Pros +
- The hotel is a little bit remote from the main cities in Puglia. Personally, I enjoyed the remote part because it was extremely quiet. On the other hand, we always had to drive to all objectives.Nevertheless, the staff was extremely warm, positive and extremely eager to help us. Moreover, the fine-dinning restaurant was delicious.
- The hotel and property is beautiful! The staff was so wonderful. I really like that there is a free shuttle into the town. My family and I felt very well taken care of. The restaurant was also very nice! And Room service was quick.
- Charming location. We stayed here the night before travel and it was perfect for that purpose (about 1 hour from Bari airport). Pleasant staff. Nice breakfasts on the terrace.
Cons -
- The food in the restaurant is way too complicated and not very good. The staff is lovely. For lunchtime at our café food is not very good. Either and service is very slow. The staff is very nice and the place is beautiful.
- The hotel feels a bit rusty.
- Needs some upgrades. Furniture seems worn a bit.

Layout, outdoor pool, sauna
We loved the property, the pool, the spacious room and balcony. The staff were welcoming and very helpful! The area was beautiful and very peaceful with flowering trees and plants, stone walls, historic buildings, vineyards, olive groves and farms and a beautiful view of the sea. We enjoyed biking on the small winding roads( bikes were available from hotel!). It was a quick drive to Polignano. The breakfasts were incredible! Sunsets spectacular.
Loved everything
Very special structure, in the middle of nature, amazingly preserved, great rooms, facilities- bikes for free, got an upgrade to a suite- it was beautiful, very large, lots of space, private garden and a lot of places to sit outside
A bit isolatedYou have to get by with a car
It is a beautiful countryside resort with lovely accommodations and staff. We ate dinner twice at the restaurant and it was quite good. Breakfast offering is complete and tasty. Also used the spa for facial and body scrub-superb. There is a shuttle that can take you to and from the sea
The gym was quite small. Has some free weights, 10 kg max. and 1 weight machine but that was not working. A few cardio machines.
So peaceful, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were just wonderful! We really enjoyed the spa and the pool was quiet and very calm.
Lunches left us hungry. I really enjoyed the dinners but it was challenging for vegetarian children as there weren’t so many options for them. The car service was very professional but I think next time we would hire a car for more flexibility.
Beautiful and serene place to stay and use as base to visit nearby places like Polignano da Mare, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Alberobello…. The breakfast was excellent and very complete. The restaurant is delicious and the service is first class. Special thanks to Desiree’ and Fabian for making our stay wonderful!
Excellent and helpful staff. Lovely countryside area surrounding of the hotel. Quiet around. Perfect cleanliness. The reception will always answer any request.
Children under 16 are not allowed in the spa area. It was already cold outside and we had to persuade them to let the child at least go into the indoor pool to warm up. We had to call the senior manager to get such permission. Very low quality dinners at the hotel. The menu hardly changed every day.
It was in a lovely location and they kindly upgraded to a larger room without asking.
It was too big and therefore lacking in intimacy. There were mosquitos in the room at night and not just one or two. Our fault for not bringing stuff with us but the staff were aware it would be an issue and did not warn or provide anything to deal with it. A very sleep deprived night. It was a little like a private hospital.
Beautiful views. Wonderful white architecture that conform to local surroundings. Very nice wine bar.
Location is a little hard to get to and nothing around the property so you need transportation.
I liked the hotel view and quiet location. My room was spacious enough for a suite.
Unfortunately the spa had to be closed due to a fire caused by faulty wiring.Half of the building including the rest of my family had to be evacuated to another hotel in the middle of the night>My room was affected as the smoke monitor was flashing and I did not get a restful sleep. When I complained of this I was given a small credit for my trouble.
friendly staff, excellent service, great location, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, swimming pool amazing. everything was perfect
The people were really nice and trying to always adjust to our needs. The room was spacious and location was quite good. Breakfast and dinner were very nice with a really nice view.
The room was a. little bit outdated.
Great location, staff very attentive , great breakfast, excellent spa facilities, free upgrade to a suite.
The property was pretty and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. The staff was super helpful.
There were not enough pool loungers to accommodate all the guests. The pool menu was limited and the food was bad. The bathroom needed some modernization. The location of the hotel is very challenging to drive to, particularly at night. The signage could be much better.
The resort is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. The pool and surrounding area were lovely for relaxing and the pool was large enough that you felt you could have your own space (if wanted). My husband and I had a lovely experience in the spa (facial and massage) and the breakfasts and coffee were very good. Also the shuttle service down to Polignano a Mare was really helpful and always seemed to be available for use.
We felt that some of the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. We were rarely greeted with a smile, which is a minimum we expect from luxury resorts. Some of the staff were great though - Desiree and Aleandro on the breakfast terrace were always smiling and warm (as well as being efficient and helpful) and the girls in the spa were very friendly and pleasant too.
the location for the breakfast was good, and the selection of food good too. The location is good and the room amazing. Personnel was trying to support and help at any occasion.
Overall, the resort is great, the food amazing, personnel extremely gentle and kind. The SPA in not at the level of such a resort, I had several small issues (once there was not water in the room, during the night I wanted a coke but I couldn't open it because there was no bottle opener, etc. Since I also had some small issues at the restaurant, the manager apologized and took actions to compensate my disappointment, which testifies their attention to the customers, and I appreciated this gesture a lot, not in itself, but because of the caring from their side. I couldn't go to the beach because the sunbeds reserved for the resort were sold out for the two days I stayed there and therefore the only solution was to enjoy the pool in the hotel. Overall, I have good memories.
