    Pros +

    • The location was good for our purpose (attending the Istres airshow). The room was clean.
    • Located quite well for all the important locations nearby.
    • the hotel was very comfortable. it was on the edge of town but close to the main roads and easily reached. very quiet due to our stay being at the weekend

    Cons -

    • I think this is the most basic hotel I've used in years; chosen only for its location. Beside the hotel is another Ibis, called the 'budget' Ibis - it's hard to see what the difference might be, as our room had virtually nothing in it other than a bed and one of those plastic modular bathrooms. No fridge, no tea/coffee, and the pillows on the bed were like teabags.I expected something more like a Premier Inn/Travelodge, but it wasn't close - and it wasn't the 'budget' one we stayed in, but the main Ibis on the same site. We didn't try the food as it had such a low score on review sites.
    • The bathrooms had strong smell in all the rooms we rented, they were generally small and too compact.
    • ON arrival the staff were very friendly for check in, and then we were barely acknowledged in the evening or in the morning. No good morning and no good evening

Close to the airbase for working on site. 5 minute drive max.Near enough to local ameneties that there are a handful of restaurants nearby.20 minute drive into the center of town and 30 mintues into Martigues.

ON arrival the staff were very friendly for check in, and then we were barely acknowledged in the evening or in the morning. No good morning and no good evening

The Boulangerie next door has good breakfast, room temperature was good for half price of hotel's one.

The room was dirty, with dust stuck in every corner, window shade was broken, bathroom walls had some human fluids marks all around, WC flush worked partially, hot water irregular in the shower.

    5RaresPosted on: 8-1-2022

    the parking was free

dirty drapes, air conditioning very loud, bathroom was dirty and lots of dust all over the windows, cupboards and vents. in the dining area it smelled like sewage.

    very good staff, nice pool.

we had to change the room because there was no cold water. but the staff was very good and they were very helpful and found immediate solution

    Location was ok.

There was food, bread crumbs and croutons, between the sheets. The pillows were smelling food as well. Sheets were not changed. It makes me wonder about towels...

Hi, unfortunately the wifi coverage in room 133 was not working and thus I had to rely on my international roaming 4G data connection. In turn, this was too often poor and degraded to 3G. Summary: it was not possible to work from the room. Thanks, best regards.

Little,I was located conveniently for my needs and breakfast was ok.

The main thing I want from a 3star hotel is a working bar and kitchen. it had neither. other than this, the place is set up like a prison, from the gated entry which is shared with the adjacent budget Ibis version through to small rooms with poorly maintained blinds and rooms who have bathrooms that are clearly fitted as prefabricated pods. The bathrooms especially reminded me of the self cleaning toilets and shower rooms once found in the downmarket F1 motels. The bathroom lacked any quality to the finish as it was a fibreglass pod.The room itself was poor, with dust under the bed, a desk space that presumably could be folded out into a bed if someone unlocked it with a key. That convertiblebed aspect made the desk space unusable as there was insufficient depth to actual use it as a desk.As the hotel has laid off its kitchen and wait staff, there was no evening food service at all. the only option was to order take away and await a call to collect it from the restaurant area to take back to your room and eat it there. they will probably claim Covid is the reason, but in the mean time I have stayed in many hotels that aren’t doing this. I still don’t know why I’m even giving them these points.

Convenient and clean, suitable location to reach the close-by BA125, free parking, very helpful and kind staff.

    WiFi at times weak.
