleep. Additionally, there is no elevator, which can be inconvenient for those with luggage or strollers. The rooms are quite small, the floor was cold, and the room door didn’t feel very solid and was difficult to lock.If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay and don’t need hotel-style amenities, this could be a good option. But if you expect a traditional hotel experience with full services, this might not be the right choice.
