Landhotel Klingerhof

Location is great, few km from motorway. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Installation is nice and cosy. Very complete breakfast.

Quality of bed and mattress. juts not confortable, poor back support. Bed making nose when moving (bed frame). OUt of that, all is perfect

Close to the highway, a perfect location for a night stay if you cross Europe.The pool and sauna area looked awesome, unfortunately we had no time to really enjoy it. Very nice breakfast and coffee.Never been to a hotel being so friendly to dogs and a lots of place to have a walk with them.

Unfortunately the kitchen was not open, so we needed to order a pizza.

I couldn’t use the facilities as I didn’t bring a swimming costume and the sauna is only open 6-8pm. Very rural locality beautiful views from the hilltop excellent breakfast ample parking for €2. I had a Functional room with balcony, the other wing will have fantastic views like the breakfast room. Very clean close to Haibach for a choice of restaurants.

The Klingerhof is located very quietly. it is easy to find a parking spot. Having a car is very helpful to get to the sights near by.

Location was fantastic with beautiful views of german countryside. We really enjoyed our breakfast, wide selection of warm and cold food was pleasing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room wasn't set up for 2 adults and child, as per our booking, so not sure what happened there. Only one set of towels provided, so had to ask for extra, which was resolved by receptionist promptly, but still... We all ended up sleeping on double bed, covered with one single duvet supplied with cover as well as another single duvet without the cover, pillows dreadful. Could not be bothered after 10 hours of driving, so given up on idea to go and see receptionist about that again. Sofa bed was just in unacceptable state and I would not let my dog sleep on it, never mind my 5yr old daughter.Bathroom desperate for modernisation and red carpet in 80's style was the last drop for us.

We were surprised to be told when checking in that their restaurant was closed for holidays. The receptionist offered to book us table elsewhere but several others were also closed that weekend. We ended up going to Burger King. It would have been better to have been warned when booking that restaurant was going to be closed for night.

Staff very friendly, breakfast good. Small gym and pool useful

Rather noisy of the evening with people outside drinking until 11 and we had been up at 5 as travelling.

Whenever we travelling through Europe, we always try to book room here for a night. Unfortunately, many times the room sold out. We love the value what we get for our money. Beautiful area, very green with crispy air.

The reception lady was very polite and helpful, the room was massive and the breakfast was the best I had for a while

No mention on booking.com of the restaurant being closed on Thursdays. The check-in receptionist did book us an excellent restaurant some way down the hill.Check-out receptionist refused to let any of my group of 15 leave the hotel until I paid the bill, I went to pay and he was unaware of who was and wasn't in my group.

Very nice staff. Great beds. Beautiful location with great views. The food in the restaurant was very nice.

The looks inside the hotel are sometimes a little old fashioned. Many elderly people are visiting this place I guess. With a little modernization it would be a great place for younger people to spend some extra days at this beautiful spot.

The pool is more than ok for a quick swim, but the years are starting to count. Food at the restaurant good in taste, not cheap.

Wonderful surroundings, beautiful panoramic view. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and very clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Everything was perfect!

Staff is very kind, hotel is clean and lobby recently refreshed. Nice landscape. Easy to park and well communicated not so far from the main motorway.

Quality of the matress and bed. Noisy when we move and matress not confortable (poor support). I would definitely recommend to the hotel to invest in more confortable matresses. Bed cloth are very good and confortable.

Our room overlooked an untidy yard but as we were only staying one night it didn’t really matter.
