Grand Hotel Palace

The staff were extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and in a very nice room looking out on the water. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and we were very warmly welcomed.

The beds were a bit firm for our liking.

Location, large rooms.

Little dated in appearance.

Overall experience was exceptional, room, amenities, parking, service were what a hotel experience should be! Heard the criticism about the location, but the tradeoff was the elegance of the hotel, the setting and the overall sheer enjoyment we experienced. Thank You Grand Hotel

The swimming pool closed.TV had no English channelsShower: Small cubicle that leaked.No clear instructions in room about facilities and how things worked.Chair in room uncomfortable and wobbly.

High standard of the hotel, free parking lots, great swiming pool

Localization of the hotel outside the town requires usage of the car or taxi to get there

Personal at the reception is very professional, they were very kind and gave us perfect advices as for turistic information and for good places to eat.

Terrible breakfast and service. The staff were preoccupied especially at breakfast. The rooms are tired and dated. Clearly not been updated in 30 years!

The location was ok but not easy to find as the GPS directs you at the back side of the hotel. It is old fashioned hotel, which could do better with some renovations

For the breakfast they can do better with some fresh fruits and the stuff in the restaurant needs to be more polite

Pool was not kept clean. Bathroom was always warm and there was no cold water coming out of the tap.

Its a little dated in style, (which may appeal to some) - the pool is adjacent to the car park - our “sea view” which we paid extra for was also out over the car park.

The hotel was quiet and tastefully decorated with a seafront location.The reception staff was very helpful.The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice (although it seemed odd that you needed to ask for milk for your cereal!)

The waiting/bar staff didn't seen very 'engaged' - they didn't look around to see if anyone needed anything, it was necessary to have to go and ask for drinks The location was ok, but it was necessary to drive into town to get to places to eat.

I loved everything about this hotel...5 stars with 6*. Amazing Reception, Rooms Very clean. Amazing decoration inside, very nice swimming pool. Staff are very friendly, very hands-on service. Best breakfast in Italy so far. I have stayed in so many hotels up and down the country. Definitely, I will stay there again.

The service was excellent. The room was spacious. The pool was big and breakfast was included.

Near the pool, there were no washrooms. Location of the hotel is far from touristy areas such as the beach or for dinner. There were extra charges for towels and use of jacuzzi. The shower in the room was very small .

Parking and pool facilities were good.. Checkin staff spoke English and very helpful...

The hotel looks renovated, room was very spatious, the pool was nice.

For a 5* hotel there should be at least free water in the room, not just the mini bar, the room was not cleaned during the day, the beds were not made. The breakfast was ok, but definitely not 5* - or perhaps it was Sicilian 5*.

Great Experience.

This stay was a pleasure from the first moment till we left. The staff accommodated us with our furry and suffering from heat cat very quickly, even in spite of our slightly early arrival. The room was beautiful, stylish, spacious and very comfortable. Also walking in the corridors was like in an art museum.Breakfast was with many salty and sweet options, we really liked different stuffed pies and local pastries. The staff was friendly and made all arrangements we asked for. We totally recommend to visit the Florian winery nearby, and you can reserve at the reception.

Location is a bit far from the central part of Marsala, we mostly used car for all transportation. Funny thing that was resolved quickly - we had hot water from both taps at some point. Staff took care of it in a decent time.
