We stay for new years from the 29 to the 4th of January 2026, the hotel amazing, the room wonderful, location excellent a few steps from every point of interest. but the best part of our stay was two things: the food and the amazing service of all the people that work at the hotel. Phillip from the restaurant excellent service and attention. the chef Sasha amazing food. But really who makes the difference is Jenges from the Hotel, his kind personality and the help and attention he brings to the customers is amazing we were really happy and make our stay more pleasant and easy. thanks Jengens for all you're help and attention given to my family. thanks for make a difference in our trip.
BETTER WIFI.
Cengiz was amazing. He was very helpful and he did it all. He was a check-in guy, he was the valet, he was our waiter. He’s what made everything better.
We paid for two premium rooms. One room was beautiful and very nice. The other room was not worth $450 per night! The carpet had stains all over the carpet. It was disgusting. Also, the hotel needs to have some maintenance.
Service was very good as was the breakfast.
Internet did not work in our room.
Very good and specious room, great location. Very good and helpful service. Good breakfast. Unique experience
Cengis is an absolute gem of a person! He is the star of the show here. So helpful from check in to check out. He’s personable and so incredibly helpful. The property itself is a wonderfully maintained property that we so enjoyed.
The WiFi was a little slow but by the end of the day so was I. So no big issue.
The best location for a Rothenburg stay. Beautiful property in the heart of the most idyllic town. So quiet and peaceful in the evening. Friendly helpful staff who have excellent recommendations and park your car for you during your stay. Definitely go on the Night Watch tour
I stayed in the apartment that is connected to the hotel, but is down the street from it (which wasn't clear through Booking.com) and is a mild inconvenience, but it worked out fine. The private apartment more than made up for it -- sparkling clean, nice amenities, very comfortable bed, quality linens and towels. The included breakfast (in the hotel building) is lovely, an actual table service breakfast and the made-to-order food was fresh and delicious -- especially the eggs and bacon! The staff is kind and caretaking. There are nice bonuses included, such as a welcome drink, bottled water in the room and handmade truffles as a parting gift. I traveled around Germany for two weeks and this was the nicest hotel I stayed in. The hotel and apartment are both centrally located, right off the main square.
It didn't really bother me, but there is a big step down into the bathroom.
Beautiful room and lovely garden
WiFi was too slow. Staff Said they are working on it.
Travel is even better when you find a place like Hotel Herrnschloesschen! Being greeted with the warmth of just what you imagine a Christmas market town to be! Located in the heart of historical and top notch maintained Rothenburg was a highlight of our European travels. Couldn’t ask for a better host than Gengis! Wow!
The location within the town was perfect! Just down from the main square, access to all the shops, dining and a short walk to the wall. Our stay we in room #1 and it was exactly what we were looking for. This room has 3 windows looking down onto the street and the church across from it. The wood beams just set it off perfectly... "A throwback in time" I truly recommend this room! The breakfast was very good. The staff and management we're great from the time we arrived. First we were given a choice of a beverage and my lady had a glass of wine and I a beer. We a great place to stay at.
The only thing we wish was the back garden area was more freshened up for being early fall to sit in. It looks like it could be a beautiful place to lounge in.
The atmosphere was extremely relaxing. The staff was excellent and very attentive to our needs! I can not recommend enough! The views from our room were unbelievable!
The only negative, if you want to see it is the stairs are very steep and there is no lift.
The breakfast menu was good and the food was tasty The location of this hotel is very nice and in the middle of the town center.
At breakfast we asked fried eggs without a runny yoke, which was confirmed by our waitress. Unfortunately, the yokes were very runny, which was dissapointing. The parking places were pretty far from the hotel, and i had to walk from the places to the hotel twice. When opening the hotel room window, the whole window fell out of it's frame.
Top-notch room and restaurant, absolutely one of the best places we've stayed. Super comfortable, right off the Markt, close to everything.
Nothing not to like.
The service by both the individual that checked us in and served us breakfast/chedked us out were top notch. Very spacious rooms and generous amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were super clean and comfy.
Location was close to many of the shops, main square, and close to the wall walk. Staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Food was good and the room was really nice.
Check in took a little bit longer than we would have liked, the floorboards were incredibly creaky and made a lot of noise when you walked on them.
Attentive staff. Charming property. Excellent breakfast. Cenvig and Phillipe were both extremely helpful and welcoming.
