JUFA Hotel Königswinter/Bonn

Breakfast was great and the location nice.

The room was somewhat small but ok for one night. There was one playing room only suitable for small children. No other children-friendly infrastructure we were used to from other JUFA hotels. For the services provided way too expensive.

The property can be found in a nice environment. Surrounded by lots of nature. It is a great location.

I was hoping for a different experience with the room.1. We reserved a room for 3 people with 3 full beds, we only received 2 and 1 child cod.2. Not enough towels, only for 2 people but we paid for 3…3. Sheets were just too small.same size as the bed.4. Tables where reserved by breakfast even those persons never came or were already done eating

The location is stunning. The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome.

We liked everything. It's a way from the town but we would walk down to the town to connect with buses, trams,trains and get a taxi back to the hotel at the end of our day out.

The breakfast was exceptional. Nicely presented, huge selection of cold, hot choices.

Hotel rated as 4 star on booking.com, but in reality it is 3 star at best. No air con, room basic, limited menu in the restaurant, due to the number of guests using the facility, even though we were paying guests! . No flexibility.....be aware the restaurant shuts at 8pm.... you are expected to leave the restaurant by then, so if you book a table for 7.30pm, you would be expected to be finished by 8pm! Some staff are very friendly, whilst others are not so friendly. We took a train into Cologne (Koln), which was great, but our train got delayed coming back, which meant we were slightly delayed getting back to the hotel. After trying to call the hotel ahead of getting back with no-one answering the phone!, to apologise that we would be slightly delayed for our 7.30pm reservation. We were told at the desk we could cancel our reservation, might not be charged ( thankfully we weren't) and it was our choice to have either pizza if we wished at the bar or eat the buffet menu within 15 mins!! The choice was ours! Good for an overnight stop, but not for longer! Beware also if you pay extra for a balcony with views, that you may have the delight of smoke wofting through your room from other residents!

Room was nice and the breakfast was excellentStaff were very friendly and helpfull.

Check in is at 1600 but our room wasnt ready till 1630.The room itself was clean but the hallways were a bit dirty.

The food in the restaurant was very good.

The pillows are very thin and matras quite hard. No extra pilliws. No airco but even no ventilator in the room. Together makes that no one in the room could sleep well even with open windows. Bad experience. Next time we 'lll go to another hotel where can sleep well. Also no fridge, no comfort at all.

Nice location just on the outskirts of Konigswinter , pleasant staff at check in and in restaurant/breakfast room.

Room very small and very hot, window only opened slightly.

Lovely clean spacious room .Breakfast was awesome. All tastes catered for. Beautiful views and walks within the grounds. Fantastic place well worth the visit. Now looking at other Jufa hotels.

Everything OK

It could have been nice but the position of my building and layout of the room spoiled my experience

The hotel is split into many properties and notwithstanding the fact I booked a double bedroom, I found myself sleeping on my own in a room with three single beds, which made no sense at all, plus I was not too comfortable on a single pretty hard bed. The hotel has stunning views over Bonn, but by room was on the ground floor of a dethatched building surrounded by shrubs, so saw none of it. It was also the only room on my floor with no outside private terrace with tables and chairs. This was a massive shame, considering the enviable position of the hotel.

Great family room with a separate room with the bunk bed for the children; lovely view over the vineyard to the Rhine; a private terrace; very good breakfast with generous hours; nice walks directly from the hotel (including to the rack and pinion railway to Drachenfels); a private football field

Very heavy, self-closing doors (for fire protection), very difficult with small children and a risk to their hands. A more generous play area indoors and a playground outdoors would make the hotel even more attractive for families. There’s not much infrastructure for a four-star hotel; fridges only on request, no swimming pool.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 stars: there were no slippers in the room, no kettle, no minibar fridge. The building looks like an old school.

Location has a lot of scenery over Rhein river. Breakfest was very good and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is located quite far from the city. To reach some resturants etc. you need to drive a car. Hotel restaurant worked in the evening, but the menue was very limited. You can only order a complete dinner set by selecting 3 courses with 2 options for each.In general, the hotel requires some renovation. Noise insulation is quite poor, but it did not bother me a lot as it seemed very few people stayed on my floor during my stay :)

Nothing that I didnot like , rooms were like hostel . They brought memories of college days
