    Pros +

    • Nic place to stay right in the beautiful old town of Rothenburg!!
    • The food and the restaurant staff were great!
    • Great location, clean rooms and excellent service.

    Cons -

    • There is no electric kettle for tea, which is pretty basic in most hotels even ones that don’t have microwaves. Parking is very inconvenient and when walking back from the parking lot at night the street is not well lit.
    • I paid a lot of money for this room for 5 days and the TV had only two English speaking channels and no movies no music and it was a shame and I contacted the hotel staff and they blew it off!
    • The parking situation sucked! Our room was an emergency exit. Should have been told that especially since I booked in May.

The Prinzhotel is absolutely fabulous! We loved our room, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed there on Nikolausabend, and they even left chocolate treats at the room door for our kids, and they had Lebkuchen treats at the front desk.

    Nothing!

Quiet, private spot right next to the city wall and close to everything.

Strong smell of mold in the hallways. The room smelled fine.It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room.

Location is great. It was right by the old city wall, which gives a good feel. Timbered traditional German facade with flower boxes, but modern inside. It's also close to most of the main attractions. Staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early without charging us any extra. Breakfast was exceptional. The provided us with a sheet to fill out our preferences for what we wanted and time for it to be ready. I expected it to be a typical buffet, but found that it was made to order and they were ready for us when we arrived. They do not have long term parking right near the hotel, but there is a public lot that is relatively close by, but outside the city walls. Easy access to the lot is provided by a opening in the old walls. We were able to park outside and load bags in the local spaces, and do the reverse when leaving.

    Location

it was a small wall AC for 2 rooms and it barely runs . Worse than a fan . They charge around 300 euros for this . It’s not worth to stay . Better to have a day trip from Munich . Avoid at any cost

Reasonably priced, great location, big bathtub, accommodating with a child cot!

    Not enough electric outlets

Very clean, tidy and close to square. Owner of this hotel are awesome. He is and his wife is very friendly , hospital and smiley at all times. They are Biker friendly, and helped me a lot storing my bike. They are also great bikers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

    Pleasant

Noisy. Thin walls.Very little powerplugs. Only 1 at the door.

Excellent location, just inside the city wall but perfectly situated next to a large parking area. Good service and a really nice evening meal. Room was spacious and modern decoration.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Expensive but bare minimum selection of food and over cooked sausages and bacon. Far better choice would have been to walk to one of the many bakeries doing nice breakfast options.

Worth booking a pricier room with a town view. My room was by the city wall near one of the city gates (Thomas). With an open window you could hear the evening/morning bells. The town is pretty quiet overnight. The hotel has very little public parking, but management was quite clear with instructions to find overnight parking just a few minutes (outside the ancient town walls) nearby.

Room was hot although weather was so cold. Hotel restaurant Not so far to the center by walk

One person was in charge for the reception and breakfast in the morning. So tough for the responsible person

We liked it a lot and will come back there again this year. It was quiet, roomy, beds were great. We had two communicating rooms with our kids. Bathrooms were clean and we had all necessary.

The restaurant at the hotel was closed the two days we were in town.

Warm and comfortable and a great location in the historic centre but close to the railway station too. I have rarely slept so well, really quiet room despite being so central. Good views from the rooms of the famous city walls.

Breakfast was too expensive at €22 - I passed on it.
