Hotel Tilman Riemenschneider by ANS

We were there in Rothenberg for the Christmas Market and this hotel was in a perfect place. The staff was great, the food was excellent and the room cleaned promptly not long after we left in the morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting R

Great location. Lovely staff. The restaurant was above average.

Parking was a few blocks away but they sent someone with you to find it so not a big deal.

The staff are fabulous! Hotel employee are wonderful

My favorite hotel ever.

Friendly and clean

Very nice people, went out of their way to help us.

Hotel employee is fabulous. The staff are absolutely wonderful.

It was PERFECT!

In walking distance to everything in the city center.Staff was very helpful. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was great!

The bed pillows were very small and too soft.

Breakfast was perfect! Great variety of hot as well as cold foods. The coffee was great as well! Loved the location and that it was a step away from the town center and activity...very walkable distance! Also, though the parking was off site the attendant made it very easy to drop of luggage when arriving and getting the car after checkout. Private Garage was covered and secure---outstanding!

Beds were harder than my husband and I are used to. Also, 2 steps up to the elevator and again 2-3 steps up a hall that lead to our room. Most people can handle with ease but I have difficulty maneuvering any steps at this time.

Everything. Staff super helpful, room very comfortable, breakfast very good.

Nothing could have been better.

Very kind staff, charming accommodations, fantastic location

Very quintessential medieval Germany. Amazing location. Comfy beds. Great included breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Staff were always helpful and cheery. Room was lovely, especially the canopy bed. Breakfast was robust.

The mattress was extremely hard and we tossed and turned to avoid a bruise.

Staff behavior, location, accessibility and cleanness.

The room was beautiful, spacious and clean

Beautiful, quaint hotel in the heart of Rothenburg. Extremely helpful staff. Clean, well appointed rooms. Excellent location.

As is common with most rooms in Europe, the temperature was a bit warm and difficult to manage via opening/closing the windows.

Excellent location.. A short walk to the Christmas markets and sights.

It says they have parking for a fee but they encourage you to use the public parking lot outside the city walls. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Rooms desperately needed updating and were musty upon arrival.

Everything is so perfect! The building and its history. The furniture! How everything is taken care in details. What a dream of place to stay in Rothenburg!

Excellent location in town - steps away from the wall and all shops including The Christmas Market. Convenient parking, FULL breakfast spread and restaurant property too. What we liked most was that while many other properties have modernized their rooms - this hotel has maintained the charm of traditional hotels with painted wooden furniture and decor.

Nothing!

The location is GREAT! Breakfast included was wonderful. Parking (offsite) is available and totally secure. The staff is extremely helpful and very welcoming, it is like staying in a family home.

Nothing, this is our second visit and I love it.

The location is excellent! It is close to everything. The breakfast was good with breads, eggs, bacon, cereals, some veggies, yogurt. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. Bathroom was clean.

The mattress was not so good. It is old and uncomfortable. It seemed to have a bit of a ridge in the center on my side of the bed. One lady at the desk was quite nice, the other was less so, but not mean.
