- The room is big and confortable. Confortable bed.Friendly staff.Great location, I love Piata Amzei.Very good value for money, good price for Bucharest center

Cons -
- Deodorant too strong in the room. The room a bit outdated. The room key cards demagnetize in a few hours.
- it was very cold in the room approx 16C as it seems heating was not working- they offered an electrical heater in the room.
- The parking lot is extremely small - only for 3 cars, luckily there are always free spots in the city parking nearby and they are cheaper. There is no restaurant in the hotel.

This hotel has a good location, pretty close to the city center. The breakfast was decent, typical buffet with tasty Romanian food. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the carpet was fluffy but old. I wish there were more outlets. Strangely all the windows (2 in the room and 1 in the bathroom) opened onto a ventilation shaft, so no view.
The parking lot is extremely small - only for 3 cars, luckily there are always free spots in the city parking nearby and they are cheaper. There is no restaurant in the hotel.
The staff was super helpful and kind. The parking space may seem pricy, but we highly recommend taking it - finding a parking space in Bucharest can be a nightmare!
There was only one key card for the both of us, which also enables electricity, so you have to go out together or be available to open the door for the other person who goes out. Also, a few spiders in the bathroom.
Location
Parking issue. Lines bakery next door at ground floor windows.
This was my second one-week stay in Atrium Hotel Ateneu over the past two months (July/August). Here's what I liked that made me a repeat customer:1. Perfect Location. Great location in the Amezi neighborhood within short walking distance to Calea Victoriei and Bulevardul Magheru. Within this neighborhood, and at your fingertips, there are multiple restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, two grocery stores (Mega Image), coffee shops, pizza and gyro takeouts, and two Lebanese food restaurants. Right up the street, thee are three excellent ice cream/gelato outlets: Sweetology, Velocita and Gelateria Romero. Also, there is an excellent (and low price!) patisserie take-out right outside the main entrance, and the closest subway station Piata Romana is a short walk up the street. Can't beat this location!2. Great Staff. The staff are friendly, helpful and laid back, giving this property a relaxed and homey atmosphere. Theodor, Flori and Raluca all did great jobs checking in/out, answering questions and giving recommendations. Special thanks to Flori for her multiple recommendstions of non-touristy places to check out!3. Breakfast. Not overly elaborate, but a good variety of choices at a very reasonable price.4. Coffee/tea hot water kettle in room. Perfect for frequent coffee/tea drinkers and much better than othet hotel-provided coffee makers, which frequently don't even work correctly.5. Good Value for Price.Overall, I recommend Atrium/Ateneu for its excellent location, good value and friendly/helpful staff. I will book here again when visiting Bucharest.
1. Some street noise at night in rooms that have street-facing windows.. Not too excessive or a deal breaker.2. Some door noise from hallway doors of other visitors. Not sure this can be fixed, since this is a function of how the doors close and the.marble hallway floors. Not too excessive or a deal breaker.
Liked:1. Excellent location in Amezi neighborhood. Close to shops, restaurants, metro station and Calea Victoriei.2. Water kettle in room to make coffee/tea.3. Comfortsble bed.4. Friendly and helpful staff.5. Good breakfast.6. Large room.7. Comfy and old world atmosphere.8. Good value!9. Laundry service if needed.10. In-room safe.
Disliked:1. Some noise at night from room facing street.
Location, Friendly staff speaks English and space in the room
Location on the route chosen. Large room, bathroom to, Well done interior furnishing.Everything was clean, sufficient for longer stay. Breakfast continental style, variation of eggs, cheese, sausages, fruits, ...Breakfast room nice atmosphere, quite and good illuminated on ground floor.
No ,matter of complaining.
Location. Friendly staff; good breakfast.
Locatiin,, clean, good breakfast
It was like a little prison. The only window of the room was opening into a sort of a well, less than two by two metters. It was dark, claustrofobic and no warning about it. Before you book make sure you don't get such a room
Spacious room, relatively quiet, excellent location. I also enjoyed the breakfast.
I come back here often because it's just perfect for my needs. The location Is great if you want to explore Bucharest. You are close to the central attractions, to the underground station and bus station. However, the place is quiet, very clean, and organized. Staff members have been very friendly and helpful.
I have nothing to complain about.
The only positive aspects are the location, the on-site parking (though it’s tiny and fits only 3 cars), and the reception staff.
The rooms are old and not clean. We even found an empty wine bottle under the bed.The breakfast room is cramped, and the breakfast itself is disappointing. It's a shame because, being in the city center, you'd expect a different and more well-maintained establishment.
The location is very good city centre, perfect to reach any point in Bucharest.
The breakfast wasn't good, low options
Very nice little hotel, spacious rooms, staff is extraordinary, perfect location, excellent neighborhood!
You seriously can’t beat the location—right in the middle of everything, we walked everywhere! The place has all the right vibes and amenities. Big shoutout to the young guy at reception who helped me track down my lost sunglasses and kept our luggage safe while we wandered the city—with 4 MacBooks in there, so yeah, major trust points. Super friendly staff, great energy. Would totally stay again!
Too bad we only stayed one day…
If travelling to Bucharest stay here. Cannot fault anything. (Did not have breakfast so can't comment on that). Reception staff really friendly, courteous and can't do enough for you. Rooms are a good size and comfortable with all that you will need for your stay. Within walking distance to old town and a the tourist places
