Charming Hotel decor - great hotel restaurant - exceptional Staff that provided you the best restaurant attention possible. Gave you the feel of smaller town Germany. By the Rhine river and one of the main streets in the town. Rooms were clean.

Very poor auto parking - they have one small parking area for about 6 or 8 autos only on a side dead end alley. Otherwise you have to park your auto on the street a block away or at the public parking lot about 2 to 3 blocks away.

Great location, comfy rooms, historic building.

The owner was incredibly nice which gave me a wonderful first impression. Then the room was so nicely set up and comfortable. And finally the breakfast was unbelievable - the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was also quite good and the room looked nice and clean. Breakfast was very well prepared and enjoyable. All in all, I'm very happy to have booked a room here and I can certainly recommend it as I would definitely go here again.

Das Hotel Krone is conveniently located in the center of Königswinter, just steps away from the Rhein as well as the railway to Drachenfels. The owner greets you upon arrival and provides a very smooth and professional check in experience. If you’re staying here, you HAVE to try their vegetarian breakfast. Every item is carefully thought out and super delicious. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it. They don’t have parking on site but for 5 EUR / day, you’ll get a pass to park nearby.

I wish the breakfast was just a bit more affordable so that more people could experience how delicious it is.

The after business hour instructions were excellent. Very detailed and thought out. The room windows were open and the fans at high speed were a nice personal touch. The entire staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like, only one recommendation. For visitors checking in after hours, a parking pass could be placed in the room with instructions.

The building is in great condition; the only issue is that there is no elevator, which was a bit of a problem for us since we were with my 83-year-old mother

Lovely old historic building in the quiet pedestrian zone of the town. Room was huge and well equipped, convenient location, great hosts. Fine for business travel or just as a room to see the local area. Easy no fuss room key collection. Possibly not so suitable for less mobile guests due to the stairs and things like the high step into the shower. Otherwise fine.

Would have been useful if the restaurant was open in the evenings, but understandable why not given the size of the hotel versus the cost of running the restaurant in the evening where the majority of guests would most probably eat out. However, at least offering a bar to be able to sit and have a drink in the evening would be a good improvement.

The central location was perfect for our visit -not far from the river, the Drachenfels railway and museum.Breakfast was served at table and was beautifully presented. It contained a variety of tasty dishes including plant based products.

The hotel was located very centrally and near several (cheap) parking options. As we couldn’t make it in time for the “check-in” the staff already ensured we were provided with very clear and straightforward instructions to enter the hotel easily ourselves. The room was neat and tidy, including a decent size bed! The bathroom was clean, although a bit outdated.

Although we fully respect the decision to offer vegan/plant based breakfast, this isn’t stated clearly when including breakfast as part of your booking. Therefore it would be appreciated if non-vegan options were available/offered as well, or to state it very clear when booking so guests are aware beforehand.

Clean and nice room with a good connection to the highway. Rooms had plenty of space and a big bathroom. Parking is available nearby but not directly in front of the hotel since it is located inside the pedestrian area of Königswinter.Very friendly staff and CheckIn/CheckOut worked very smoothly!

Expected a kettle in the room , no water provided on the 2nd day, WiFi didn’t work alot of the time from the room, probably was at the edge or the signal.

The hotel delivered on our expectations exactly, the location, cleanliness, comfort, and ease you expect from a high class hotel in a small scale and affordable setting. We didn’t need much from the staff as they had made sure that our needs were fulfilled even before we arrived. Couldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in the area.

The owner was there to welcome me himself, he helped me with the connectivity and proximity
