The breakfast was delicious, and they always offered to refill the platters. Great bread and coffee! The room was so clean and lovely. Everything I needed. It is a perfect little room in the central part of town. Perfect for a solo traveler.

Nothing hot or fresh for breakfast, but I know this can be difficult for smaller establishments so I understand. I would have loved to have access to drinking water and didn't get any info about this. Also, the cafe part of the name is misleading because the cafe was closed the whole time I was there.

The room was large by European standards and had very recently undergone a renovation. It was bright and clean and the WC was modern and well equipped. Inside the "Old Fortress Walls" it was a great place to venture out to explore the city. The included breakfast was amazing and included a selection of sausage, cheeses and buns. Youghurt both natural and flavoured was available as well as a selection of fresh fruit. There also was a coffee machine that had a number of selections like lattes etc., but also black coffee for people such as I. Several types of dry cereal were also available and the hosts would also provide scrambled eggs for those who wished them. The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. A great place to stay!!!

Great small family-operated hotel that opened just three months ago in a terrific location, right in the Old Town of Rothenburg, and at the same time not further than a 10-minute walk to the train station. And because it just opened, everything is clean, fresh, modern, and smells good. Breakfasts was also pretty good. Highly recommend it!

It's a lovely B&B in the middle of Rothenburg, nice location and easy self check-in process. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is okay, not much of a selection.

The hotel is ideally situated to explore Rothenburg. There is private parking which was a plus. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The room is bigger than most I have stayed in while in Europe. The breakfast was good. You get a choice of how you want your eggs. The fried egg was the best I have had in a long time.

We liked the location. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious.

The sign of the hotel is Hocher hotel, not Goller, which is misleading.

This hotel is located in Rothenburg which is a walled medieval city. It is a lovely place to stay. We had free parking on site which was nice since parking in Germany is pretty pricey. There was an automated check in system with keys for both the outside door and your own room. The breakfast was lovely and the people serving breakfast were super kind.

Great location. Stayed here back in '95 and it's just as good as I remembered. Really big room with multiple windows to give you good air movement in the evening. (Europe was having a heat wave during my vacation). Breakfast was really good as was the staff. I would recommend this place highly.

It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful, self checkin easy to do, comfortable beds and clean rooms, delicious breakfast :)

Great location right in the old town, close access to everything. Wifi kept dropping out, you have to constantly reconnect, not reliable. There are 5 parking spots available, first in gets priority. There was no hair-dryer in my room. Walls are thin, you can hear the people talking next door. Minimal road traffic.Another pillow would have been nice. Heating works well. Great shower. Great breakfast.

We only spent a night there so we can't say much. The location is pretty good, there are good restaurants and cafe nearby (2 mins walk). The self check-in process is not complicated. And the hotel has the basic necessities (except toothbrush & toothpaste).

The mattress is for us a little too soft, but this is just our personal preference :)

I used to be stationed in Germany many years ago. I booked this hotel on the reviews of the breakfast...and it was the most amazing German breakfast...exactly how I remembered. The assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereals, jams, drinks (and an egg, cooked to your liking)The owner spoke excellent English, and spoke with all of his guests. Amazing customer service. The check in was automated, and very easy to use. When you make your reservation, screenshot the code that is sent to you. Very easy process. The buildings in Rothenburg are very old. The room we had was updated...but understand none of them are going to be modern. (When I lived in Germany, bathrooms used to be down the hall, and shared.)There is also a restaurant down the side street that has the most amazing dinner. Great location, great service, great value, and an even better breakfast.

It was nice after travelling for a while, to find a little, quiet room at a reasonable price where to refresh myself and get a good night sleep and a good breakfast. The room was simple but perfect for my needs. Breakfast was appropriate for the place, I didn't feel anything was missing. Location is great, in the city centre and just a 10 min walk from the train station.

The place itself is dated, the bathroom especially. The shower had to be climbed in, a good 30/40 cm from the floor. Breakfast was good but a bit too late. I wanted to take an 8.05 am train but had to wait for the breakfast at 8, so had to rethink my trip a bit.

The location was handy, non-staff check in was impersonal and meant you couldn’t store luggageBreakfast was good and breakfast staff were nice

    No staff at reception

location in the old town, close to everything.Just be aware that it means you will have the noise from the town as well. we had a nice room to the street, but that meant noise, which is what must be expected. nice breakfast. close to the freeway.

private parking were occupied and we had to park in public parking a bit away. The beds were a little bit too soft.
