its older but grand, marble floors in lobby, like an upscale older hotel from decades ago. (I like that) overall exactly what I wanted in a weekend getaway. the room was large by European standards and very classy. Feet from local light rail

The room needs just a bit of updating. A flat screen is all. The breakfast; had to skip it due to cost - 19 Euros per person? Really? but that was all.

We arrived in the evening after a long drive to find our room unprepared, missing a bed, and we had to wait for staff to set it up.The room was dirty, so much so that we even found a previous guest's sock.The pool was too cold to use.

I like the location and the facilities and also its very nice hotel with the pool and its clean.

I requested for a crib but they did not put the crib in the room and the room was not the same room i booked.

Nice value for money buffet. Excellent location. Very nice service of all the staff. We enjoyed the hassle-free renting of bikes.

Only expected the Rhein river view to be a bit better, relatively small window and no terrace. Room was great but expected just a little more when booking a Rhein River view.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a family-friendly atmosphere, complemented by a lovely view of the Rain River. My children loved the swimming pool, and we will definitely be returning for another visit.

We stayed here in December as we visited Bonn and some of the Christmas markets. Great location, lovely room with room service and very comfortable beds. Clean and comfortable, we booked one of the cheaper rooms but still had a great view of the Christmas tree at the front of the hotel and the Rhine. The cherry waffles from the restaurant are the best waffles I have ever had. Would definitely stay again.

I loved the room, it was clean and organized. The breakfast was very good, with freshly made juices and smoothies. The view from the place was perfect. The service was excellent.

The pool was very cold, even though they said the water was 27 degrees. I got in anyway, plucked up the courage and took a shower in cold water, but I prefer warmer water. I took a shower at my room with water at 38 degrees, and it was ideal. Have you ever thought about if the shower was also at 27 degrees like the pool? It would be impossible to take a shower, right?

The music in the pianobar was fantastic.My compliments to the pianoplayer, NENAD MANDIC, very nice person and can play any music you like.

We could not reserve, as a guest, for the restaurant on first and second Christmas day.There were more people booked in, in the hotel, as there were places in the restaurant.

Excellent hotel, service and special attention by the professionals. I am especially thankful to the manager who could arrange food for me after 23:00 as I was late arriving at the hotel and all restaurants nearby were closed incl. online delivery services.

the room was right next to the elevator, so you can hear the noise and ppl talking while waiting for the elevator. the curtain in bathroom constructed in the way that the floor gets wet when showering

Location, terrace, room was excellent, a family room 265. Shower was perfect.

Dinner buffet, minimum choices, and less quality. It's a bit expensive for what it is.

Quite a special place. Big and expensive facilities but still quite personal

I wasn't too impressed by the choice of food in the restaurant but it seemed to be good nonetheless

usually we arriving on Saturday to Maritim, but this on Sunday, at 8pm, and buffet was closed there and all restaurants around Hotel closed too((( a la carte menu has crazy prices, such like Wiener schnitzel for 33Eur is insane...

Right on the river and an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and the Drachenfels train and castle. Would be super easy to get into Bonn or Frankfurt using the tram. Great break on a long journey to the Alps with the swimming pool an extra help to stretch out limbs after a drive from the UK. Really great breakfast.

Lack of onsite parking.

The size of the family room was much larger than expected and perfect for our family of 5. The room had great facilities, including a coffee machine, kettle etc.The children liked the mini bags of Haribo on arrival, and our toddler enjoyed the penguin toiletry set. .
