The cleanliness of the room

The hotel seemed quite empty, the roof top bar was never open in the evening. Also the bed made a lot of noise.

The room is very cozy and comfortable. Bathroom was super clean and had so many mirrors. Cool room number and door design.

The floor mat or whatever is on the floor is strange feel barefoot but not problematic

No Tea/Coffee making facilities.Reception staff were very friendly but a littleInexperienced and sometimes couldn’t fulfil our request. I had ordered something specific for our room on arrival as it was my husbands birthday and it wasn’t there, and when I asked they had no record of the order, even though I had confirmation.

Breakfast is basic, but okay, The staff at the reception desk, particularly Ioan and Claudio, are superb, competent, and very helpful, and they do their best to ensure the guests have the best experience possible. Location is excellent, especially for those wishing to explore the old town on foot, which is the best way to see the place. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean and modern.

There is a bit too much noise at night from the traffic passing by until late at night and from very early in the morning.

The hotel was easily located and was as described. Staff were helpful and the hotel was tidy overall

It was a little basic, for example the floor isn't carpeted, it's like a plastic lino. Probably more like a three star hotel

Beautiful room with a balcony, clean, doors that open so you can lay on our bed and enjoy the view

Kettle in the room would have been nice and extra pillows in the cupboard. The minibar was slightly warm too

Perfect location for us. 5 min walk to the bars and a short walk to the beautiful, historic buildings. Clean rooms and communal areas. Friendly staff. Cheap but basic breakfast. Good shower.

Breakfast was served in the reception area not the top floor as advertised which was a shame. The lift could only serve 3 people at a time so we used the stairs a lot (group of 4) but we were only on the 2nd floor so it wasn't a big deal. The stairs are the emergency exit stairs.

Wonderful hotel, in the heart of old town Bucharest.Good size rooms and stylish bathrooms.Love the Sky Bar location used for breakfast. In summer, there is a little terrace there as well.The best asset of the hotel is the wonderful staff! Very kind and friendly and at breakfast they quickly knew my coffee preference and offered to refill.On the downside, found the bed a little too soft, but all in all, it was a very comfortable stay and will return for sure.Would be nice to have a plug near the desk, as I had to work during my stay.

The floors weren’t carpet or tile; they felt like a bit like linoleum but not quite.

The hotel is located in the old town and is really convenient for many of the tourist attractions and bars/restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious and clean

ac was broken, sky bar closed all the time, bathrooms at reception not working.

The curtains were taken off for laundry and we were told about this AFTER we checked-in and we asked at the reception about them. Obviously the light was an issue in the morning.Also, the fridge was not working, which meant that the desserts we wanted to keep cold overnight went off. Without these 2 significant issues, I would have been very happy and might have booked again.

Good location and close to restaurants

No curtains in the room which meant those outside could see directly in. We were told these were in the laundry and would be put up the following morning, for the duration of our stay there were no curtains. There was also cellotape holding the floorboards up and the room phone did not work. There was a serious incident with guests in an adjacent room in the early hours of the morning (2-4am) impacting on our safety and the safety of other guests on the floor, this was not dealt with appropriately by staff and both myself and my friend had to repeatedly ask reception to address this. Overall this was a poor experience.

The bed is so uncomfortable.

Clean, city center (although the entrance is from some underpass).

Had to extend my stay by one night, approached the reception directly. Later mailed them about the invoice, but never received a response, even after multiple reminders. So they only care until you pay, but once you stepped out, you aren’t their problem anymore. It’s the first hotel in my 200+ stays that doesn’t answer emails.

Clean but basic and in a great location. Bathroom was spotless

Please don't advertise a bar when there is none. As a solo female traveller, this would have been perfect for me to have a quiet drink without worry and it safety of my room.. Also, there is no tea n coffee facilities considering its a 4 star hotels, and with an ample mini bar, this should be a priority.

Wonderful breakfast choices of a variety of foods and (nonalcoholic) beverages. Adrian, the person who was in charge of preparing the teas and coffees and who was also preparing some of the foods was super nice and helpful

The-one thing i did not appreciate was the need to place the card key into a provided slot (inside the room)to activate all electrical outlets and lights. I wish that wasn’t necessary, but just a minor nuisance

Fab location and very clean rooms

There are no plugs near any mirrors in the bedroom, no mirror on the dressing table. Towels were very small. Only 1 pillow and the beds aren't very comfortable.

The location was very good as it was very close by many attractions that can be reached on foot. Bus and metro routes were also a short walk away.

Unfortunately the lift was out of order, and it seems from other reviews that this is not a new occurrence. Whilst this did not cause any issues for me as my room was on the 2nd floor, I didn’t bother making use of the included breakfast as the breakfast hall was on the 7th floor. Otherwise the room was clean and had all necessary amenities. Friendly staff and fab location and was still value for money.
