The service from everyone was wonderful. Our room stewardess (her name begins with "B" - my memory is too short) and the hostess at the amazing breakfast (Hilke) were helpful in so many ways. The desk staff was very fluent in English (and tolerated my Deutsche) and helpful. Gasthaus Maisberger is a gem for a short or long stay.

There are pros and cons to being next door to the train station and bus stop.

We had a large room with a comfortable king size bed, a couch, an arm chair, a couch table and a large TV. There was also a good size bathroom with a tub and a shower. The room was quiet. The breakfast was excellent and a real bargain. Free parking on the premise was also a real plus. A bus and a subway station is right in front of the hotel. The Munich Airport is within 10 minutes of driving from the hotel. The hotel restaurant is excellent but is closed on Monday.

The pillows were lumpy and need upgrading. We had to leave the hotel at 5:30 AM but the elevator was not working. That was a struggle with our heavy suitcases coming down from the 3rd floor. It was difficult to find an alternative good restaurant on a Monday in the area.

Great location when you have an early flight out of Munich as it is next to the S Bahn station. Rooms are clean and a go

Customer service was awesome. Left my bag in the storage room because I had a trip to Italy in-between my stays and it was waiting for me in my room upon my return. The restaurant even threw some sandwiches together for us after they were closed because we hadn't eaten. They went above and beyond! Can't beat the location. Literally across the street form the train station.

We had 4 rooms, all were neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel location is perfect for those who want to take trains everywhere. Its right across the Neufahrn train station. Breakfast spread was good and had options for vegetarians as well.

2 rooms were bigger and had better view and ventilation than others. 2 of the rooms were little smaller. Nothing to dislike though.

Breakfast was excellent, room was quite and clean. Although the hotel was a little older, it made my stay very cozy and comfortable. Recommend asking for what you need when you make your reservation. I asked for a neck pillow and it was in my room when I arrived.

Dated. Staff not helpful. Miscommunication about the type of room - committed to two beds but instead offered me a double bed. Sold out and no other choices. Also made us stayed in the overflow building which was next to the hotel.

Bathrooms could be more comfortable

The location is excellent for people who wants to stay near the airport, take S-bahn just 10 minutes and the station is less than 5 minutes from hotel. Cafe and supermarket are very near. Amenities are not much but it’s worth the price. Elevator is available.

The hotel was right next to the train station. We arrived after dark so this was very convenient. Room was quiet even though it faced the street. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options.

So many good reviews and many mentioning how spacious the rooms were, so we must have been given a particularly small room - barely 12'' between the end of the bed and the wall. Dense uncomfortable pillows. The bathroom light didn't work and and one nightstand light was broken. Curtains didn't fully block out the bright street lights. Wish we'd been assigned one of the charming updated rooms in the booking.com photos.

Brilliant for the airport, with effective arrangement for late arrival. S Bahn next door. Always friendly and helpful staff.Nice spacious rooms. Good breakfast.

Easy to get to from airport. Train stop is right beside hotel. Great place for a one night stop over in Munich. Staff great and good breakfast.

No air con and room stuffy. Early flight so missed breakfast but was charged for it. Elevator shut down at night so had to carry suitcases down 3 flights stairs. Our flight was at 9am so left at 630am but elevator still off

Easy to access. Very close to the train station that goes to the airport. Great location. I checked in after hours and they were very accommodating with dropping my key in a lock box outside the hotel.
